Josh Janssen: [00:00:00] It's the daily talk show episode 915
Tommy Jackett: [00:00:07] happy Monday grog. So what's happening? What is going on?
Josh Janssen: [00:00:11] Are you feeling fresh? You, uh, you went away on the weekend.
Tommy Jackett: [00:00:15] Yeah, went away. It was nice. Um, it was quite hot last night. So I had, you know, when you wake up and you feel like a bit dry after a sort of hot nights sleep had the air con worked out that our house, there's only one air-con problem in the modern day, but if you open the double doors in our lounge room, it, you can feel it come through, wrapped around the door and it just comes into our room, which is lovely.
Oh, that's great. So, um, No, but feeling, feeling good, feeling good, had a great weekend away. I thought, um, rather than sort of tell you all my highlights, I'll tell you some of the low lights, but I'll tell you. And th they're mostly about Bodhi, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to replace the term son or my son Bodhi or Bodhi with my housemate, just for a bit of fun.
So I'm going to refer to my son is my housemate. Um, so I'll wait and we'll kickstart today. Before we get back into previous. Uh, so over the weekend. So I woke up this morning, my housemate pissed on the seat and the toilet seat, uh, did he didn't walk it up. And then my housemate goes into my room and goes over to my wife's bedside table and drinks her smoothie, the whole thing.
Josh Janssen: [00:01:26] Yeah,
Tommy Jackett: [00:01:28] he's a
Josh Janssen: [00:01:29] dog.
Tommy Jackett: [00:01:31] Another one is yeah. Yeah. Woke up. My housemate had, um, had, he's been bitten by mosquitoes and he's been scratching them and it's there's blood on his shades. The worst thing about my housemate. He doesn't know how to use the washing machine. So I have to wash the Gronk sheets.
Josh Janssen: [00:01:47] You went away with your housemate on the weekend.
What was that like?
Tommy Jackett: [00:01:51] Oh, yeah, it was great. I mean, it was great. I made him, I made my housemate bacon and eggs one morning. Like these real rolls, he never cooks. He's so lazy like that. And I, um, I made them and I brought them over, set it on the table. He looks at it and says, I don't like these. And then he opens it up and says, I don't like egg.
I don't like bacon. And then he licked the sauce and walked off.
Josh Janssen: [00:02:18] Is this newsy? Has he always not liked egg and bacon?
Tommy Jackett: [00:02:23] I think it was just that day, because the following day I made him the same one and he ate it. Surprisingly, I was, I just was, you know, fingers crossed. I hope he doesn't realize it. Another one was, I was, um, we were, because we went down to Mount Martha.
Down the peninsula and it's, it's nice. It's like a little, it feels like a little coastal town. I mean, it's on the Bay. It's not ocean, but it's has that definitely coastal surfy vibe, but without the surf, um, great little IGA went into IGA and my housemate, he didn't have any money and he wanted me to buy him some chips.
And so I was like, all right, it's your packet of chips? I just said, look. Uh, w let's just, uh, he wanted to eat them in the shop and I didn't want him to eat them in shops. So I said, let's just scan it through, scan it through as I've scanned it through, I put the bag down, my house might grab the chips and ran out the front, run out the door of the shopping center and I'm by myself.
So I, and then my phone fucking, I couldn't pay, there was something going on. So took 20 seconds paid. I went at the front, my housemate's gone. He's he's done a runner. The little dog has done a runner when I, um, or I couldn't find him for a little bit. And then I ran down the street and saw him way up. And then I got to him.
I said to my housemate, why did you run off on me? She said, I wanted to go dancing.
Josh Janssen: [00:03:48] Cause he don't get relational awareness.
Tommy Jackett: [00:03:52] Um,
Josh Janssen: [00:03:52] does he seen cars?
Tommy Jackett: [00:03:55] Yeah. He sees them. Yeah. Does he know about the dangers of them? Not sure. Not sure. Like he know what I mean. I always tell my housemate cars are dangerous. You could get squashed by
Josh Janssen: [00:04:09] a car.
