celebrate, do you think there's anyone that's accidentally going to rock up today thinking it's today? I got a message from my mate Tommy day last week saying, hey, mate, still tickets available for tonight. It was a couple of weeks in event. So, Ryan, john said looking forward to Tuesday, and that was last week. So I was hoping I think it'll be fine. I asked no seven. It's like, Oh, well, he said next Tuesday, and then it brought up the whole thing. Yeah. Is it this Tuesday next Tuesday? Yeah, you should
0:42
clarify. Like I just said looking for
0:44
you know what? Really stuffed him. He go to Josh Janssen, Instagram, quickly and read out the post, which he posted on Sunday night. So, if Ryan had last week said that, see you next Tuesday, Sunday night, so stumbled upon post read the post which the the title was or the

have you subscribed to the daily talk show podcast, a lot of epic things are planned for next month. If you'd like to follow along next week we celebrate 500 episodes and head off to LA
1:15
man. We're in that way. They're not celebrating. But Ryan's next week. You heard that on Sunday. That was correct. No, no, definitely not.
1:25
I think it's too risky. It's
1:27
Yeah, it's Sunday the same. But yeah, yeah. But it was I correct and
1:32
it's the classic debate of when does a week diced and what
1:34
do you guys? Monday? That's a Monday.
1:40
Yeah,
1:41
what if so officially, it's Sunday right? Now it's not officially now it is in the calendar. I'm not
1:46
even debating that. But it's Yeah, it's a slightly.
1:50
Yeah, you wouldn't have said two weeks away. I get that.
1:52
Yeah, I get that. So what uh, what are we all wearing, and
1:57
these are only to check the temperature for next Wednesday. Sorry next year. Fuck
2:01
you giving out the wrong information Tuesday, Tuesday.
2:04
Next Tuesday, chief says Monday Jesus guys.
2:08
Yeah. Thanks, Josh. Tuesday next week, Tuesday next week, the 24. That's pretty warm. That's lovely. It's that differently. T shirt t shirt time.
2:19
For seven 7pm or 6pm 22 degrees, lovely. 9pm 17 degrees. So 22 and 17 degrees.
2:27
That's lovely. I'm feeling very accomplished today.
2:30
Yeah. I mean, you were high spirited in the morning, and he's an absolute
2:35
brick wall. What's
2:38
339? So I've sort of I was talking to yesterday about the idea of doing 723
2:45
and what time to get started this morning. Like work wise?
2:50
Well, it depends with the blood tests to the blood test account or not. I think they banked on
2:56
which then it started. It started out yesterday.
2:58
But I had to get it Yeah. I guess I know. Yeah, I get that. And so maybe I'm maybe I'm low based on the lack of blood.
3:05
I mean, I had a blood test today it's my second is not how you feeling Mr. noises?
3:11
I'm good. Is your arm still sore? Like a bit sensitive? Like, oh no, not this one. This one?
3:19
Yeah, I don't think he proper properly told people what happened. So you ended up getting two blood tests? Well,
3:27
I got two blood tests because as I was handing the form to the first nurse who took my blood, and it said, I've noticed it said on their testosterone free and then I went down a rabbit hole that night of what testosterone freeze. And I panicked, panicked and I was like, it's a different test and we got informed that no, it's going to be a different rating if the other boys are just getting the total testosterone measured your
3:54
doctor factor because I spoke to my doctor, and I was sort of lecturing on him like Turning at him at him to him.
4:02
Yeah, I mean always lecture the smartest person in the room and so I was dumb people.
4:09
Just be clear, I want to make sure that I'm getting the right testosterone thing and he said, no one would give get you to test testosterone free. Unless you've had total testosterone tested. Testosterone free. Getting that dialled in is only after the other one. Yeah,
4:25
and use it Why would you want your free one and get it?
4:28
Yeah, I didn't know that. Testosterone the doctor did say when I mentioned the renovation look nice remember how he said yeah, yeah, before it looked like a brothel?
4:38
Yeah, so it was a little bit of a weird unit is if we do it
4:41
anyway, I went back got it done. It's getting the results this week and that will be shared the 500th episode which I packed our boys I did I tell you I went to the athlete's foot to track down Nathan. Because we're gonna ask Nathan Nathan. He doesn't work on weekends. Well Friday nights didn't work. I've seen him since I went up and asked is Nathan working tonight? What you have seen him since I've seen him since in there as I've walked past but I didn't go in and shake his hand. Just say, Matt,
5:13
should we just dm him or No,
5:14
I mean, I mean, that's what I was fine. But I go there quite a bit now because I go to the gym there and over the week, so last Friday night, I mean, I it was date night. It was a bit of like a last minute mom takes body on a Friday afternoon sometimes, you know, picks it off at 3pm from daycare is
5:35
my understanding of date night. She's it's, it's like a pre planned thing.
