It's the daily Talk Show Episode 625 Happy Monday you feel the animals What's going on? Oh switching actually feels the and I was wondering where that came from could have been a bit much for Monday but I was watching home alone on on Saturday night with Bodie, great film you know, already lots of firecrackers and
0:23
keep the change of filthy animal. And then that's
0:28
him saying that now he's he's fast forwarding a video and like pressing pause and interact playing, you know, he said 10% anyway, it's great. You enjoyed it. Yeah, I loved it. I love it when barley likes, films that I can actually enjoy to rather than sitting there watching bullshit. Are you gonna go to the Shrek the Musical? I'd like to I think it probably scare him too much.
0:53
It looks good. Shrek is great, but it's for young three year old. Really. It's scary. Well, you
1:00
Real Life seeing a big green man to you know Olga there's 97 there's that
1:10
website that I believe me me icon talks about that will tell you scary parts of a movie and so you know what to get rid of it sort of like helicopter parents calm
1:20
dress with Rain Man Rory for the first time good I Rain Man Hell
1:25
yeah, you're out analytics.
1:29
I don't say girl very much. But I feel like the analytics side of things there is a level of Guru with a to z you wanna you want the Messiah vibe the guru vibe. Now there's no bits you spend a lot being charged the cult just hate when people call me or if video guru yeah but why do you keep telling people to call you it?
1:51
So we got right Memphis I'm and Karen i k Kaz is back from Macau. Is that where you got those that that bag from
2:00
Yeah, I mean, there's nothing better when Caz comes in the office. But then as comes in the office with traits, there's nothing better than that. And you've got like a bag of stuff. We can't go through it all because there's a lot there. But we want something to nibble on now. So can you tell us one thing in there that we could try right now? And sort of consider Josh gets he got angry at me once when I got cereal for him for fat Fridays. He was so petrified. It was soap. It's like, genuinely, I don't like cereal. Yeah, so it was a bit of a waste. And so what does it say on the what? What language? Is that on the front of the bag? That's Chinese Chinese guy. Okay. And what does it say? It's art own shoe, which is like,
2:45
the head chef and Chef brand of the company. Oh, cool. Yeah. Can you say that again? Ahjumma shoe. gotta remember. I try and say it. Can you say it one more time. Please, john. Sure, john. Sure.
3:00
She simplified it for you. She really gave you the HMM to pour to miss. So it's all it's all tonal, isn't it?
3:10
It's hard. Like when you see Tim Ferriss speaking Japanese, it's like he's not a tonal language as well as Japanese tonal. So like,
3:21
how would I know? I'm not sure? I know but like as in when it comes to languages, is that
3:26
safe to say cuz you're the language expert here because you speak more than one. Around here you can speak Australian and gronk it's not a tonne of language. You see, like, he does it with his mouth and like his tongue doesn't lift off. I've seen him talk about it when he was learning He's like, I don't
3:44
when you speak when you say requires a different type of email is too much for me. Anyway, cares. What's one thing that we could try right now? I reckon Actros they are really famous Emma cow. Okay, grind grow famous to Macau. Yeah, this is not even fat Fridays. This is just bring it over. No.
4:00
Naughty Monday and so to describe it they look like
4:06
to Quito.
4:10
Okay, this is great. Let's say grow. So cares what's in them. Oh
4:18
no, that was just the thing that's just this is the Sasha Sasha you know you have fresh produce when it's got a little do not hate.
4:27
What's a preservative? thing anyway? Let's smoke some cigars JJ. Thank you. So I take the whole thing okay. Yeah. Oh yeah, so it smells like shortbread. We had shortbread before. I don't think so. Okay short braids, like it's begging like Christmas time and stuff. That would be great. dipping into something. I like it but you could almost suck summer chocolate milk thrown. How do you do you just ate them straight? Is it in Macau. People are just walking around jumping on these things. Well actually, you don't see them using these. It's for the tourist.
5:01
She tours practice. So no one's
5:08
shortbread.
5:10
Now they're delicious. And so
5:12
have you ever bought these for yourself? No.
5:16
was a real trial carrot.
5:20
But lovely. Thank you. You've been travelling, travelling a lot. Yeah.