Don't you think that there's always like, I remember in primary school, I don't know if this was. Every primary school, but I feel like there was always one kid who'd been hit by a car out the front and you would know, cause I would have like, um, metal, like, like coming out of their head or what like,
Tommy Jackett: [00:04:30] did you ever have that?
No, but I've seen so sad. Anytime you do say that it's the, um, Oh, there's a term for them. Something of life like there. Yeah. It's basically like screws into the side of your head. Front and back. So you can't move your neck whatsoever
Josh Janssen: [00:04:46] so bad. So anyway, yeah. In primary school, we can, I remember one girl. I think Katie was her name who ran across the road together, a basketball bang.
Oh God. And so that, like, that's the thing that I worry about when I think about your housemate in believing the stories. Is he going to notice the car?
Tommy Jackett: [00:05:05] Well, no, he's pretty good. Like he's never done it. And you just hope that he's not going to. And so, I mean, but this is thing split second, and it's like at a music festival with your friend, you lose them, your housemate, you just, I run out of the supermarket.
They're gone anyway. The worst bit was, um, he, I caught my housemate. Almost about to take a shit in the garden of this holiday house while staying at
Josh Janssen: [00:05:32] I'm going to get me on this guy.
Tommy Jackett: [00:05:34] Look, you know, we've started to sweat short term lace. It's called life hard to get him gone.
Josh Janssen: [00:05:41] What do you say when you see him going to take a dump in the backyard? What do you say?
Tommy Jackett: [00:05:47] What, what are you doing? He's just denying, denying. Come on. I just had to get him inside. I have to get him inside.
You
Josh Janssen: [00:05:55] know, why do you think he was? What was, what was he wanting to? So is it, I need to go to the toilet, but I don't want to use the toilet
Tommy Jackett: [00:06:04] NATS fan. I think it's fine. Okay.
Josh Janssen: [00:06:06] Sure
Tommy Jackett: [00:06:07] he has had some fun outside. He likes, I mean, my aspect and I liked to do ways outside. It's fun. It's different. It's something, it's, it's something about it.
There's something really like if I was camp, you know, camping in the bushes, like there's something about just doing ways outside that we both love and get around. But, um, you know, I've got an understanding of when it's right and wrong, my housemate does it.
Josh Janssen: [00:06:33] So what was the highlight? What, what, what was the best thing about getting away?
Tommy Jackett: [00:06:37] Oh, I just, w w uh, we had a beach day on Saturday. Amy, Amy stayed at the house and sorta w had a nap, which was nice. She could have that. And then we, um, Brody and I, uh, we went to, I don't want to keep calling my husband, but we'd know we went to numb. When stand up, paddle boarding and a real dad, he's a thing.
Debate
Josh Janssen: [00:07:00] those boards at the place you're staying, or did you have to rent them or
Tommy Jackett: [00:07:04] no, we're at a, um, a beach box and sounds right on the, on, you know, it's on the sand. Um, so I didn't have to take it from the house, which was good. He was like, take it out of the beach box, you know, 30 minutes to 20 minutes to the water, and then there we go.
But, um, it was awesome. And here's the thing. We, there was two days on the weekend. I look at the weather, I'm like, fuck Sunday, hot. It's going to meet thirties. That's a beach day. And then I was like, ah, you know what? SA Sunday. Annoying. Like when you do your beach day and then you've got to go home and it's just, like you've
Josh Janssen: [00:07:39] said
Tommy Jackett: [00:07:39] in the car tack you out.
And so Saturday woke up beautiful. It was like magnificent weather. Not hot, but the sun was out and as the day went on, it got warm, but it wasn't stinking hot perfect for taking a kid to the beach. So they're not, you know, just baking, just baking the water. But, um, so we, we ended up just, yeah, it was kind of impromptu.
We didn't know we're going to do that, buddy. And I just had a ripper time, this, you know, sitting there and then we went and had fish and chips at the beach box that night I was sick.
Josh Janssen: [00:08:16] And so boarding stuff. How long do you think you were actually out there on the waterfall?
