The Daily Talk Show Episode 724 Georgie boy here going through all the interviews from the 24 hour livestream. We're getting to the business and now this one was recorded at 1am. And I think it's with the perfect guest, Christian. Whoa. He's so funny. This is a very loose episode.
0:23
And I hope you enjoy it. Christian. How's he? Ah,
0:30
beautiful man.
0:33
Filkin buddy.
0:34
Oh, I'm so sorry for my Internet's really bad. I've had no internet for a week.
0:40
So what happened?
0:43
Um, well, it turns out when you're on lockdown, your porn consumption increases rather dramatically. So um, I've very much what's a lot of porn. And it's also just, I've uploaded so many more videos. And I've just used it all the time. They'll struggle more. So I've currently on I think it's like, I've got all techie because I was uploaded 0.3 megabytes I can do the most time allowed. No, which is not.
1:12
Not much. I'm even gonna lower feed back to us so that so that you can keep keep more so we're gonna look at your end.
1:23
Yeah, yeah. Great.
1:26
Yeah. So
1:28
this is like it's Christian. I haven't seen you like last time I saw you, I think. Yeah, I mean it was when you live in Melbourne, and I could hug you and I see you but now you don't live in our state anymore. What's happening man? How's it going in Brisbane?
1:43
Oh, we had a cold 22 degrees today was all over the news that Brisbane has a cold snap and it's so no water shift for whether Melbourne is I? So I lived in Melbourne for five years and I did it for work and it's a beautiful city but Whether it's just put it in the bin, like, hate the weather, I hate the weather. Um, which is weird because like, fat people have like poor circulation. So they like when it's a bit colder, but I don't I like when it's warm. I like picking off the clothing.
2:20
You were very, very keen to buy an apartment. That was all what that was on your list for for a long time. Is that what you've done moving to Queensland?
2:32
Yes, in my own home, I felt so adults. I tried to buy Melbourne but it's really it's really expensive. And Brisbane. It's just like, they pay to live. They want people to live here so badly. So it's very cheap. Yeah.
2:45
Yeah. So you're decorating your apartment. It looks amazing like that. No one who's a tenant puts that kind of wallpaper up.
2:56
Oh my god. I can't believe wallpaper. There's a million holes. The wall not for not, you know what you'd assume they've been before, but
3:05
just the freedom, I just do what ever I want to do. And like it looks really nice on camera now, but if I were to just angle the camera slightly that way, it's just a sea of like holes in the drywall mess. This shit everywhere. I'm living my best life. It's been really good and leaving full time work, I thought would be quite fair. That's actually turned out to be good. I think the last time I ran into Tommy, I was still working at CAA which is the radio station
3:39
where I met you spent Yeah, we gave up our lives.
3:45
My days liable. How do you feel like I saw you'd like when you're doing your tool with tenure. I feel like I saw so much activity from you and me. It was just the Crap, you know, being on out and around Australia. What's your activity in the last sort of three months in terms of content creation?
4:10
Um, well, I was supposed to be on tour sort of right now. Unfortunately, that got cancelled, which I'm sort of relieved that because I hadn't planned anything. And I get really anxious with tours. And I really want to do it in December. So I was like, Yes. So hopefully reschedule that for December. And it's hard because I think what I'm now doing is what I was doing before, but I'm now not having to go to work in radio five days a week. So it's just like, if I want to film something for YouTube, I just film it and then I edit it for the 600 other different platforms that I'm on. That's about it. It's I probably, I'm definitely someone that gets a bit. I mean, you look at me and go, he loves to sit on the couch, and I do, but I get bored really quickly. So I'm always is having to film it or make an tik tok really good because it's like vine because you can just bash out a whole lot of crap. And it keeps me occupied and so I think that's what I've been doing a lot. So you'd
5:15
be gone Tick Tock is
5:17
what I did you just ask me if I got verified? Yes, I did.
5:26
All the teenagers like it's so funny. My two best friends have a 16 year old who just could not do the shit about me in the slightest last week and a blue verification tick on tick on Tick tock, and she's like, hey, when you come in, I'm like, oh my god. Can I be like Can Can you feel me? Can you put me on your tic Tock and I'm like, Yes.
