Thank you, man. You've just come here. You've been on a all morning. Not a morning.
0:17
Three hours. It's a crack. I let them F and I watched a bit of Dawson's Creek perfect Don Jasmine. Really? Yeah, what season toe number three. I'm waiting for Pacey and Joe to get together. Yes, you guys watch.
0:31
It was very like it was teeny bopper show. Maybe you missed it. Josh is a couple of years. Just diving into series in general, on a bit like that, too. Sometimes. Sometimes my attention spans relational. And I really have to focus but it's quite passive watching with Dawson's Creek and he always just get really happy when the theme song comes on. Yeah. Just taking it in. You understand?
0:54
That speedy better easily just pick up parts storyline and then you just don't really watch suicide and then how long
1:00
Ah, I'm so maybe like 40 minutes. Yeah. Do you think that you could potentially get like a review segment?
1:09
Okay, so again, I'm pretty outdated with the TV shows I watch and have a bit of an obsession with the I say apparently there's a podcast that is dedicated to just reviewing the ice. Hey, I love it. I just want to put my hand up for Did you to host it? Would it be nice? You could do it? I'm sure you
1:29
have the seat confit. Did anyone watch the Yes, Chef gala?
1:34
I like reality show. See. I don't know that. But during debate, MTV, the real version? That's right. Which Mischa Barton she was on. She's on the she's on the heels. Like the new that. Yeah. I mean, the thing with all these old shows is all I see from them is articles about how fat they've got
1:57
to know who she is now. Holy shit.
2:00
There are
2:02
brutal, like she's probably going through some Shin
2:06
about it. But I suppose that was kind of you know, you're known for how you looked on the show back then. And so yeah, well, it's the hard one because you you super it's like what do you want to be famous for? I mean, many people are famous for many things now, but those old school stars now that's what they became famous for. That's what they've stuck at. or that's what they've
2:27
party girl.
2:29
Yeah, yeah, it feels like radio you can get away with like, not having to worry about the body image stuff as much, but in 2019 now, everything's film. See this what people say they're like, you're right. Do you wear your pyjamas to work? You can't anymore? Like we film every day. What's your schedule, like there were times you get up and what time like how much prep you're doing in terms of your appearance.
2:52
Very little. And I think as the year goes on, as the holidays, approach, my sleep and I'm just snoozing.
3:00
I try and get up at four every day. And then try and meditate for 20 minutes if I'm good, but I'm just snoozing at the moment. So I'll often really push it till about 440 and then I'll roll out the door about to enter. Okay, and so in between that time I need to get my clothes on wash my armpits if I'm not going to do the whole shower
3:25
this one requires special treatment or in the morning yeah or like even right now, but I'm just so conscious of my list yeah
3:35
it's it's in you have to train yourself to speak with it in here to hold you Yeah, I mean I probably if I'd really committed to the list will probably be going but I'm wearing at least overnight. That's good. Yes, soak it. Probably should
3:51
be doing worried about my
3:54
my girlfriend bright actually said to me on the weekend like Saturday night, sometimes I'll
4:00
get like a little bit sort of relax and I'm like, I'm not even gonna bother, like brushing my teeth going to bed and she brought it out with me. She's like, you gotta look after your teeth. I feel like the evenings my mom's a dental nurse and she always said that you got to do it in the evenings because Mike during the night build up Yeah, yeah.
4:25
Tata Tata it's one word.
4:30
Looking at my
4:36
name is bullshit getting thrown around. I heard someone say about my son is two and a half. He's got some good chompers. Yeah. And someone said I look doesn't really matter about brushing the teeth when the young
4:48
mini bits of advice I'd be so confusing to listen to,
4:54
like drink a bottle of milk and now
4:58
my son this morning he was calling me
5:00
He said nice, because I we get into the bed every morning. Yes. Daddy smell. Go have a shower like it fully says that. That's good.
5:09
No it was my breath. It was just morning breath. Yeah, I just I told him is he's the shit, but he didn't get it. But anyway, isn't that the beauty of kids die you know that the not gonna not your feelings?