5:40
So my mom was taken by it and said, and then I said, maybe you could sleep the night there. And then I and then she's like, oh, but you'd have to come in the morning really early. Oh, it come in the morning to pick him up. And she said what time would you like to come and I just highball that. And she great. Because I was like I wouldn't come at nine. But she said are you going Come at like a late you can come at 11 or something like that.
6:04
It's not early
6:05
Friday wakes up at 6am every single day dude.
6:10
So that's why I live in snowy.
6:13
Sorry, sorry. Sorry What I'm trying to say is I high bold meaning went lighter so we could have the most time and agreed to that.
6:23
Yeah, so anyway, but your mom had said she wanted you to pick him up early. No, no.
6:29
Yeah So anyway, you know what I mean? And so mom said mom had him and then we will lock we finally you know I get some time together. So it was it like a last minute What should we do?
6:43
And what did you do?
6:44
Did you go to the the ultimate suburban diet not went to the local charcoal chicken. I gotta serve lackey and we got a little salad at the front we said at the front of the Salafi joint when two calls got a bit of time.
7:01
Then we were describing my evening
7:04
when does the date come in? And then we went to have
7:07
a hot chocolate at max burner Doncaster shopping centre.
7:12
Max Brynn I think
7:14
was another chocolate place there. It was disappointing, but the hot chocolate with southpaw. It was max Brennan would have killed it, but we went into him we will walk through the shopping centre to enjoy it. I enjoyed the time with Amos. We didn't really go into shops, and we were and so that's when I went in to see if Nathan was there
7:35
on date night.
7:36
I was like she she says, I know that. We're here. Should we save Nathan's work? And she's like, yeah, I mean, we're always up to mischief, always trying to. We're always on some mission.
7:47
What do you Yeah, what do you think? 97. If you were to do a date night, and you had to organise one, we know that you're not right.
7:54
I mean, don't do that. That's a four year marriage.
8:01
If I to organise it that night, actually, right you did my hair. She had some great advice. He go to the arcade place near the times on a rink.
8:16
Need. Yeah, yeah,
8:19
yeah. Yeah skating rink. Apparently there's an arcade centre.
8:23
But so what are you trying to prove doing that? I don't
8:28
know. I feel I mean, you not use someone else's can you actually just use some initiative right now and come up with a diet? Not for yourself. But what would you do? What is Mason? Do I know you don't date them?
8:39
I would, I would do exactly what I've done on the previous two dates that I went on or whatever.
8:45
Just cook food.
8:47
Yeah, no, I wouldn't want to go out anywhere.
8:50
What if you're being judged on the date night?
8:55
You always are being judged. Yeah.
9:00
That wouldn't change it It's fine.
9:03
Who's it thinking of them? Are you
9:06
a bit by moment?
9:10
Is there a reason you wouldn't sort of do something that if you were to think what does it go want to do? So your your guys what do you think a girl wants to do? I mean, you gotta guide them but if you just go a pretty safe date night with a girl could be around this What does that look like? And it doesn't include your fucking diets that you how you roll.
9:36
Probably. Well, yeah, you probably going out for dinner somewhere and getting a drink. Yeah,
9:43
yeah, it's always good stuff. Yeah.
9:47
It's been a while since I've done like a proper like, I know I laugh at your
9:53
foot. Yeah. Last one. Before
10:00
I mean we do I think
10:02
your your date night text that you sent me, this is the lightest. You sent me saying the lightest date that you've organised. Was that was that that was about you.
10:14
So
10:14
I know that's it. I mean, so you sent me a text because I was I was staying up late or waiting for some
10:21
you were what you booked in a time for a
10:23
website for the
10:24
website migration. He said, I've just booked him for 10pm and I said that's the lightest date you've ever been on?
10:32
Like that's it I wasn't because I thought that initially and I'm like, God, I don't know what he's talking about. So I just want
10:40
to say foreign to
10:41
you didn't write back.
10:44
Haha. Thanks for doing that.
10:47
Oh god. I've just hit some sort of trigger point and realise so so I cleaned it up. What is a date night for you, JJ. That's why I'm trying to ascertain was last time you went on date night. me to do something most weekends. Yeah,
11:02
I think there's like,
11:04
yeah, I mean maybe, but that's why like you've redefined the date night because you said I've been on a date night like what like you went all out and stuff but then you described you got Chuck or chicken?
11:16
Yeah, yeah, I just got the most suburban date night.