Tommy Jackett: [00:08:22] Oh, 10 minutes with a kid life jacket on him and I couldn't stay, I wasn't standing up on it.
I was nearly on the paddleboard boat. He's like lying flat at the front of it. It was a big one, but I got up and I was like, ah, fucking, I can't. I, I can look after myself if I fall in, he doesn't know how to swim. And so I was like, kneeling is the best option, but we had a great time just pedal boarding around.
Um, but then Saturday night, the thing about, you know, when you, you want fro, you know, you want like, I don't, I don't eat fried fish. HAPE like, I, it reminds me of a kid getting flake fried flake
Josh Janssen: [00:09:03] from the chip shop, adults, get flight going home. Like,
Tommy Jackett: [00:09:07] no, no, no, I get flake still, but I usually. I usually go to the other side, I go to, hunky-dory sort of the frog I go, I go with my fried stuff of that dish will be in chips or cake or something.
I didn't go to the fish. I'm like, Oh fuck. I went full fried on Saturday night. Was it
Josh Janssen: [00:09:23] from, or was it because I've only. Discovered sort of crumbed fried fish in recent years. That's really good. That's like, it's almost like a schnitzel.
Tommy Jackett: [00:09:36] Well, it's like, you feel like naughty thing going a full sort of battery, deep
Josh Janssen: [00:09:42] fried.
I, I like it more. I like it more sort of fried crumb thing. And so you had a piece of flake. What else
Tommy Jackett: [00:09:48] did you have a DME? No, I had a scallop, uh, uh, Kalahari. Chips. Spiddles all fried and it was everything that you'd ever want in something that you've ordered fried. And so you picked it up
Josh Janssen: [00:10:03] from the fish and chip shop.
Tommy Jackett: [00:10:06] I mean the water business, I mean, in the worst possible way, like they, you know, they do a lot, it's like a old school fish and chip hurry. That's just saying, you know, there's no. Seems like there's no rhyme or reason what's happening. There's a Bay Murray full of orders that are wrapped and now one's yelling at names.
And
Josh Janssen: [00:10:26] did you find it in, like, did you call first or did you, you did the order. Okay.
Tommy Jackett: [00:10:33] Which was, that was, uh, a punt, um, and went in an audit, but it worked out fine, but this lady next to me, Had been waiting as long as I had and her order had been there, she just hadn't said anything. Oh no, they must've read it.
I must have said it. But then she went over and said, Oh, have you got the buy? Like at the very end? And then, yeah,
Josh Janssen: [00:10:55] it is upsetting when that stuff happens and you see it, like I'm one to be cross everyone's order. In the actual, because I'm so concerned that I'm going to forget mine or they're going to give me the wrong one.
It's like my, uh, COVID was all just sort of taking off. And, um, it was about to go viral and yeah, it went hard. Yeah. And, uh, yeah, someone, a couple got our coffees, grabbed our coffees and went to their car and I knew that was our coffee and said they had to, and then they will go in and give us back. The cough, like, I think they'd nearly put their lips on it.
It's like, come on guys.
Tommy Jackett: [00:11:36] I mean, I've sipped someone's coffee at a cafe before by accident. Like it's annoying, like a big, but I'd been handed something and
Josh Janssen: [00:11:44] your coffee at that point.
Tommy Jackett: [00:11:46] Oh, yeah, you've got to take it. You got to own it. Is there anything your housemate did that over the weekend that, uh, got to you?
I mean, you could go the opposite. Your house might did some really nice stuff.
Josh Janssen: [00:12:00] Uh, um, like I down, let's not worry about cleaning and she said I'll, um, clean just a little bit, but I won't mop. For you now at the maps out. And she's like, I just liked the smell. I feel it'll be quick. What's up what I said. I told her not to and she did it.
So that was annoying. Um, uh, yeah. What else is my housemate? Dan,
Tommy Jackett: [00:12:24] did you get a car? Did your house? My buy your coffee on Saturday morning just in bed?