5:51
Did it just appear overnight? Like what how do you become a blue ticker?
5:55
Um, no, I had to use Oh my god, there's so much
6:03
I got accepted into like a secret whatsapp group. And there's like these secret groups and then there was this, like, oh, if you fill this form out and we send it through and fingers crossed, you get a tick and then a couple of weeks later it happened. But it's really weird. Wow.
6:24
That's Charles doing that great work. So there you go. Absolutely not.
6:34
I know you
6:38
and so the content What's the difference? Like what's the sensibilities when you're doing stuff on Tick Tock versus the normal? Like the the other content that you do?
6:48
You can do whatever you want on Tick tock, man. And keep
6:54
that keep it quick. Eight seconds, I reckon is the golden amount of time, whether it'll little doing pretty well. You get it. It's It's such a weird platform because I was very much someone who was like, it's for, you know, teenagers who email and have laundry hair and then death to me. It was stupid like dumb until I was forced to go on it. That it's so funny you got do you do to talk at all?
7:24
Or Yeah, I've just we've got the daily talk show, and I've done a few duets. So if gronk do sort of dances, then I'll do I'm happy to sort of do them as well.
7:34
Do you watch it though? Do you consume anything?
7:37
And I go down sort of bit rabbit holes with it where you start scrolling. And then you've wasted. Yeah.
7:48
That's the thing. That algorithm for showing you content is so genius, because it just knows what you like. And I don't know how it does this. The other night I was like, I'll watch some before It was 11 o'clock. And then I was like, I'm gonna go to bed and it was three in the morning. Four hours had just disappeared. And I was like laughing crying laughing
8:12
I'm quite obsessed with it like
8:17
I just like say with Instagram I've never left a comment on tik tok is that more? Like I feel like Instagram that seems like a more natural thing where it's it feels like with Tick tock, you sort of just scroll through it.
8:30
And you can comment. But yeah, it's more just watching. I think
8:38
kids use acronyms like they're just using acronyms. I don't even know what happens is saying they're way ahead of me. I've never felt but I mean, I feel like you sort of just, you know, you've got a sponge and you just squeezing it.
8:56
What's really funny is all the comments. I get are My mom watches your videos. Can you shout out for my mom? You know, my nan things are really funny. I'm like, oh god, I shouldn't be here. Like a crazy
9:12
this child has just brought up some. This is the tick tock that you did that went viral. Who, um, like, like It Wasn't there a bunch of like mainstream US media, like companies that unlike shows that spoke about this
9:32
there was a there was a weird one I bought a T shirt folder, because I'm very guy in a very organized wardrobe. And then I got it and use it was the most exciting thing in my life. And that's the like, the moment in your life where you know, I'm officially in my 30s now this small piece of plastic that helps me follow a T shirt brings me so much joy. And
9:55
then I woke up the next morning and someone was like Oh, good morning, America. Yo video.
10:03
Yeah, and that was it. Oh my God, he's a Australian that has a very sad and lonely life.
10:10
So it's um it's 117 in the morning. And what do you have for
10:15
us Christian already up sorry, I just need this.
10:18
Now my sleeping patterns are completely upset Craig like I'll go to bed. Maybe four o'clock. Wake up at midday. Oh, wow. Which is I usually am I in bed at nine minutes just quarantine is just I don't know. I don't know why I'm so tired. I'm always tired. And I couldn't do anything. And then someone says because I'm not doing anything that I'm just taught like I'll have a nap from two to five and then I sleep for like 12 hours Um, yes. That's a really good way of putting it. And I hate it. I can't get any sort of rhythm back.
11:05
How much of it is so things get more sort of smarty as the night goes on? How much of that like like sibs has been having Mr. Nice Evans got a girlfriend now. Grace, she lives in wi he's been staying up until four in the morning. Is Do you think there is something? Is this something? I know? Is this something that happened in the night? Do you think that the nighttime brings a different, a different vibe?