5:25
Where did you Where did you go to recently? I went to go on Joe and Taiwan. Yep. And what's the situation like travelling when this coronavirus has been? You know, going on? Just like talk about like, what happened in Macau first? Yeah, that'd be interesting. Um, so like, ever since because I worked in a school as an intern. And ever since the Chinese New Year's holiday started. The school has been shut down until now. It's still being closed and it's not going to be open until April. Is this mohnish or no, no, I
5:58
was in Macau because more
6:00
In Melbourne of the pushing the term back another two weeks because it's yeah all the people that are quarantined and and they just didn't want to start all classes with you know 10 people and 20 people missing and and so what sort of school is it it's a International School and all the hotels and casinos have been closed off pretty much know what's out in the street and so when you arrived even in Macau wow imagine imagine in yeah where China and so the up so what's the vibe like like walking around and stuff it's kind of scary cuz
6:36
Macau is it's it's really popular with people like everywhere you go there's a lot of people's on the street. And then now it's just that silence. And then a lot of stores are closed and everyone is wearing mask. Yeah, that's like
6:53
scary well why would you wearing mask amounts we have to it's mandatory really in Macau and mandatory. Wow.
7:00
saw people just getting around. This is and so what? Is they hand sanitizer everywhere? I saw I think it was like what do you call it? What's like fake footage from places it's what's that content? No. What's the word Rain Man, you know what it's like to sort of amplify the it's fat there's a word that up again Again it yeah I've like drones flying spraying, spraying hands that are like sanitizer, overpriced. It didn't say that shit. No. Okay, it's definitely back. And so you had stuff like that, like people like getting sprayed down like the front of their room, but also in like the sewerage system, those types of things. So you said did you said you went to kwangji? Oh, yeah, but that was before like, It all happened in December. Okay, I said that. Yeah, last year, but it was still happening. And so you weren't worried at all? No, no. I mean, what about your friends? Have you got any friends that live in China?
8:00
No, still
8:03
still I didn't know that. Yeah, that mandatory and and so what it because your mom works at a hotel Is it is it hard working in hotels at the moment? Yeah, I think for a lot of this stuff you have to take turns go into the office. It's like maybe like you have to shift on Monday and then you have the rest of the week off. Yes, I was just dying to go back to work because there have been closed off in their houses every single day. Yeah, I saw mom and dad on the weekend they and one of the first things it was like, Oh, you know, talking about the coronavirus and it turns out I've just been watching TV because it's full on like, I was like what are you watching and then next minute like I watched a little grab something and it's like, you know, Italy's in lockdown. You know all this shit. And I was like exactly what else post now this was before that mom and dad were onto it for season. Start up four seasons right condom
9:00
Hotel chat now just just four corners. They did a great like he's a propagandist no video on the whole thing real real Yeah. And what what did you do with the propaganda? What's the propaganda? It was the propaganda for you is your blood sugar that low? I can't remember what it was. I don't know if you know what propaganda is? Well, it's like could be it's created by the like a governmental, whatever fake to create fake hype around something you know it's like I think within the the context of the China's China stuff yeah I guess I get what you thought I'm saying it's like heightened
9:39
like how crazy it is like conspiracy Jimmy I my filter goes through my mind conspiracy Jimmy because he's usually the first on a conspiracy and he said to me on Saturday it's not as bad as I thought and that's coming from a guy that leaves in the land of conspiracy
9:57
in regards to it going to collapse
10:00
The economy oh this you know like it's it's conspiracy Jimmy now how it's gonna go well what I'm saying is he's tapped into the hyperbolic conspiracy world which is Reddit, 4chan all that shit right so he's the one seeing the you know the solo people on YouTube how you end up on some translated video of a guy in China talking about how how bad it is like that's where we started that's where he was sending me at the start and now he's like it's not that bad and so I say guy I'm almost sure yeah I believe maybe doesn't know like yeah yeah bye
10:37
knowing they love it going bad conspiracy paper a lot told you yeah fact. Why don't know how much it like pays to like fully Frank out about stuff. But then also this whole thing of like the definition of a pandemic. I people are getting obsessed over a week I Nicole this a pandemic or not? But the thing is like what the common
11:00
haters are saying because after I watched the four corners, then YouTube just kept playing. On one Sunday we just went from four corners to
11:08
reports of coronavirus. Yeah, like it. Just keep sending you all this stuff trying to see if I can pull up like I'm getting pushed all these things you can say but not make sense fact. I mean, I am what I am so I hope that it all works out. I'm excited for the possibility of doing a little bit of working from home having sort of doing the podcast remote it and maybe having to cancel a few things we're done. But everyone's businesses just holding on everyone's gonna feel like that's part of it. Right? Like if we I think we spoke about that the other day. It's like you can have there's probably a bunch of people who were, you know, their business wasn't great. And now they're like, yeah, the carnivore had no excuse, because they business was a piece of shit.