11:21
Yeah, Tiff said suburban life dreams.
11:23
Yeah, I mean the point The thing is, it escapes as well. I mean, I just can't sit and drop and go out for dinner by ourselves and no screaming kid like it really you really do see the and use that term date night like I know you guys go out for dinner all the time and you're always hanging out. So maybe there's a bit different maybe it's
11:43
my gym says OMG says date night this is the content I live for. What drink would you order selves? are you shouting? Yeah, what do you think? What drink good I order?
11:53
I reckon he would shatter.
11:55
Yeah, yeah. Whichever. Because you don't do it enough to be stingy about Yeah, it's not like you and I have one the next week.
12:02
Yeah. What tranquillised order? I don't know, for yourself or for for her is that what James asking for? Now I reckon for myself because I would have no idea what actually I have no idea what to order for both. I think it depends on where you're going. Yeah, well, it's sort of a beachy with a colour. Yeah, it would be something sweet. It wouldn't be.
12:25
It wouldn't be like beer and probably you'd ask what their specials are. Because if you go to a Mexican place, yeah, you wouldn't necessarily have a red wine to the Mexican place fish ball
12:35
depends on if you're in New York did one of those sort of underground Mexican restaurants then you could have a red bar? Yeah.
12:41
I mean, so going on the date night thing if you were to plan something and to give it more thought, what do you think the ultimate date night is?
12:50
I mean, for for us, previous ones have been a really nice restaurant that we like to the fact that problem is that we end up booking the And we get there and we're so exhausted, which is like, it was so tired, because it's like, usually coincides date 90s and I get away from the child. And so unless it's two days away for Flinders FF
13:19
It sounds you don't really, you know, you're not sort of re energise? Yes, actually, that reminds me about three weeks ago Bry got one of these vouchers where you basically, you can use it for a few different restaurants. You heard about these things.
13:38
Now, what is it?
13:39
So it's like, so we've got, it's like, there's a bunch of food places. So you go, it's like a third party company, and someone gave us a voucher. And so then you can use it at that point, like at all, you know, you've got a selection of four different restaurants. And so Bry with we've had this voucher for like, eight months, we praise that we should get We use it. And so we actually used it. It was it was when we just had some public holidays recently. Anyway, grand final night, it was grand final night, went to dinner and got the set menu, got drinks, it's about 170 bucks. Our voucher was 450. And so I was like 20 bucks. That's cool, right? And then Bry said, I should just double check to make sure that this restaurant is definitely on the list. And she pulled out the voucher she's mentioned that now it's not. So
14:38
we still got that. We weren't able to use it.
14:41
70 so lucky that we didn't go through the process of trying to use the voucher.
14:48
That would have been really embarrassing would it be to walk into a place and ask about this special burrito full of avocado workout, you're at the wrong mix. It
15:02
says in quotes Hello I'll have two shots of vodka plays no ice and a straw. Belinda wall says what she said.
15:11
Yeah, I met
15:13
imagine a Flinders FF for the first date
15:19
yeah Jim Oliver
15:21
I mean dates give you anxiety the going to the doctors. For me. I mean part of it was because I was running out of petrol going there and I thought that I was potentially going to miss my appointment yet not even miss my appointment, but just been in a situation where I'm in the middle of a intersection and the car stops as I ever happened to you, but now
15:44
I ran out of fuel, approaching lights and then slowing down and I managed to open the door and start pushing my old praises shit veil Commodore rolled through the lights into the superstar that was the closest I've ever come
15:59
You know? You're really low on petrol when you're at the at the traffic lights and you think that your your steering wheels disengaged or whatever so you do a little
16:11
because you said take the past I
16:13
check the past steering still on. No but the the experience of going to the doctor, it has been no joke, like six years since I went to the doctor.
16:23
Yeah, I mean, I've seen the yesterday we got on a flight to Sydney and I and I hadn't messaged you over the weekend because I was like, I won't know I'm he'll go and booking this
16:35
trip. Did you really think that?
16:37
I gave you the benefit of that? I thought it probably hasn't done it. But I'm not going to message him and say have you done it but
16:41
did say that slack? Was it on Saturday?
16:43
I didn't respond. I didn't personally text message and say, Have you booked in the doctor's appointment? Have you got the referral? And so I asked you and then you got defensive instantly and brought up some other stuff that we need.
17:01
Should on my mind.
17:03
I didn't want to fucking blood test. So the good thing you know, but I think that you are more invested in the testosterone.