11:45
I mean, not normally when the sexy things happen, but
11:51
I don't know. Maybe it depends. Like, if you look at your window in the whole city shut down, you feel like you could probably get away with a bit more
12:00
So I reckon you're horniest if you were to
12:06
ask me this all
12:16
the time you will well because I feel like
12:23
Morning
12:26
Morning from and then lunch and then afternoon and then not i think i think i'm not that normal though. I think when you get when you can get six on tap, which is like essentially grinder it's just like oh, which is you know it's just like I have two phones one's a grinder phone because I'm just on it and then I've got my normal phone.
12:51
Do you think you're an additional opportunity? Do you think people are willing to do craziest shit not like if you when you
13:05
I've probably done the weirdest shit after midnight.
13:09
Yeah, it is one of you didn't have
13:15
any weird shit tonight Do I have the
13:19
same set this up this is pretty weird I don't usually go to this much effort for anybody knows a lot throughout it's all very dark and I lead them into the bedroom don't turn the lights on but I'm definitely exactly like the photos that I say Don't touch me
13:38
i mean i don't know if it's to smarty but save said that he was going to do something with the banana when you were here is some sort of like training thing. I don't know TJ what how do you feel about it now I feel like
13:54
I don't know if he's training in the right sport. To be honest,
13:57
I love it.
14:00
To be won't be relatable to Christian get me a banana
14:07
i mean do you know what
14:10
I mean? You don't have to you don't have to shove a banana rectally it orally or anything okay?
14:20
said it
14:22
could be very be rude not to
14:25
hi Christina, you close it, you know where
14:33
can I just quickly say if you heal and put like
14:38
you put like the tip in your mouth cards or on your taste
14:43
and twist it and pull it out it makes it look like an actual penis. I really that's a good
14:54
that's a great tip.
15:01
Yeah, all different people in the audience. I'm thinking, I'm thinking through the lens of the audience, right.
15:12
Very good tip. Yes. Thank you.
15:17
Christian. Is it Brisbane home for you? I can't remember your family from up though.
15:21
Yeah. Ah, not Sydney. I was born and raised in Sydney.
15:27
And so cool. There's a few opinions on the on the, you know, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. What is your opinion on
15:41
Brisbane? Melbourne, beautiful. I'm just too cold. Sydney. to Brisbane is for me what the glory days of Sydney were so I think, I think why I love placements when I grew up in Sydney. Like I never wanted to leave it wasn't overcrowded or soon Vizio stressful, and now it's just turned into like this apartment of freeway. And it's just shit. Sydney's gross, like, going back there to visit mom and dad, because I just didn't like the city. And then they move to the Blue Mountains. And that was the time I was like, I'm never going back to Sydney again. And then when I got to Brisbane, it's just so much more relaxed. And it's nice. It's a lot of people in Brisbane.
16:29
And
16:31
this is what I give you all the things that there is to do.
16:36
Go for a walk up foot, and it's so much it just gives me that sort of carefree relaxed vibe. And I think that's why I need to get out of Melbourne. I was very stressed. I think it's just from previous experience, work. The weather, not having a place that had any heating or cooling and just hiding life. I think I needed a big change. That's why I came up here. Let's just I lived in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane.
17:07
Do you think that it actually delivered on that like when you arrived in Brisbane Were you happy or like I feel like the classic story is you move and then you're like super depressed and isn't didn't fix anything. It's actually you.
17:19
I have never been happier. I love life as well. Maybe not at the exact present moment. But I love Brisbane I love I'm sort of run on the river run on a ferry. And I can go up the Sunshine Coast. He's got up and chill out there and it's just very it's like halfway to retirement I feel which is why I like and warm. warm, warm, warm. I hate the cold. What's.
17:48
What's the scene like for a gay man? I'm gonna
18:02
set my air pods on the mics.
18:06
Oh, is it?
18:09
Probably gonna you're gonna probably. Yeah.
18:16
Yeah, can you
18:19
know it's good? It's, it's pretty good. I'm in the suburb in Brisbane. Brisbane
18:27
10 or eight. I know. So it's right on. Yeah. Oh, do you
18:37
want to Tom's next door? I could.