11:56
Their bass is two years late, but then they use
12:00
coronavirus in the you know, collapsing economy is like my my business was healthy. Yeah, it was Yeah. Anyway, that was lovely Karen Thank you appreciate them
12:12
Yeah. How you Philly? Yeah I'm good blood sugar back. Yeah, I had some I got a spoonful of ice cream before the show you almost collapsed. It was shaking more it's it's currently 245 and I hadn't eaten
12:28
coffee I had coffee and so I had that. Yeah sort of mouth and dry mouth that makes me angry. I realise it. Dry mouth of it what was it howdy? How's it sound?
12:39
Can you get that little bit?
12:42
Yeah And so yeah, so I was feeling a little bit I've gotten better I said to 97 sorry that if I'm being rude, I'm just hungry. It's good. It's a which is a progression step in the right direction. Where did you learn that from? The self awareness you know?
12:59
Is there something
13:00
I learned it from No I'm just thinking I'm going to the psychologist tonight because it was in March great first session. Yeah, I got a cancellation male or female, female. And what's what have you looked up on it? What's your deal? I'm trying very hard not to all I want to do I don't know if it's like the mail in me is like, have all of my issues. I know the reason and the problem and where to fix them. And soda why so she wants to call me I can help. But I think it's, I'm I'm consciously like you are pointing out that you're a bit shitty because you haven't eaten
13:37
consciously trying to not have any answer or work at anything or have any preconceived idea of who she is and what she but what do what's her bio? What do you know? So I spent some time on her website and I actually couldn't find a website when I first booked it and then I not good and I love it again and founders. And then I just went through he seems nice
14:00
me sort of did she say what sort of psychology? No, I say this is the thing. I haven't gone into that she I couldn't. you're wanting to have all the answers before you say that? Because I'm going, what do I say to them? I'm like, Is it like, do I set her up? I got this crazy business partner, this young woman, isn't it seven today, Karen and right, man, we're in the, like, How much? What do you you know, you start thinking to have to outline all the stuff like, tell him about the podcast.
14:27
You know, what would you do? It's, it's too much on my mind even thinking like that. Yeah.
14:34
You nervous for me? Yeah, I am. When is it tomorrow? Tonight? 6pm. So that's exciting. Can you can we speak? So every time Bray goes to the psych, like, she calls me straightaway, and I'm normally like, What did she say about me?
14:49
Did you bring me up? She's like, Yeah, she thinks that like you should go sit here.
14:56
gonna think I'm like, I'm not going because she's brace on.
15:00
psychologist suggested her son as a psychic, the psychologist, as I talk for seven years, is that the deal? Seven years of silence? It rhymes but is like a code. It's like yeah, a seven year code seven year co worker down. So we'll still be doing the show maybe once. I hope it's once you're finished with it's not a 70 code. So doctors aren't allowed to talk about his doctor patient privilege. It's only for seven years or look it up I heard it the only I'm not just talking bullshit. How about this Rain Man Never heard of it. It was I was at a party and there was a psychologist there were there was pretty pissed and had sensitive dirt. And as I got to tell you in seven years, on something, and so I was like, Oh, that's interesting. Seven years is how long they keep the info for. I don't know about this. It feels like some holes. But I hope it's not hopeless because it came from working with a psychologist to say that I've got saved
16:00
on someone, even 7% Mercedes and I probably get into talking within three hours I get it. I made went to the psych for the first time a few weeks ago. And the psychologist had a white board. And there were white boarding the whole session she was drawing graphs and doing like a whole family tres squiggle. It had that vibe. I mean, you either like it. It does something for somebody, I think. I kind of want them just to talk to me. I've been to like couples counselling before couples psychology.
16:34
It's um, how was the lesson? What did you
16:38
Oh, it was my fault.
16:40
Now, but I think it's, I kind of remember but there's a lot of just guy or a girl. It was a woman a woman. Yeah, yeah. I can't I can't like I think I I wanted a woman. But maybe I want a man
16:52
saves you find anything on the seven year old. Now. I can't find anything on seven years could be clients. It's like lawyers.
17:00
Doctor privilege. Yeah. What is that? What's the deal with that?