17:10
I mean, Mr. 97 as soon as he got it, I need to get it. I need one more person. And then the last person is it's just a joke if
17:19
the funny thing is, is, I was thinking over the weekend, I'm like, how do we position it as content? So I just don't have to like it. It's not that funny
17:28
now. And so, I mean,
17:32
so you booked booked me in for an appointment.
17:36
So I just said Josh called me yesterday and was like, ah, Tommy is booking it in for me,
17:42
booked and so
17:44
luckily though, I couldn't get mad at him. But Tommy deal he submitted the wrong date of birth, when it ran it
17:52
as an online booking form. I literally put my name and I could have put my last name and you could have said all my My work colleague book this for me because I can see it's not your passport that I've submitted for put the wrong night
18:12
to fill in the form when you got there right there's two for nothing. Yeah,
18:15
no, I filled out a Medicare I got mom to take a photo of the Medicare card, the one that's between me and my bro and my family. And yeah, I didn't have to fill out anything. It was great to check the boxes on your previous conditions and still no No, no, that's all through hot doc. Doc, I docs. I Tommy started and I say getting text messages saying you need to complete your new patient form.
18:43
Okay, and then you do that?
18:44
Yeah. Okay. So it all it all worked out. Okay. But now I felt like the guy The doctor was asking me questions. And I just I didn't know when to stop in regards to information and because he's the first time I've Same him. I started giving him so much context.
19:05
I'm sorry, but you do that when you're nervous or like, or like awkward. It's not you're not even nervous. You get when you're in an awkward situation. You can tell you just
19:13
asking questions. I asked him, I said
19:17
it day
19:23
actually saw him. I was waiting for him when he arrived. Like I saw him. Yeah. But no, I asked things like, Is everyone going vegetarian? He said, Yes, it's good. And then the one thing he said that was interesting because I tried to get the vitamin D yet, and he was looking through what Medicare covers. And he's like, unless you've got a bone condition. They won't do it based on it costs more, to get the test that does happen. Just take vitamin D tablet.
20:01
Yeah and that's the gronk that initially gave me the blood test. But he was saying that Australia acid look that he didn't Did you ever find it? It was how much Australia
20:13
hundred and $50 million with no there's no point getting it done coming out of winter either because everyone's got a deficiency and
20:22
it was so I did get into I went through everything I showed him my toe before blow because the thing is that he didn't actually say anything he wasn't like are because I said that the last doctor factor because he didn't cut the actual like they didn't kill the the future growth so it keeps the in gronk keeps growing.
20:44
I mean these people here people self diagnosing every single day mentioned I'd love to speak to a doctor on the show, not the clinic but just about what they're up against. is like the people like the good Doctors
21:01
of this world virtual doctors Yeah, yeah. Well, the funny thing is you had said to me you were like, just don't give him much information. Just say the minimum amount of information. Just say, I want to get a testosterone before, you know, I said,
21:16
he says,
21:19
I'm like, I'm a bit tired. You know, it says anything else I might, and I'm a bit depressed. And so then I thought fucking midway through my Am I gonna walk away with one of those like the 10 sessions, the mental health, I should have matched it. I just kept going with it.
21:38
How much can you batch with a doctor? Like how much can you go out and I'm looking for this and I'm going, Wow, I need this referral. And I need this.
21:44
Well, that's what I was sort of saying to I was saying to him, I'm like, Look, I haven't been here in six years. Let's just try and do a few of them and then he's like, okay, I would and then I panicked. Because he said are so yet, we're just going to need you to find asked this for the blood test and my mic and I just had to quickly think on my feet I might work for me yeah as I look, I've been to a doctor in six years I want this to be really easy. Can we just like what can we just do now so that I have to fast so we just take a few boxes Is that okay? He go But the other thing you did was the thing that I hate the most I don't mind blood tests. But the high What did they call pressure blood pressure monitor made his sleeve on your ass the
22:34
most inaccurate way to measure your blood pressure that could possibly use why that's true. why everyone's got high blood pressure when you got something pumping on your arm
22:48
now that died. Josh does Yeah, cuz you got fucking high blood pressure. This
22:57
is your blood pressure. Hi.
22:59
Hey, You are now challenging the technology that has been used that he's used around the globe
23:05
yet I was the one that predicted Fitbit to do this. I think that is going to be a better Why don't you think?
23:10
What do you mean
23:12
to put the best bit ones I then asked him and go what does that actually do? I think he's probably he's whole entire career because I looked him up. Right. So before I went in, I was like, what's what's he into? He went to the University of Auckland or whatever. It was KV Yeah. k way. Like Asian Kiwi. Start like Asian who studied in New Zealand. Yeah. But then I was like, What is he into? And literally they say it's like, he he likes some looking after like Men's Health. So I thought that's good testosterone that's like connection. And it said he also enjoys like cutting out lesions. And so that's why enjoyment. And so that's why I mentioned the toenail thing because I thought that
23:59
this is Don't ever take any of this approach to a date, like, like your pre research building the storey around what you need to then have the conversation around is outrageous.