18:42
No, no, no, no, I just, I mean, trying to be reliable. I went for a walk. What I thought was just out by river the other day. And next minute I'm seeing I'm in the bushes and there's a guy with these decals, and I was quite taken back and then I realized those men everywhere I called my brother as I might do you know if he sees some kind of gay bait and he's like my that was actually that
19:10
Ah, my anytime and that time the guys will overrun it
19:18
or die and it's during COVID time Oh, there was no social distancing is this is are you aware of this going on Christian because I know you said you went to you've been to these kind of parks before
19:32
that was tied in confidence in private when we
19:34
went actually the title of the episode was
19:38
I've made so many videos on it
19:43
Aren't you banned from like Victorian parks or something?
19:56
Yes. No.
19:59
No When I was in my early 20s was when I was like, well, I've I lost my virginity three. And then I moved out of home and then it was just like the world had opened. And I don't. I'm never scared. Like someone was like, aren't you scared about having random men come over and they'll kill you? I'm like, well, I've got a knife under the bed. We'll be fine.
20:20
Do you really? Like it?
20:22
No, I used to, you know,
20:27
if they're gonna kill me,
20:29
um, and then there's been some very questionable moments where I'm like, geez, it's been a while. I'm just gonna go for a walk. And it's, you know, 130 in the morning, and you go to certain areas and you you see someone else going for a walk you like, going for a walk? Oh,
20:46
yeah. Yeah, I can't grab. Good catch that.
20:50
We were in the, the sort of right I had more questions about the picture guy for I mean, it's not in your head.
20:59
Does it Gate Park one's very keen to go back again.
21:05
I just want to know from the time of being there to the time like when I go fishing, I'm just thinking about the first time you know how quickly do I catch a fish? How quick is the first time that you catch a fish if we're going to use metaphors from the time you cast you
21:22
just a minute
21:25
Yeah, and what is this on a shaking hands and saying this is what's gonna this is? This is the
21:30
grinder or in a pack? fishing?
21:35
Oh,
21:37
oh, usually pre organize it. So you go in, you know?
21:43
Otherwise, it makes sense. No, it's very nice. Otherwise No. Fancy usually just like actual
21:53
cover. I'm trying to get politically correct and like in years without getting into trouble and there aren't any Good next question
22:04
was that if you did take for you Josh, how long was it for the first interview? Um, Jackie
22:11
I can share with you because that was with me. Like
22:19
that's cheap to well, we don't pass
22:22
but it is a nice is a nice walk though. Now I was gonna talk about the the radio bubble. I feel like when we last hung out we were still like you were just sort of transitioned off the bubble, but it's still in Melbourne had all that so they have you completely like mainstream media, all that sort of stuff. Like what's your perspective on everything? At the moment? How do you sort of
22:49
I'd love to know, and I'm sure because you've been talking for what 45 days now that you've probably spoken about this, but I don't think radio will return to Whatever was commercial FM radio, though, because that's where we will work. And then I made a lot of people redundant before the crisis happened. This has happened, you know, seven West is is accepting job Kiva payments, so they're clearly losing a lot of money. Chopped hands. FCA is kiss has done restructuring. No one's looking at changing things up a bit. And I mean, I think yes, appetizers are spending less, which is the reason and I think this is forcing advertisers to maybe look at where they want their money to go rather than not spend it. It's been interesting. I was worried when my tour got cancelled. I thought, shit, I just moved or just got a mortgage. I'm and then my manager was like, oh, here's like 25 briefs. Pick what you want to do. And I was like, What? Like, I've never seen this much work. So it's been like a buffet, we'll just pick things that sort of fun. And I would do and yeah, it's been really good. And so money's been really good and, and I think a lot of like advertisers are probably, you know, not spending their money in in different outlets or seeing different ways to do things. I right now, I'll go back to spending right here, and I will probably not be so terrible than what it is. Now. I just think I hate the mainstream media, like, I'm not quite at the level of Alex Jones and I'm not like wearing a tinfoil hat but i just i hate like, I haven't been in there for so long and and seeing what works as a business. Like just to make money like, yeah, you could like the Daily Mail that just won't read it. They don't care whether they're lying about people. And it was the same when I was working at RCA in the early If we were writing online articles, there was the hype in there. The fun of the job was to get that we had a live counter. And we used to get it up as high as we couldn't. We care about what we were writing. And so like I said, like we never wrote really scandalous, horrible things. It was trash. And you know, I regret writing some of the things that we did because like it's not newsworthy, we did it for clicks, you lie in the headline, you make it up, which is what a lot of times to do and people don't read the articles. They scroll through Facebook.