17:05
Well, I'm just trying to read through their code of ethics do that's how long? How many pages I just, I even find like,
17:15
I think doing what we do. It's like she messaged me she randomly emails based on a cancellation gives me a few times I tell them Do you have any outside of our so I didn't accept one of the times. And then they're like, no, sorry, we don't can you get one of those and then I get another email back saying, I've got an opening Monday 6pm
17:35
and then I'm like, first of all, what do I need it? Like I'm trying to almost be to organise what I want everything I need to bring what I need to do you have to bring like Freddy catcard Oh, that's it. That's all it is. But I think we so used to like,
17:48
shoots and keeping things going and cycle when it does that. And so her processes aren't too dialled in. Absolutely no, I didn't get a kaeleen vote. Okay, I wasn't notified through slack. Yeah.
18:00
made it through. So I would like that I would like to have all that stuff. That's why I love about RBK our accountants I mean it's got that shut down in getting a text message would be great like a Are you coming? I got a hairdresser the other day is like haven't seen your beautiful face in ages. And I was like the fact is, you don't really
18:19
it said that I haven't seen your beautiful face in ages. That they spell beautiful Be it if you would have said it. Now Yeah. Okay, interesting thing and I'll find it for a while. So what I love about breeze psycho psychologist is the site just take sides all the time. Like you think of a psychic as someone that's like, they should be like, Ah, you know, well, what could you do better? Yeah. And Bree Bree comes out of her psychology like appointments. It's like Yeah, she thought that person was being a real beach. Yes, like wow, like just fully
18:58
slamming the
19:01
Is there a counsellor partner privilege? Or you know, mentor
19:08
on the brain? I think there's it's trying to it's like, I could imagine you calculi doing it kinda really calculated based on trying to like, this is the rapport builder, me saying that equals report and so they just like jump on that bit people like the psychologist humans to you might infuriate them, but this person is being or have you thought about coaching? Would you coach the psychology? You would be would you or know how I
19:41
laid with how you met David? No, I don't know.
19:46
Yeah, this is this is too much. Think about it anyway, if they say like, what brings you here?
19:54
Have you thought about what you would say?
19:56
I haven't thought about what I'd say okay. That's probably a good thing.
20:00
Because I feel like whatever I say first is not going to be what I actually what they get to service Do you think you ever go to a psychic What have you found?
20:09
So you meant to keep those
20:12
the stuff indefinitely under confidentiality or until seven years after their death? Or the person who died that they are referring to? Yeah.
20:21
What about if they've just died to you?
20:24
They move the psychologist Phil is dead to me $7 interesting.
20:30
Yeah, service direction you ever go to a psych
20:35
Yeah, probably.
20:37
What Yeah, I mean, I think I'd like to
20:40
this is just to chat three things. It's not It's not like there are any real problems. It's just isn't it being able to talk to someone you should? Yeah.
20:50
in Macau, what's the culture like with going and seeing someone too many people go to psychologists cares. Um, I think it's more like a taboo.
20:58
Like, if you are
21:00
depressed will have like, mental illness. It's often like frown upon your real policy.
21:08
It's horrible. That fact.
21:11
Kaz laughs But she doesn't vocalise it, but she's smiling. So when you hear silence, you see, hey, there we go. Thanks.
21:19
You can vocalise otherwise he just seems like you
21:23
don't have to hold your hands.
21:26
Yeah, yeah.
21:28
Is that a turbo thing is laughing too boo. Or you can laugh?
21:32
Okay, sure. Where's that come from? Do you think? All right step into the psychologists enjoy this? You don't have to answer the cause, but
21:43
do your answer. Your answer will be held seven days after you.
21:48
Do. You know when you laugh, like what do you thinking when you laugh?
21:54
Like it's kind of like, ugly to like have your mouth really wide open.
22:00
Same thing as like you yawning and I'm not covering it. Sure.
22:05
Yeah, I think like
22:11
97 it's actually a bit of a joke.
22:14
Yeah, when she took some of that thinking,
22:17
could you imagine?
22:21
Funny? You got to watch the video guys.
22:24
Okay, interesting and so the Have you noticed being in Melbourne that the chat around psychology and mental health? Have you noticed a difference?
22:34
Not really. Okay. No just conversation to people at uni or any of your friends. I think it's like you will get more support here is easier to find someone that you can talk to, like a uni that I go to they always say Oh, if you need anyone to chat to you, here's the length and that's the phone number. But that in Macau, it's really hard to find that interesting.