24:12
So then he so he took my blood pressure, he said it was high. I said, Well, my petrol nearly ran out and have had a coffee. The coffee death. Yeah. And then so he got me to put my arm up. And then like, wait a bit, and then do that. And so that was all fine like I got because I didn't actually know whether this is true or not. But you were sort of being like, if they think that we're just doing this all for content. We might not get it through Medicare, because they'll be like, you guys are taking the piss and they won't do it. I mean, maybe it's what you're saying. And so I had become hyper aware of that. So I felt like through my whole fucking doctor's appointment, I'm suddenly a liar. But then I got the piece of paper. I walked out and so he I'm not good at following instructions. So he said to me, he was like, so now Just go and like if you guys got a podiatrist he said yes sir. No. What's it called? pathologist fella just yeah. He said just go to reception. You take a number and Tinkerbell right? But I was too busy reading all the like the details the test is
25:17
non
25:19
to repeat it so he actually opened the door and showed me what to do which was lovely. But then as that was happening, I was greeted by the coconut crew Andre who is missing is that one of Miss nice sevens best mates. I've never met him before. And he was just sitting there you know what it looks like though? Yeah, Yeah, I do. Okay, sorry. distinct features like you can't miss him. I there was no there was no like, oh my god is that Andre? nationality is Indonesian.
25:51
Can you better say great. That's a nice, yeah, Jay.
25:58
has to be thought of his Spanish. In a bit more than a Indonesian What do you mean? peaches prefers the Spanish Spanish Nana
26:09
salad in if you're not Spanish, but he's It was KC coconut crew thing The funny thing is though, I said, Do you have any travel plans? Yes, I'd like to go to Spain and learn the language.
26:20
So let's go back to my way.
26:23
But no so he he was sitting there first mistake went up. Oh my god Hey. And then he introduced himself but I know who he is so I don't introduce myself by shook his hand and I thought, oh that I don't think you meant to shake people's hand hand at a doctor's
26:42
effect I've showed I showed the doctors hand when I shook the doctors and
26:45
really yeah, I literally didn't based on
26:48
your to see your brother like somebody that you love.
26:51
So I should have heart hug to the doctor.
26:54
If you love the doctor
26:57
or a family friend,
26:58
give him a kiss and so I will I was thinking, I was like, do I shake the guy's hand but I thought, you know what he would be dealing with all like people being sick as a doctor, would you? Would you want to be shaking people's hands? Yeah, it's a it's a, it's a part of your job. Like, you're we think that being a doctor part of your job is shaking people's hands. Yeah.
27:18
Like, I'm always surprised. Like, I remember. You remember they like, sometimes it depends on when they put gloves on. And when are they gonna put gloves on? Like,
27:29
me? It depends what they're doing.
27:32
Yeah, I'm just trying to think of it like if I've had an inspection,
27:35
but sort of it's interesting, isn't it? Because like your expert like you like definitely shake their hand. It definitely intimacy point of view. But then you're criticising me for knowing what you need. He went to him what he enjoys.
27:47
one's got no thought ones just like, you're trying to you're not on a speed date, bro. And so no fucking blind date. We've tried to ask a few questions before to get big, preempting what this date could be.
28:00
But what he didn't realise was I was setting him up to be my family, my new family because I have the cafe I go to heritage wall, which is in Camberwell. This this bowl and medical centre is close by to that right.
28:16
But really, it's like within two kilometres. That's closer than Yeah, you are now.
28:19
And so I just thought I'm sort of creating essential services
28:24
cafe living living that you mentioned. NQ
28:29
Yeah, go to Campbell. I don't think I don't think you would be my damn well, maybe Camberwell. Maybe ash Williams mom lives there. Yeah. So maybe I could hang out Sydney and so anyway, but then when I shook his hand, he said, Are you getting your testosterone tested?
28:53
Yeah, he's loud. And I felt rude to be sad saying I man I'm just he
28:58
was like, But where was the doctor at this point?
29:00
I think he's doorway like he just sort of stopped walking off his door was stoned by God and so
29:06
he's creating a saying That's so annoying and he said your heart was just rice and blood pressure that's already high and he's thinking
29:16
and so then there's the whole thing of
29:20
there's one thing to just say sup meet someone and I think if I meet someone on the street quite good meeting someone within a full doctors surgery, like a sort of like an outside
29:31
area when you're trying to get a test. like
29:35
yeah, we try to fly under the radar. Yeah.