Josh Janssen: [00:12:28] Yeah, no, actually the, um, my housemate got me coffee this morning. She's got the day off today. And, um, she's going, uh, to see our family in the, um, in the suburbs.
Anyway, I, uh, she went and got me coffee. I went downstairs, collected it from her, and then she went to the suburbs. I didn't have to go to the cafe. I should at 2021, like new year's resolution. This is a good time. It's ridiculous to think about talking. Don't you think? It sounds absolutely absurd. So talk about new year's resolutions.
Tommy Jackett: [00:13:05] We're 14 and 15 days off December one. I did think this morning, literally in my mind, I was like, what if we did? What if we, cause it's too obvious to do the, you know, knees, knees, content, like the news resolutions content within January. What about if you go December one, you say it like the new year's resolutions.
Um, I mean, the thing that comes into play for most people is like, yeah, but I wanna just sort of let loose
Josh Janssen: [00:13:32] over the Christmas break. Yeah, no, I think it's different, but like, I feel potentially, I don't know, however everyone else is feeling, but it's going to be a little bit different where it's like I've been indulging and just being a bit loose.
Um, all year. So I feel like I want, I want like family, friends, all that sort of thing, but, but also a little bit of structure.
Tommy Jackett: [00:13:54] Yeah, definitely. I mean, most people's here have been, has probably been pretty outrageous just in terms of routine rattling of routine. Yeah. It's unlike any other year. I mean, this is it's pain.
Like I said, we were talking about the. When we, when you first, I wonder when the first mention of COVID-19 or coronavirus, cause everyone was calling it coronavirus. The stat was on the show and it was
Josh Janssen: [00:14:25] when we had Jordan Michael ladies on
Tommy Jackett: [00:14:27] New York. And that was it.
Josh Janssen: [00:14:29] That was, when was that? That was, that was in January, I think.
Tommy Jackett: [00:14:34] Was it? Well, we had, um, . We had buddy's third birthday in February, his birthday's on the 14th and a guy who was at bodies' party had quarantined. He'd been in Wu Han. One of the kids, dad works in logistics and was over in hunt. And so he he'd done the quarantine. So we were talking, I was curious and just chatting to him about it.
What was going on? Like, what was it like over there? And so that was so early though, that was. Fair, but then it was, it seemed like it really just came hard and then it's
Josh Janssen: [00:15:10] like, we haven't speed yet, but we haven't spoken about Wu Han in a long time. I know.
Tommy Jackett: [00:15:17] Yeah.
Josh Janssen: [00:15:19] I, I'm
Tommy Jackett: [00:15:21] not doing as bad as most of them around the world.
They went pretty hard.
Josh Janssen: [00:15:26] So December one, do you want to do a bit of a new year's resolution sort of episode?
Tommy Jackett: [00:15:31] Yeah, I reckon, I reckon that's when it's, it's too obvious outside of that. And I think it's like a good way to at least start embedding in your mind. Oh, that's perfect. Uh, Tuesday, December one is a Tuesday.
Great. Um, embed them in your mind for the rest of the month. At least sorta you have a little, the thing about it is it's like saying I'll eat shit over the weekend. That Monday. I'm all good. I'll stop. Then. It's like, it's you got too much momentum in the wrong direction.
Josh Janssen: [00:16:00] Yeah.
Tommy Jackett: [00:16:01] And so January after momentum from December, dude, that's an avalanche stop shit.
Josh Janssen: [00:16:10] Yeah. Yeah. I think even, I mean, I, I remember writing a blog post years ago where it's like, I would do my news resolutions in September, so I would fuck up enough times that by the end of December, I'd got my shit sorted. Yeah. But I mean the, uh, you know how I got a bike? Yeah. I've got my exercise bike,
Tommy Jackett: [00:16:33] spin, spin,
Josh Janssen: [00:16:33] spin, spin, bike.
Yeah. Like it's it's it's okay. It like it's, it's got problems in regards to the, um, the sturdiness. It was one of those puppies, 300 threatened,
Tommy Jackett: [00:16:48] like $1,200. Like they,
Josh Janssen: [00:16:50] I have, so this was the
Tommy Jackett: [00:16:51] PT studio though. Fuck that thing even. Yeah. Radley.