23:00
Yeah, in fact, I mean that I think it's been such a big piece of work in Australia around that. Yeah. You know, there's how many different foundations and sayings that are found that you know that the name of the site, the name of the saying is the foundation chat tonight? Yeah, yeah. Well, it feels like there's like a bunch of those campaigns and things great. It's so good. Anyway, 97 Welcome to the future. If we got any emails or anything. Oh, yeah, we've got the book. We've got the book club stuff. Yeah. Do we also have a surprise? I do a new ones is did you have something to show us? Oh, yeah. Great. I show it now. Yeah, sure. What do we do? I'll send the link over to your Instagram. Okay, great.
23:44
Here we go. So this is live. So we'll just one of us will do it. Yeah, we're just gonna send it to the daily talk shows essentially, this too, is like each of you can do one. Okay. Okay. All right. Today's here. Okay, what do you got the top one you go click on the
24:01
Okay, I'm gonna continue
24:04
okay I'm going bottom okay that's great. That's so cool what is the debt look the daily talk show is on my face to face to
24:16
face that that's awesome it's like Hayden dib but let's permanent that's great i didn't Dave you should have waited so how did you do it
24:25
remember like back back back ages ago I did like a face torture thing for my uni yeah asked you to do one for me yeah and then I so from us now to one foot at a talk show yeah forget promises Can you check on the press the bottom link save that and saves will put it into the video
24:42
the second one the LinkedIn work for me said I need to download the app to you because you've got already he's got old Instagram. Yeah, here we can continue. See if this studio. Oh, what is that? What's going on? What's happening? It's confusing for you
24:59
ah
25:00
Oh my god, it cuts you out so it's like you're in the green screen and it puts you into the daily talk show studio.
25:08
Right man
25:11
good look good when you're out in the street so how do you how do people access access these guys are like this is own child. Like once I have to proper logos and stuff, you guys can publish it and then the gronk will have access to the amazing amazing so we got the link on our site and people can access it. So you could go you could be on the toilet and pretend that I'm doing the day which is perfect. This is actually perfect from me doing the show from home.
25:41
This is the second chunk. This is so good. And
25:46
how did you like how did you do the wood? The wood. I just don't want it like a bunch of wood panels from Google. I know I painted it. Really it looks pretty spot on. It looks spot on. This
26:00
is really good. It's amazing. I love that. And what what software did you use? spark AR studio
26:06
music and
26:08
so then the next step is so
26:12
Yeah, exactly. So you send the invoice and so that the test version you're saying, yeah. And then from here, what do you send? The next step is I would have to send the files to you guys and then you guys ever have to upload via the
26:25
programme. So then once Instagram approves it, then everyone can access it. Okay, great. Instagram doesn't approve it, you guys will only have 50 trial. Okay, so 90 tries of putting it back up now. Right, like,
26:42
yeah, so is there a limit now or is that there's a limit now. So what do we only think? What is right? Yeah, sure. We're gonna send the link to a few people and get them to do something. Yeah, sure. And so long to approve it or not directing a lot the positivity
27:00
canceller cret Ryan, man what's happening in the world of analytics?
27:08
what's what's, what are you thinking about in in regards to podcast analytics at the moment? What's on your mind? Well, the sentiment analysis has been good. Yeah, looking at how positive and negative you guys are.
27:21
cannot have this data before I go to the psychologist. Yeah, that's what I was thinking can be a little a little toe shape for you. And so what's the idea with the sentiment analysis? Um, just to get an idea of, you know, whether there's a trend of, you know, positivity or negativity in, in the episode or across episodes, so takes all the transcripts, the words and then link is, yeah, Google does it smart and says, you know, you're really positive in that or negative in that and how, what do you think where does gronk fit on the positivity side? Yeah, we got to train the AI to work that out and get around it.
28:00
Because it's pretty universal, isn't it? Well, if you from Western Sydney, it's it's a negative negative from the gronk. Squad. It's it's positive, or it's negative. That's the, you know, the diverse nature of it could be confusing the algorithm now. Yeah, that's right. Well, they always just reinventing the word. Yeah, I appreciate that, which could be good. Well, that's good. And so any sort of hinted what we are more negative or more positive. Yeah. So I mean, I generally positive, isn't it? Yeah, let's get positive on them.
28:31
Some tips that we're trying to analyse. So what about today's app?
28:36
What do you what do you reckon started the blood sugar? It's a it's a cliche, not positive. Yeah.
28:45
Ryan a virus. I think that's true. It might pull out psychology.