29:38
The thing is that I'm just trying to keep I'm trying to move as far away from medical stuff as possible. That's why I'm like oh, you know, if you were to live any like you to travel somewhere, where would you travel? And just those types of things can we find at
29:51
for tomorrow show? What Andres experience was.
29:56
I saw I saw Andre on the way out because he dropped whatever size waiting for Josh, I
30:01
made the mistake. So he needed support. So this is the whole thing. So 97 leaves like a 35 minute walk. Yeah, yeah. And so my appointment was at 830. missing. 97 normally gets into work at like 915. And so I said to him, I'm like, Hey, why don't you walk to the doctor surgery? And then I can drive you in to work. But the thing was that everything took way longer. So I didn't get out of there until 930. But what did and so I saw your made Andre. Yeah. What did he say? What did he say? The other thing he said, though, by the way, is after I've had this conversation he's led with you get your testosterone tested or something. As he was walking off, he said, nice to meet you, man. What the fuck this guy knows about the testosterone anything he doesn't know. Anyway, so what was Andre I'll have to get a full day brief but
31:00
For what Andre said he was rattled. He was ready he was ready he was rattled was rattled that he saw you in there
31:06
well I didn't know whether I wanted to find out what he was going in there for but is that a big no no if you're the doctor surgery can you ever say Hey, why are you in there? I saw
31:15
I started guide a hospital sorry go to hospital. I avoid it because it's like a body you here for my you know my fucking
31:26
Yeah, but this is JP though.
31:28
Still, you could be there to get your balls tested.
31:31
I mean, that's you know, you could be there to get a finger. But what is a good outcome for someone saying hi white, the JP good outcome. I'm I'm doing some body hacking and trying to increase my athleticism.
31:47
We're all sticky bags.
31:48
Yeah, I'm not. I'm a sticky bacon regards to difference between this point if I know if I could find out that information without having to speak to them about it.
32:00
Finding a
32:01
piece of paper if there's a piece of paper and it said, you know, coconut crow Andre on it, and I could read that information and find out all the stuff, of course,
32:10
yeah. on the plane last night, can we have a road CD? I just because I turned off the lights. It was a nighttime flight and I was looking because there was beaming computer screen light coming through the seat. You know, I said the best things on point. And so I started looking. And I was just really intrigued by this woman who was small, so dark hair and it's trying to work out I couldn't really see how old she was. And I was trying to understand what's she doing on a computer like got out her classic like Microsoft note. I was like corporate business. Then I started writing or a mouse because she was just doing it for the dark. so confusing, gave me absolute anxiety of what it'd be like to work in a big business. I got a sense she might have been in law or finance. She was dealing With big budgets on projects, and there was all these people riding passive a mass, like
33:05
I got into the passive, you
33:06
know, like the, you know, and people sort of like, outline very specifically. He's, he's watching aid and this this and this. I know sometimes I was just gauging,
33:18
you turn that clear communication and yeah,
33:22
yeah but it's even like, you know when you work in a big business and click is kind of get your fucking motivation but I also when you understand when someone's like, I'm talking to you like a dummy because you don't understand this so he's a he's be and he's see now you know like there was very very much that styles and it just gave me shivers of working in big business using Microsoft Outlook outlook and she's on applying there's no Wi Fi and she's, you know like having to digest like 70 emails before she gets off. Like oh, really I had to disconnect As I was in Texas, like speaking of payday from finance,
34:04
yeah, well, even on the way there, there was a guy. And I look over, I look over so the way that Tommy is booked our seats, is we're both in the aisle classic. If you're travelling with somebody, don't get a seat next to each other. Get I'll see them next to each other. And it's
34:24
into that, did you I think, my son and I would do it when we're travelling.
34:30
Solo because you can just have a bit of a breather,
34:32
you can talk like you actually, you then have a good amount of space to be able to sort of talked to one another forgot, I'm sorry, I have no dialogue and also have good banter with better banter with the people who are on the cards is because you can sort of talk in a sort of a triangular so I think anyway, so I turn a look over. And Tommy has he's a guy sleeping and Tommy has his hand on the guy's leg. I was like what the clock is going on. And I like it. I actually had to look at who like who is he touching? And then he was sort of like pointing at ease the guy's Cup and the guy has a full coffee cup with I think my spring tea or coffee or something but it was like milk and it was like full like completely full. And Tommy was sort of gesturing saying guys like he's leg is knocking it right yeah, cuz
35:25
he was like, it was a slave. He had noise cancelling headphones and he was having night
35:29
terrors.