Josh Janssen: [00:16:55] So the thing is I went to a mate's house and she was like, you got to try.
This bike. Right. And Bri she'd mentioned it to Brie first, which is good because these types of purchases, if it's just me, it's going to be an uphill battle. Um, high incline, as I saying, uh, athletic world
Tommy Jackett: [00:17:18] cycling. Um,
Josh Janssen: [00:17:20] but how about this? I sit on the bike. I start riding, it's got a screen. It's like the, it's a Nordic track.
It's like a, um, a Peloton competitor. Yeah. Anyway, I start writing. I'm like, Oh man, your fans are so good in here. She's like, Oh no, that's the bike. The bike had fans on my face. And I was, I was like riding in Colorado and that there was a, uh, a woman it's like telling me, okay, keep going. You're going to feel that it's going to get a bit harder now.
And the whole thing, like I have to use like this little knob. Here to try and like, you know, create more resistance. This thing has magnets. It's ridiculous. Anyway,
Tommy Jackett: [00:18:06] so yeah, it's got the full screen. So there's some of these at the gym I've been have the, the blower, the, um, the face, like it is so good, but
Josh Janssen: [00:18:20] I just feel like a new year's resolution could, could be somewhere surrounding.
That sort of thing, because the thing is we can earn it, earn it.
Tommy Jackett: [00:18:29] You have to December every day in December, you use the one you've got,
Josh Janssen: [00:18:34] I think I would find my back. If I did, to be honest, I may have already ordered it. So if I have it by December, but I will. I'll um, I'm very excited because it's going to mean that you can say you can set up different places and say, cause I wanted the Peloton, but the problem was the Peloton.
You can't get here.
They just don't share.
Tommy Jackett: [00:18:57] Okay. Okay. So this is, it's got a full plasma. Let's go healthy day. What is the screen? What's,
Josh Janssen: [00:19:06] what's the, I think it's 22 inches, 25. We're not just buying a bike. We're buying a team. So when you work, you work out, we're not just buying a bike, we're buying an iPad.
Tommy Jackett: [00:19:18] Is it smart? Does it connect to the inter web?
Josh Janssen: [00:19:20] Yeah. So it's um, it has I fit. Which is their, um, which they have like dozens of trainers. And so you can either stream live, uh, in a spin class. But what I'm most excited about is you can, uh, ride around different parts of the world, which is, this is what I was trying to do. Like I, uh, my bike said it's got like a, um, a screen and the screen is like a, um, What you would see on like one of those free, um, pedometers that you get in like a, a cereal box, which is fine.
And if anyone, anyone in Melbourne, once my old bike, I am selling that. Um, but that's going to be my that's going to be my, um, uh, GM. Yeah. Like it's equipment. Like this is always interesting how you justify it. It's like, okay. A gym member. Think about my fitness first membership. Yes. Spent a year year with that, not using it.
So if I actually use it and then it was perfect. I was watching this YouTube video and this guy has saying, you know what? If you want one, you've got to get the one that you want. You got to get the one. If you don't get the one that you want, if you get the lower one, or if you get the what's going to end up happening is it's going to become a clothes hanger.
You're not going to use it. You're not going to get excited about it. You're not going to be passionate about it. You're not going to use it. And so I was very passionate about,
Tommy Jackett: [00:20:48] was this the guy from Nordic
Josh Janssen: [00:20:49] track and none of the
Tommy Jackett: [00:20:51] sales guy. Hey,
Josh Janssen: [00:20:52] I'm Brad. He was a reseller, he was a reseller, but I get it. I get it.
It's got leaderboards and stuff too. So if there is any other grants that are using I fit or using that, I would, um, yeah, it's um, I don't know if it's just for, because the thing with Nordic is like I went down a rabbit hole of all of this stuff. They have, um, it's part of like their treadmills, like all of that stuff.
Okay. Okay. It might be this man.
Tommy Jackett: [00:21:24] Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, fuck. The treadmills are amazing.