28:51
Was it pandemic? use that word? I'm pretty sure Yeah, I did. Yeah, maybe it's a dimension matching the future. If I did the
29:00
sentiment analysis on big data so they captured everyone's conversations over phone. And then now you know, deploying as helpers to people that were in a negative spiral, or Amazon just they put together a patient request around the
29:19
bank being able to detect in a user's voice of Alexa. Whether they're feeling happy or sad. Wow, that's cool. Yeah. And then what are they going to do about it? I guess if you feeling sad, with think about it from a purchases standpoint, they're happy. They're more likely to make a purchase. Or it could be that sad thing where you just want to make yourself feel better and buy something. Yeah, I think some more of that shit, or the darker stuff. Yeah, that would make sense. Or is Josh like, he loves you? Yeah, when I'm sad. It's like, Okay.
29:50
Yeah, maybe? Well, maybe it could be something like
29:54
ordering you, Uber.
29:58
I wanted to cheer you up, Alexis. Just
30:00
Yeah, that'd be great. Because Have you been listening to the show? It's okay, if you haven't, yes or no. Okay, well, actually, um, because I give the stickers to my uni friends. I never thought that they were actually listening to the show. Really, they actually do really good. That's good. That's cool. And any highlights from listening or watching lightly anything that stands out? I can't think of anything.
30:25
Any favourite guests or any favourite moments or even moments of rebuttal things that you disagree with that you want to bring up?
30:33
Too many? Have you been watching on your computer or have you been
30:42
like you just put someone on the spot
30:46
sorry about the delay mo episode data that had a bit of a negative sentiment or the sad
30:56
That's true. That was very sad. Wasn't that
31:00
Like 56 standard drinks or whatever that was pretty sad. Do you drink guys? Yeah, she's nodding yes. Just as she goes. What's your what's your drink of choice? What do you like to drink? Well, like I'm very new to drinking so like beer and cider is now my go to drink.
31:18
My family's are with me then I'll go for fancier stuff. Hi. Yeah.
31:25
So what was the window? When was your first drink? Oh god. Um, it was like a couple of days before my 18th birthday. It was my friend's birthday and he got us shots. Were all good first drink stock shot.
31:40
drinks. This bond club.
31:45
Well, I shared on Facebook group I was actually I was pushed an ad for bond night club here in Melbourne, which is Facebook that was on Facebook. It was a video sort of was dynamic and then had like a drop down over
32:00
They drink packages dynamic, am I it was it had me until I sold 1500 dollars for a night? And so does that include drinks like yeah includes a lot of drinks. How many drink priority? limited? How many not unlimited not unlimited 1.5 litre bottle of Grey Goose like a high end or a nice bottle of champagne shots.
32:22
mixes your own private booth. All of that. Where is it? It's in the city. I've once hosted an event there. I was the emcee would you want to sit down dinner? Our suit shirt borrowed? Not had one. Still got it? No, it's good. I only have one actually got to my wedding suit. Another one so clubbing. Cousin rain Manny. You guys clubbers Do you go clubbing? Kansas you
32:51
know the audio? When you have headphones it'll be easier. Yes. Y'all know
32:56
I am I really a man you club day bro.
33:00
I feel like you may have had a DJ business in a previous life. That's the next.
33:07
And yeah, I could imagine like what the exact beats per minute that gets the clap going. The best sentiment analysis, just run a sentiment and sentiment analysis on The Club. And so what real time what clubs are you going to? are like, what do you mean like the name of the clubs or
33:25
whatever thing like brown alley maybe that's like the main one in the city at the moment. And
33:31
it's for like a, like a person, not a club. Like I wouldn't go to a club, or it's a DJ. So yeah, following. Jane. I like the DJ is not so much the clock. He's got no, he's got no connection to a club. Like he'll go to what club show is required to club Have you heard of grant smiley? No. He's too young. We had him on the show. And he's a very successful DJ was, is he still DJ is a little bit I believe. That was the first time
34:00
He said he hadn't been on the decks that was like over New Year's was the first time he got back on the decks are really he's not even resident nine, like always a president type of thing. But so, so what's a DJ stand out for you at the moment? My favourite. Yeah, all of the cholesky he's, what's he doing? He's just DJ you know what sort of music though? It's like, I guess house music. Yeah. So class is like,
34:26
no, it's more like it's less of like, you know, like, you know, like techno which like, Yeah, really, it's more like, it's more like normal music.