35:31
And he's knee would knock on the tray table and the water the full thing I'm like, is this is
35:37
and so Tommy's like watch like just watch it was like Okay, anyway, we're about to land and the flight attendant is walking past sees the guy doesn't have a he still has his tray table down if the drink. I felt that in that moment. She should have just picked up the drink and then woken him up. And said Hi we're just putting up your tray table instead she touched him on the shoulder Hey then reacts Lyft sees nays and the dream just goes everywhere. The whole world cup
36:14
Oh, boy WD go on you told me that
36:18
Josh Like what? This this is going to happen and so I
36:26
so like so avoidable.
36:27
Yeah. And so it got me thinking like should I have done something like should we have done something probably should have I should have got the worst thing for that blow. He's probably blaming it all on me because I got a cup of tea. That's right. We didn't use all of our vouchers we had to 10 back vouchers between us.
36:43
I didn't understand that system will
36:46
never fly jets. Jets down. We got given $10 vouchers for our tickets to spend 20 bucks to spend on the plane and the plane. So I got a cup of tea Josh got water, and then I
36:58
didn't use all of our food stamps. That was all of them.
37:01
Yeah, I didn't use all of them and I said anyone around us wanted to cup of tea. And he wakes up and says, Yeah, I haven't
37:10
regretted that one. He must have been doing okay though, because Microsoft headphones potentially the noise cancelling. Yeah, they quite good. They're sort of the new instead of Bose that's what people are getting any you can actually you can use a dial to turn off how much like you can dial in and dial at how much noise cancellation you want to go which is built into the headphones on you just like twist it. Yeah. So So Linda says nobody likes an entertainment God voucher use those golden coupon books or direct path to dating hell.
37:43
Julie says doctors and other clinicians shake patient's hands all the time. Yeah, I think Christ just joined.
37:49
Hi guys, so maybe I should stop. Maybe he thinks I'm murdered
37:53
for not shaking his head. Anything really matters. I can't remember if I
37:57
he was coughing a lot before I went in there. I heard coughing up. So I
38:04
think we're onto winners at that clinic because I got a sweet sweet lady. And I just I was really annoyed. I didn't tell her that she did a good job. I wanted to tell her that she has a very kind smile. And I and she made me feel nice when I walked in. But I didn't tell her I was so annoyed. Yeah, cuz I was like fucking she just gave me this test. referral. And I really wanted to tell her that she because I saw how she interacted with the previous woman and the previous the previous person
38:31
who had to say that
38:32
sitting in the waiting room and she didn't
38:34
see them. She came out and walked in you the first year the first two or three Yeah,
38:39
the first time she comes out to greet us you don't walk in next and they walk in. She comes and says Mrs. Blah blah blah. And then got up and they had this really nice and she put her hand on her and how I other as you want a nice warm Dr. You don't want Yeah,
38:55
in the pathologist has an interesting job because they just Trying to gauge was your pathologist trying to gauge whether you were okay with needles?
39:07
I think it's I think they just quickly throw out a few things but some maybe more. I mean, maybe you're the big baby that they have seen Cameron for
39:15
97 heads a lot.
39:17
We got a squealer and a hand and sit nice oh, I was also she said well said The thing is, you know why she probably asked because as soon as I was waiting, like half an hour, and then as soon as I went it, I didn't want to I had to the referral and the card in my hand. I was busting to piss. But I didn't want to take that with me and potentially lose my spot. And so I was like, you know what I'm going to do because the blood test is gonna I'm not gonna be able to concentrate if I get my blood. And so as soon as I walked in, I said, Do you mind if I way quickly, but for whatever reason she can comprehend what else I think. So I saying all Can I just quickly go to the bathroom and so maybe That was the thing and so she did she was asking some questions she said, Have you um
40:06
what was the last time you had a blood test? I said well maybe like 10 years. She was blown away by that. Anyway, so I
40:15
I said oh no, I should be fine. I said I'll just like I look at it. And then like, just into this routine she was just like so how's the weather and it just caught me off guard because I might are like it I went so focused on the feeling of the the NATO because like she's always set me up. It's like, you're trying to get me over here. But now I'm thinking of is like what you're actually doing. And so then I was like, Ah, it's like it's cloudy. But she knows cuz she just fucking came in. But maybe she got you at that point because he that actually worked. Then and then so I remember my doctor pinching me when I was a kid. As a way of like getting a
40:59
sensation. Yeah.