25:39
And then they just assume that that headline, they just take the headline, and then they, oh, you know, like,
25:47
it's always quoted and it's all I went down a rabbit hole where I found an article that was a lifesaver in got sued for rescuing a child who was drowning and water. And you read the article and they've cherry picked sort of quotes and, and reactions from people that haven't given you the story. They just make it out like America, they just sue everyone for the fun of it and how dare they sued this hero. And this is how like crazy I got. I went in I read the court transcripts. Because I was like this. There's no way like no normal person would sue a lightsaber. What turns out there was three people in the pool, and a kid was under for 60 seconds. And the life God didn't say him, he walked around the pool. He was supposed to do a check every six seconds is supposed to do a head count. And this kid was underwater for 60 seconds. This lifeguard like didn't end up doing his job, and rightly so should have been sued. And because a lot like the parents were being blamed, like we're the parents and it turns But he was at a summer camp. So he was a white.
27:04
Like, like a skullcap sort of thing. And it's like stuff like that. I'm like, oh, maybe.
27:13
Yeah, I mean, you mentioned like an obscure name. Alex Jones. It might go over some some people's heads. I have consumed the judges stuff. What is your favorite? theory? Shannon's Astor's
27:30
Oh, get me started. Okay, let me just go through the earth is definitely flat.
27:42
I think Princess Diana was murdered. Um, I sit rock for 911 because I'm like, there are some things in my life where I'm like, oh, how did how? And then there are other things were like, Well, obviously it wasn't Because just a terror attack. And then the other one is this isn't like the moon landing. I think the moon landing is real though. But I changed my mind so often.
28:12
It's funny how we don't know about like certain things like we were just like, having to believe the conspiracy theories. I've got the flat it's the flag wouldn't move because like all of these things where I'm like, Yeah, I've caught like,
28:27
I don't know. Yeah, well, that's the other thing that's like almost like, in a way that you can't trust the media, but you can't trust anything, unless you physically with it and saw it. How do you know? But I love conspiracies. Like at the moment the Coronavirus one is I watched the YouTube video. It's not funny. Obviously not 5g, like that was amazing that they thought it was coming through the 5g networks and about how they recommend started from a bar tree near the library. I think we're Yeah. After Donald Trump has just come out and said he not like me. Because you and I walk along because I never sit down I wish I was prepared. Maybe YouTube video when this guy, he is not praying. And he goes me finds the website of it's the center of biology. So they studied viruses and because the Coronavirus has so many strains, it's been around for years. They study it in order to prepare for pandemic like this. So they've got that sample to try and kill bite off. And they reckon this guy goes through the website, and he's like, they haven't closed this website down. It was old links to jobs as a job advertised in. June of last year. They wanted a worker to work on the Coronavirus strain that's currently, you know, escaped to test into To try and find a vaccine for it, and then they hired another person, you November. And then it goes on and he shows clips of the lab and he's like, look at the refrigerator that they're holding the viruses in the seals broken and part of its frozen over and it's not like there's not much money going into here and it's a bit dodgy. And then when the outbreak happens mysteriously the two people that they had hired from these job descriptions were deleted off the website, and they're now listed as missing persons. And you're like, what happened? And they reckon that they might have accidentally released it. And then because the live market is only two blocks from the club, arbitrary, they've blamed it on a lie, but who the hell knows? It sounds?
30:52
Have you dug much into the Epstein conspiracy?
31:00
Death oh yeah the the death is not a conspiracy. Oh, I can't well man we got a 24 hour surveillance with bedsheets made of paper kill themselves that just killed
31:20
do you control like what you want like read like does it affect you like obviously like you go in deep Do you then have to be careful how much you're consuming?