34:35
Anyway,
34:38
there's more bass drops in house. The point of the bond thing is that I put it into the group saying, what do you think for Mr. 97 first nightclub experience. And there was a lot of yeses and quite a few nose. And I see their point in the nose and that point is that it's like it's not it's not a shitty club to start with. We all go
35:00
A real dive duty just golf clubs to start so I think the other option from the high end one which is probably just more because I I would probably prefer the higher as What do you think? Will you come to the bond nightclub if we haven't been funny? Yeah yeah yeah no I get it now I appreciate it I really appreciate says 1500 dollars for a booth and so how many people do we get in the booth? Well, maybe up to 10 have looks if I mean this would be some video content and has brought a gimbal Well, I so I emptied that event and was promised payment and it was wasn't for the cloud specifically like a PR agency wasn't no and I never got paid. So to conclude am IA for a booth it was two grand outstanding had to avoid the invoice only time I've ever voided an invoice in my life like one that was meant to be did the job we had to avoid or data because I fucked up the number Yeah, but know that I'm
36:00
mean one that I understand why To me it was two years later and I'm like I'm not avoid it My name is on the other that's right so sorry I'm out so cares if you if we can pay your come along. The other option outside of the very expensive package at bond is going to somewhere where we can have a bit of pool somewhere where we can get our own area because there's no rain man when she was into this Shepherd No, I'm more into that really, you can we can go to one of the nightclubs that the deck own. I know there's Ballarat is an option Jones and option. Shetlands an option or a Chica Chica would be great. That's an option. So this I'm sure we could organise some kind of like you're talking an hour to three hours away to play an hour to three hours. It'd be a weekend of it. Leave on Saturday. Get home Sunday. Just Yeah, I don't know if I want it to be a whole week.
37:00
No,
37:01
it's just one night. You just gotta stay just can't drive. I'm LSU so you're doing this because it's cheaper
37:09
to hire a minibar, so it's cheaper but it's also got more of that shitty like, you know no bond is the one who cares if the rah rah it's if Leonardo DiCaprio came here they've had some massive stars that bond the other places are sort of that more uni club what
37:33
the hell am hotel here that kind of up there could do something in the southeast suburbs, something like that. That could be good Helens far. And so would we. What I liked about bond is the booth. Yeah, because it's just nice to 1010 it's 10 in the booth. That's exclusive 97 cares. Now. Why is this one free VIP waitress? Yeah, but that's fun. That's good. That's what you want. Okay, yeah.
38:00
Don't even don't talk club talk when you've never been to a club that a waitress, so yeah, what is what's that? Say come and give you drinks they Is it a little sleazy? If it if it does sound like that one VIP waitress, if we put forward right off what's nice half strip a half? Yeah, now they're not you got to Vegas and it feels what's the difference between a white dress and a VIP waitress? I guess that's all day specifically looking after your you guys. And so we had bottleservice in Vegas, watching Calvin Harris and we had an area and there was Cindy, whoever a woman was like, looked after us. Really great. Like they make a lot of money through tips. They found they just like, keep on top of that. 59 No, not here are you promise that's promise mate, you're paying in premium but are they paying the waitress while then? Yeah, the people get paid well here, okay. I just I think that there would be I feel like
39:00
We're moving into a bit of a tipping culture. Now unless you're spending 1500 bucks I feel like there is an $500 tip. Yeah, that's what I'm feeling. That's what you got to do in the States. The tip was as much as the buddy bottle in the US shitloads cares. You going to any clubs or anything at the moment? None like club nine clubs? Yeah. What's what's a club club? This is a club right
39:24
now, club versus a club. Okay. And so your club your club or
39:29
different clubs. So the unique club what's the unique club? I am part of the photography club.
39:37
Club night club. Anyway, to finish this off for the day book club, the book club. You wanted to do some kind of an update on where you can purchase this book? Yeah, very exciting. So the book is called tiny habits. The small changes that change everything.
39:53
What do you think Ryan? Man I feel like you could get around this. A lot of stuff around
40:00
Every page is just as tiny. This is what the book club, how to automatic. How automatic is the behaviour, really interesting stuff. So anyway
40:09
97 Where do you get the book from? So we'll set up a redirect, go to the daily talk show.com forward slash book club. And is there a hyphen there? No, not book clubs. One word. One word book club joint made a capitalised book, or B or C. NET all lowercase, you need to explain what a redirect is always that is useless information. It should just work. So just go to the daily talk show forward slash.com forward slash club. And that'll redirect you to the book room collective George's mom's bookshop. And you can purchase the book. We've got a we've got our own page, which is actually under a category. Just like children's fiction, nonfiction, the daily talk show book club solid. What do you think, right man? Is that impressive?