Josh Janssen: [00:21:29] Yeah. And the thing that was interesting, the, um,
Tommy Jackett: [00:21:33] this is great
Josh Janssen: [00:21:34] and this is the, this is the other justification. It's like, okay. We go on trips every single year. We go overseas, we spend all this money. We're not going to be able to do as much of that.
And so, yeah. So anyway, that's, that's my December. So that's, yeah, that's going to be my, uh, December, January thing, but I've decided I ended up it's one of those things where it's like, they ask you. Do you want to assemble it or, um, they can assemble it for you. He actually said let's get someone to assemble it.
Tommy Jackett: [00:22:06] Yeah. I mean, when, when you've got a piece of equipment like that, you want it. I opted for. Uh, no assembly of a cable crossover machine that had about 40,000 parts. And I got, I, I paid my mate in, um, kebabs and a six pack and he came over and he's like a technical guy knows how to do shit, knows how to construct things, put shit together.
And we, and we did it, but by the end of it, you've got a piece on the grant and you're like, where is that? Oh
Josh Janssen: [00:22:43] yeah, you just, you just don't want that. You don't date that the ads are so funny of these things though, as well. Because it's always like, and that's where you end up going. It's like, Oh, too hot people.
Like there's, uh, there's this like, uh, sort of, uh, in, in a city sort of building, it's like big glass buildings and on one in one building, there's this hot guy in the other building. There's a hot girl on there, like working out too. Like they're all like competing at the same time. Embrace, like they're going to have sex after this outlet.
Like that's, that's like the narrative. But, um, yeah, I'm excited. I D do you know what I'm fucking classic? Cause it's, you know what I told myself, I'm like, you know, what, what not going to mention the bike, just going to get it. Everyone's going to be like, wow, Josh, like, man, you're so fit. I'm going to start like fucking, like all of a sudden I'll be like cycling out and about as well.
How did you do it? I'd be like, I actually got this bike. I didn't tell anyone, but I haven't even got it yet. And I've matched it to bring it up.
Tommy Jackett: [00:23:41] Oh, well it's um, maybe on December one, you can tell us, will it be here by then?
Josh Janssen: [00:23:46] Yeah, I hope so. Yep. Um, five day. Delivery. I don't know about the assembly stuff. I think I'll find out today what the, what the deal is.
Tommy Jackett: [00:23:56] Well, maybe by then you can, um, uh, you can have a, uh, an understanding of how you're going to tackle the month of December.
Josh Janssen: [00:24:06] Yeah. I get the sense that you could do because what do I love? I love technology. The other cool thing about it is that it comes with, uh, Whites as well. So I can do a little white, I can do an upper body sort of thing at the same time.
But, um,
Tommy Jackett: [00:24:23] I dunno, I mean, the idea that they actually promote doing weights on the bike while riding
Josh Janssen: [00:24:29] what they actually do is let the screen moves. And so the idea is that you can move it and then you can do some like other stuff at the same time if you want to sort of switch. But I think where I'm more inclined is it's like, The learning about different places because they're going along.
Yeah. You're riding along and they're like, okay, you'll see some like, bear, like not bears. What are they called? It was some sort of like animal. And you actually can see the animal and she's talking about it and she's saying, Oh, so a little bit about me. Um, you know, I've got two kids, one's 12, one six.
I've been riding for over 20 years.
Tommy Jackett: [00:25:08] Uh, prod Valley
Josh Janssen: [00:25:10] probably looks really good
Tommy Jackett: [00:25:11] shot really well.
Josh Janssen: [00:25:12] Yeah. And the thing is that when you're going up the Hill in the video, It does all the magnetic stuff to make, like to give you the proper resistance. And then they're saying things like, yeah, they definitely, they say things like, ah, um, uh, well, this is definitely one of those.