31:29
Yes. Yes So I so bizarre what happened with me like I was very left and then I slowly started watching a lot of Joe Rogan and I could feel myself being pulled to the right. And there was a period where
31:46
two months ago,
31:47
well I would put on this is what I would put on the full six broadcast of the 2016 election and I would watch it I'm like, I've watched ABC, CBS, NBC, like, I've watched them all. Because it was just it was so fascinating to watch. Like, Americans go, yay, Hillary. And then in the space of 15 minutes, you know, Trump won these key seats. And the news just shifts and change changed and, and, you know, knowing, hearing all the bad things that Hillary's done and all the bad things that Trump's doing, I think Trump's terrible, He's the worst person to be running. America. I think he needs to go. But it's, but then Oh, God, like it just, I can go really deep. And then I realized I'm really one sided, and you have to sort of force yourself to watch the other side. And when I force myself to watch the other extreme, right? I'm like, Oh, God, I wrote some really valid points. I mean, you've got the extreme left, and I'm like, wow, they raised a really good point. Watch. Clearly they both batshit crazy. Who's in the middle? But no one's in the middle? I think was Bernie Sanders said something like, no one who's in the middle Will any attention because you've got something so insane in order to get any media, and there's a YouTube channel called charisma on command, who in 24, the election it was with Donald, I've done everything. Donald Trump was the nominee, the Republican nominee at that stage. And this guy just through formulas of personality traits. He flat out says Donald Trump is going to win. Okay, and this is a stage where everyone was laughing at that. And the way he said it was, you know, he just says this shit. He doesn't mean half of it, but it's just for media attention and then once it gets old Who gets the nomination and then he'll start. He'll make a catchphrase for Hillary Clinton, which he did, which was crooked Hillary I think. And and he says all this stuff before it happens. And you're like, Oh my gosh, it was a formula for Donald to get it. And it worked. And I think that's what he's sort of doing now with all the crazy press conferences with the bleach with, you know, injecting fichte. And
34:27
he can't be that dumb like, no one becomes president in America can be that.
34:34
Yeah, I mean, it's, it's almost entertainment. Do you think that you actually consume more what's happening in the US and in Australia?
34:43
Yes. Because it's far more entertaining. Yeah. You only came when Scott Marston went to Hawaii because you're like whoa, drama school, the team.
34:56
Come to interesting. Politics is so boring. It's so boring. It's true.
35:04
Pretty boring. He's gonna win the US election this year.
35:11
Trump wants to win.
35:15
He kind of wants everybody you lock him. Not
35:19
only diamond Valley Come on Christian. Not
35:25
because they're not going to care about America anymore.
35:30
Yeah,
35:31
I think I can notice. It really has, like 16 hours. I would watch for a window of
35:40
old footage of 16 election. I mean 16 hours and then I was like, riveted
35:49
to my state thing. Because you know what's gonna happen you're like, oh my god. Do what I gotta say.
35:59
know in the end Sometimes Yeah,
36:02
yeah. Oh do you do this when you watch a film? Do you go to IMDb and read the full synopsis?
36:09
I'm totally gone.
36:12
I literally can't even watch a whole film my attention spans that bad. But
36:17
I like I know what happened that night.
36:20
Yeah, I mean there are people who go crazy on the IMDb like the actors and knowing all the facts and stuff like that. I want to ask you about you your hair cut. Did you did you took a loss in ISO.
36:36
Yeah, yours looks really good.
36:38
Thank you. I think wearing a beanie all day. This is the first time I've sort of taken it off or it was a did it sort of like when you did the whole basket Have you have you had baskets before
36:53
and once accidentally I went into
37:00
Jessica and I said to the woman, I just want short back inside and I had like long hair. And she was like,
37:08
yep.
37:13
me Don't cry, don't cry, cry, please don't cry. That's our thing. And I was like, Oh my god, I was it does
37:23
make your head really round. I think I'm alright because my head's quite flat here. But um, it's a shock. But then it literally took me a couple of hours and I really liked it. Like I knew going into I did a live stream, where I did a Britney breakdown and I was trying to cut my hair to look nice. But I knew the end result would be me shaving it. And I was totally fine with that. A lot of people hated it. And then some people, like I recognized. I was like, Oh, you look like a prisoner.
37:59
every stage of Someone who's gone through the
38:04
two gate.
38:06
There we go when the
38:08
army green
38:11
I think it's the army green. That makes me look like if you watch that on mute, you'd be like, Oh, he's quite masculine. until you hear my voice.
38:21
It's quite aggressive the way that you're doing it as well.