40:56
To get on that? Yeah, from an SEO point of view. It's great.
41:00
By the book if you need to buy the book go on there. And funnily enough George's mom's name is Kaz and so Kaz will shortly she'll wrap it and it goes into it. It'll be sent to you. Thank you. It won't be wrapped. I meant like it seemed like a big possible customer daily talk show rapping definitely not may not be that
41:25
you really need to
41:27
soak up propaganda before cuz Josh is what I really try it for me I think it was a joke to this is like making fun of it. Well, no, I just think that it may be because like
41:39
they use propaganda in the water. Yep, it was like that always fake news, right? Yeah, no, where am I going wrong with I think that was just like so you saying that the drones like it was propaganda from the government propaganda from somebody to civilian government. But that's what was the confusing bit the propaganda bit
42:00
I feel like only really work in the American government is American people talking about and have to come from the government. Well, no, it doesn't have to
42:09
be under
42:11
the tire. No, I just I was confused. I thought you're talking about fake news Lynn I think you talk about fake news No, I just pull up I was just like no I'm just trying to save your ass in regards to just I'm being silly using something like propaganda in something as silly as this anyway
42:32
information especially of a bias or misleading nature used to promote a political course or point of view Yeah. So usually these political so it could have been Rockefeller thinking that the American government of putting this out there to shake can the China I get it so it's all nice right I get it I do because like, Is it fair to say cuz the propaganda in China and stuff it's a very sensitive. Yeah, definitely. Yeah. What is the view like, is making
43:00
Wow, is it connected to chart like is there part of China but it's not really China? Like we have our own government and our own currency. But then I think in 40 years from now, Macau have become China 40 years 40 years. Well, that's Yeah, that's when it gets handed back. It was like the same thing with Hong Kong's Well, the Brit Yeah, that's the only race and that's what's happening with all the was handed back from the British. And so when people talk about propaganda and Macau, do you have to be careful or is it pretty open in regards to talking about stuff?
43:36
I mean, like you never know who like goes missing? Because they said something.
43:43
Right, guys, what do you say
43:46
to the psychologist not I'm bringing this up. It sounded like a threat.
43:52
I
43:54
was
43:55
writing the room writing they're so good. Oh, do me Yeah, baby from the
44:00
Ja, ja ja, it's Belinda wall from brand amplified. Ah, that's a good acronym. Growth guaranteed hashtag gronk goodness what a show a brilliant daily format offering a huge variety of chats with all kinds of ocean payments, from budding Business Builders to global success stories and everything in between. Love the unstructured ambiguity in each episode to with true warmth, respect, and plenty of hashtag gronk banter. Tommy, Josh and Mr. 97 put all guests at ease and reveal a heap of golden stories along the way. Guaranteed good times five stars grab those nice propaganda free grab. I didn't have an issue with it. It was it was more I thought you were talking about fake news which I it's part of part of its it's more that could be more fake news and propaganda, to be honest, but I can never they can't but propaganda like they use fake news obviously like that's the big sad.
44:56
I think you did. I think it was more I think I was thinking that you were saying about
45:00
viral video, there was a viral video that came out
45:06
that was it could have been severely negative what Josh spun at me, but we'll have to check with what Ryan man What do you think Ryan? needs to do the analytics Yeah, but
45:16
you can judge if you look at a bit of the data
45:21
was like Neo sees it in the matrix are you feeling sentiment score so it's been it's been swinging Yeah, but overall
45:30
stay positive yeah finish. That's a positive not finish like going to like watching the federal elections. Yeah.
45:39
Half the time just like we'll throw to john. And he's like, yeah, I think it's, it's all going good. And then they press a few buttons on the screen and then Hillary's definitely gonna win. Anyway, let's go.
45:51
What's wrong saves.
45:54
It wasn't a thing. It was like now throwing two people in here that we're talking about Hillary. She's definitely gonna win, guys and like
46:00
came back and Trump won. That's exactly what
46:03
they're saying it actually could happen with Bernie
46:07
said like, people think Trump is definitely going to win based on what's happening at the moment. But then burning the dirty little dog will come out and be real happy. Hopefully I wouldn't be I wouldn't mind. Not that it does anything to me. That I know of just yet.
46:23
We're going up with the sock, maybe.
46:26
I'll be bringing you up by that's for fucking sure she finally Jetson. She's gonna get a mention. I haven't corrected you that. It's single thing, right? It's a daily talk show.
46:37