If, if we had cleaned the seat campaign, I mean, when it comes up an
Tommy Jackett: [00:25:34] exercise bike, How about you keep your other one and then, I mean, you probably signed a deal with braise. Well,
Josh Janssen: [00:25:41] I mean, but I sell for very cheap, to like 150 bucks. You can have it. Do you
Tommy Jackett: [00:25:47] want that? That's a bag and half price go. Uh, what about, um, having it, so you, I mean, you got to, like, you can have someone,
Josh Janssen: [00:25:56] the problem is, think about the partner, think about our apartment.
It's like, it's going to fit perfectly. Like it's going to be one thing, but, um, But yeah, you do have that vision. You do have that vision a little bit where it's like, yeah. You could, I could imagine people who are super wealthy, just having Nordic track, everything, like, you know, those things that you were talking about, they have a version, that's got a screen on it.
Tommy Jackett: [00:26:20] Anything that has a screen on style fitness, those are there they're much cheaper, but you see, this is like, there's nothing more impressive when you go to a gym and they've got just the same brand it's kids without everything. It's like, wow. Fuck. Yeah. Look at these $40,000 treadmills.
Josh Janssen: [00:26:36] Yeah. So it's hitting the two things it's gonna, you know, it's got my, uh, exercise, it's got my, uh, feeling of travel.
I am slightly worried about motion sickness. I did ask my friend about that. She said there was only one time where it was a very hilly, but she was saying like, um, like in a sit, like in like the hustle and bustle of Vietnam and stuff. They're like, they've got ones where it's like through traffic and stuff.
Tommy Jackett: [00:27:03] Is it renders or is it new life?
Josh Janssen: [00:27:06] It's like recorded with multiple cameras. Holy shit. Yeah, it is. So like you use like you heat when you hear people talk about it. They always talking about the Peloton. In regards to like doing the bit of research, Peloton is the I'm. Um, I mean, a, a studio sort of like, if you want that sort of, if you like it spin classes, I think that the Peloton is probably got more classes, but the other thing too is if you're into live.
All of those classes are in the night, but Nordic does it as well. So I could, if I wanted to do a live stream class, which is what
Tommy Jackett: [00:27:46] this is great.
Josh Janssen: [00:27:47] Also, I'm just going to
Tommy Jackett: [00:27:48] be good. December one. We know what your what's your kicking off. Then we can, I'll start thinking about what mine is. Um, and then, uh, yeah, activate before the new year before 2021 comes.
Josh Janssen: [00:28:01] Yeah, there's something. Oh, how about this? So there is the whole theory around when you tell your, um, uh, your new year's resolution, you're slightly to do it because it sort of triggers everything in the brain that gives you the reward as if you have done it. What about the idea? We have to decide by December, but one what town you use resolution is.
And then at the end, maybe episode 1000, we reveal what Angie's resolute, where
Tommy Jackett: [00:28:36] all right.
Josh Janssen: [00:28:36] I love that. The only thing is it doesn't really give us much for the December. One chat
Tommy Jackett: [00:28:43] just
Josh Janssen: [00:28:43] did it. And this is a metric, unless there's a metric thing, unless we keep it broad where it's like, I'm going to ride the bike, but then I do the maths around.
Okay. We could put, we could all put in an envelope. This is my goal. This is what we're going to get to. And cause I feel like then it's more, I'm more likely. Yeah. Yeah, no, that's good. Go ahead. I also went to Mexican Cantina as well. On Saturday night. It was, I did see a photo of you and your
Tommy Jackett: [00:29:07] parents.
Josh Janssen: [00:29:08] Look, mama loves it.
60
Tommy Jackett: [00:29:12] the home of the Caesar salad.
Josh Janssen: [00:29:15] I looked at it and do the Caesar salad, but they, um, they do a great combination. Uh, yeah, it's great. It's got a bit of everything. It's got a, got a taco taquito, like inshallah.
Tommy Jackett: [00:29:31] Is it, is that, is that Mexican Le Le
Josh Janssen: [00:29:34] legacy Spanish combination tonight? All right, guys. It means the combo.
The would be my guest
Tommy Jackett: [00:29:43] happy Monday.
Josh Janssen: [00:29:44] All right. Have a good one guys. See ya. Say tomorrow.