41:00
pinches you on your fuckin and so I started just pinching myself. It she's doing this and then she's like oh, it's meant to be blue skies later in the week was that this is fucking horrendous. And then so I said I was like I was hearing the sound of my blood squirting into the viral which I'd never heard in my life. I was like, ah, I get I'm like I guess you have to like talk so that I don't hear the squirting. And then and then I was like a hot and you know what? I've never fainted before, but I feel like if I talk about it too much maybe that sets people often say I was like, Oh, I'm off to LA next week.
41:45
But it's almost like this Olympic game of like improv and then she's like, Oh, yeah, how are the flats is like other under thousand dollars. And she's like, odd thinking of going and, and, and I was like, Oh yeah, you should go We just had to fucking start with a talk. Yeah, man. When I left when I left, I said to her, I said, you should definitely book those out. lifelock say, she was like, I think she'd forgotten that we spoke. So just a bit weird, but then I asked it like, I was like, do I have to get a reception again? She's like, no, that's it.
42:19
That's it. I asked as well. Other thing is
42:21
why these things are not clear.
42:24
Well, because it feels weird just going in and not paying anything.
42:27
But also like Europe car. We went to Europe copy, like, yesterday to get a car in Sydney. And it wasn't clear Wilmington, like there were the people, three people lined up. And then there was another counter. But there was there was no car back. No, not to drop the car back to get a car. And so I find all these things very confusing, guys. Just make it easy. Just communicate. Tell me where to stand. Yeah,
42:56
but Belinda just said once I had a pathologist with a bug Come it. Come at come at me. No shit. I was severely dehydrated at the time too. Needless to say it did not end well. My arm was black, yellow and blue for four weeks on nights.
43:12
I did I was asking about like, I asked those questions like, how my veins?
43:18
Do you ask that stuff or no? No. How can she say you
43:24
don't need to talk, doing stuff. But also I was doing that if I didn't talk. How's the weather? I just
43:32
It's fine. It's spring. You don't have to talk. You talking to your awkward
43:39
Tokyo building fucking rebel with a person that you forget and 44 seconds. next minute she's in LA. She's in a she's got two tickets to Kanye. And she's like you. I remember this. He knew she had died. I mean, now I'd probably say Tommy lexicon Yeah, more. Appreciate it. And then 97 and I would go the chicken shopping only get to Bali.
44:12
Just want to finish it off with a compliment that's come from my wife famous. Not fully URI. disappointing.
44:21
97 is getting it like I asked him to put together what we've done in the last like from Episode 400 to 500 it's like, oh, my fashion show. My hair bleach. Yeah. My mind my mind. Yeah.
44:38
I'll tell you what, though. It's paying off. Amy said and I totally agree. Amy said it's not a seven is completely come out of your shell. Like I
44:46
think you will, you know, you come a long way I cracked him but
44:49
she was laughing and he's jokes. He laughing at him interacting interrupted. I love it. She says I was really sort of injecting in them. You know coming in with stuff Say as a Yeah, because we fucking tell it can't even give it to me. It's fair we saying yell at us. Yeah, bringing
45:08
someone comments on it. you interrupt me. Yeah. But you've done a great job today.
45:13
It still feels weird. Just like interrupting. I feel like I'm going to disrupt the flow.
45:16
No, there is no flow.
45:20
domination.
45:21
But yeah, so that's come through my son I and I, and I tend to agree. I said he's actually really funny.
45:28
He said something funny the other day. What was it? It wasn't even You are my mom loved Friday's episode. Fridays where we were talking about Tommy got you the
45:40
vegetarianism annoying episode.
45:44
Talking about a good you would be in a tribe?
45:46
Yeah. I think I mean, that
45:51
actually shows how funny we thought it was because I remember he doesn't listen that often. But I did retell that instals
46:01
Imma mix it in with some right.
46:03
Linda said you can feel it when they can't see your veins. Oh, yeah. All the way around for some that yet again, by the way minute terrible at needles period.
46:15
Who said that Belinda? Interesting? Oh, yeah, I mean, it's not something I would want to get done, but I did get me thinking one of the organised August things was to get it to give blood. And I heard a very powerful radio ad yesterday, where a guy's like, I need your blood. And then he's like, but like, I'm not a patient. I'm someone who gives blood every fucking two weeks or whatever. And he's like, blood only lasts 45 days has to be used in 45 days. And so he's like, help me out. Give blood also. And I was like, Oh, that was a really good.
46:55
It was very practical. Yeah. But now we're going to book it in. So
47:00
Yeah so much IT admin future we
47:02
should do it
47:04
although it and then you guys probably end up wanting to do it
47:07
but I've heard that the needles are bigger but who cares we're saving people's lives yeah
47:13
I still have too many paint panic attacks to do that.
47:16