38:24
If you're about to walk up, go off to the army to be like, no, like the aggression that you had with it was like, I want to fuck shit up.
38:34
That No, no, no, okay.
38:39
It's funny. How
38:42
do you think that people have a funny opinion like it people have a very strong opinion when it comes to shaving your head like I was very surprised at people who I would have thought had no investment in my hair, having to point out not Since he's investing, I get I get savings investments that you haven't seen seen since 2012. It's like, oh, like they're doing. Oh my god. It's like, yeah, it's sort of it's a little bit weird.
39:14
It was weird. And I got text from my brother. And why while the livestream was happening, he was like, I could see my phone. He's like, like, are you okay? Please let me know after the stream pink, give me a call. And he was like, he got invested. He was like, you know, Oh, you've missed a big chunk at the back. Oh, that's really cool. And then I think he must have messaged mom and dad started getting text messages from mom.
39:48
You were
39:50
like, I'm having a great time
39:53
or something. He was very concerned. But it's there's something sort of like liberating about it because it's like it's it's your Body, it's your hair, you can do what the fuck you want. Like that's the and I think that's where it's funny when people have a response because they forget that we make these decisions based on what we want to do not for what they care about, you know?
40:15
Yeah. What's like, when you move to a whole new location, can you hear stuff? It's the classic thing when someone saw Okay, girls, maybe guys, you know, they're just completely the joke. And I think but I think that rapid change freaks people out and like, oh, cool Christians not coping very well.
40:35
Right time kind of thing.
40:39
I mean, Britney Spears did an absolutely amazing job around branding that shaving your head and just a calling crazy. It's amazing, really.
40:49
mental breakdown.
40:52
And then her attacking. She attacked the windows, check it umbrella. It was like Ah, it was amazing.
41:00
I think I don't think she recovered from that. She's so just she's still really weird.
41:09
I mean, she doesn't seem really really fit again and was touring and stuff. She rolled her ankle recently. I don't know how. How I know so much about it tonight. She's not
41:20
knows a lot of Brittany.
41:27
I looked I mean, when your business partner pulls a Brittany, you look up britney spears and just get your facts straight before you bring it up. Don't even 42 I Really? I feel like she's painting in my last day. Yeah. Wow. Dude, she's not even 40 it just shows you how long she's been around. Yeah, I mean, she's exactly how long she's been. Yeah, but I bet I think she was so famous when we were so young, but she must have been
42:00
very young. What's wrong with 97? Right now?
42:03
So what's wrong with you? No, I'm just
42:06
there's a there's a video that's been put up of the exact moment she breaks her ankle. around
42:14
those videos for me she was showing it but I was just I just played it hasn't happened yet, but I was just waiting for the moment. So
42:24
look, I'm playing basketball and his snaps in half. Ah. Oh,
42:30
what time you watching these videos at? midnight? What time do you reckon one? You
42:38
just tick tock for just a
42:40
leg just.
42:45
Yeah.
42:48
Christian, thank you for coming on the podcast.
42:51
That's a great way to win. A
42:55
witness we actually think
42:58
it'd be also good to get You on the show when we're not delirious, sort of, you know, one in the morning. And
43:05
you're exactly this time when you're like just doing a recorded as to right now.
43:13
Well, I feel like the last time we had you on the show actually, that wasn't the last time the time before. We were just I was about to go overseas, and it was at your place and we were we'd done six episodes that day. Right and we came to your place and I was so we were both so fucking tired and I just remember just what little what little bitches we were we didn't have the stamina we'd done about three episodes before yours christian i think it was Yeah, it's that runs through
43:42
it just in comparison to today. I mean, we're 20 hours because you're also
43:47
every time I come on.
43:51
Mostly Tommy gets very inquisitive about certain
44:01
At one point
44:04
you're gonna have to weaken
44:12
Yep. And the talk show
44:16
Chris in the green room he was actually putting it together. I appreciated that a lot it's a Christian out on the in the green room. But guys
44:28
yeah, could you just text me the link for me to send to Josh Peterman he'll be extending
44:33
it yeah Charles can say that too. Yeah, he doesn't have the crystal. It's just that one. Yeah. Okay. Great.