5:22
Can you be honest back? Yeah, well
5:26
because he pinched me the other day I
5:29
went to pinch him and I was like, No, I won't pinch him. I'll just say, I know it's such a reaction. He hits me and I want to want to hit it back. I gotta stop myself. karate, maybe it's a good sort of showing you how the world sort of, you know, like a bit of karma a beat down for? Yeah, well just like oh look when I pinch, Josh. I didn't pinch back. Yes, I won't do
5:52
commerce. I probably host the radio show with Jace, who's
5:57
got some great stories about you guys coming over.
6:00
From New Zealand together, it's like an arranged marriage. Yeah, it sounds like it. Yeah. I used to always call it like a. Yeah. What do you call it? This is my work wife. Yeah, yeah, I call it my work. How many so you weren't happy? Did he tell you the story about when we started working together? Because he's got a lovely wife low. I said to him, I say hi. As low, like, threatened by me, to me anyway. Good question. And I actually see that even in front of
6:28
my face, and
6:32
we are all good. I said that was like, they were laughing because they like, was that
6:38
like,
6:42
right yourself? No, I think it's um, it's a unique relationship. Like I remember because I when I met I met my wife when I was in radio. And there was some of those like we're work heavy work they can be and I remember us having conversations when a new relationship it's a bit confusing, right?
7:00
It's a lot of time to get up yeah and I think you're if you do have a partner they have to be okay with it and they do it you should let me see if they have those chats but not high
7:12
boundaries and you know you do have to work at it like a marriage is sort of boundaries what Josh was like yeah he actually got better touch
7:29
like completely react straight away what was touched your arm whatever you push me straight away whereas now as I think
7:36
much do I do Josh? cattle much do you enjoy sometimes?
7:43
Sometimes we just throw my cuddle in the studio. Yeah, yeah. Which I saw backfired the other day where he sort of his hands sort of all Yeah, yeah. Anyway.
7:55
Ended up being a video
8:00
A leather his hands and he said,
8:04
detail on the boundaries. What are some boundaries that you sort of said?
8:10
Oh, um, I think it will be like normally most things are go. But if there is something we don't want to talk about was a Hey, don't go here. And often, you probably will end up talking about it. But I think sometimes when things are roar or whatever,
8:28
and he'll dance on it sometimes. And sometimes you'll think he's gonna go there. And it's like, now
8:33
do you think do you think he's actually going to go there? Or you know, no, I think we've got pretty good trust now. Yeah, took a while, I think especially the first year I was very, very grain. And he was very, very shaky and would come from different backgrounds.
8:48
And so it took a bit of back and forth to really understand where we were coming from, well, yeah, boundaries have found by sort of
8:58
going to the edge and going
9:00
Yeah, say or even going over. I mean, you guys did live radio. So yeah, Josh and I, we've, it's probably early days a moment where we stopped recording record once. And that's that boundary, right. That's fine and going, that doesn't happen again. Yeah. What about you guys the live stuff? Um, there's probably been like a couple of moments. I can't even think of specific examples now where it was like, oh, but it's a learning curve and you don't get better unless you probably do experience a couple of situations where you're like, Okay, hi. That was not quite right. Well, like, can we do this? That success metre Yeah. pranking stuff. He goes there really well. Jay says the Jamie said that stones. Yeah. And so Sam Newman was in the studio. And like, I remember watching and working out where the prank was and who knew actually had it's, it's gone from my mind. I watch it again. I can't work it out. It's so good. That I'm going who was in on the joke. Who isn't
10:01
Amen. And last at at Jay. Jay. So everyone apart from
10:07
just a regular Get up, although 2020 was this books I plan to get my written should finally five years.
10:16
Yeah, hey, often Jace will be across a lot of that stuff, because he has a really thrives and ideas and it's kind of always been something that I have not done so well. And sometimes, you know, I'll spend a lot of time and energy trying to think of stuff and I'm not actually that's not my expertise. And I like I probably still try to be better, but I know that this sort of, we really, really thrive in we're constructing an idea when
10:45
it comes to the years of experience as well. You know, he's worked with a lot of
10:51
great people in radio and he's got a lot of experience. So in terms of crafting an idea and executing it and make it work.
11:00
Get it whereas I just come up with a name that rhymes guys
11:10
the daily talk show before we
11:14
show
11:16
it
11:18
Yeah, I mean people fuck it up a bit but that's okay
11:25
yeah Daily Show with the boys
11:28
that's what I
11:30
used our
11:33
recording that we did with him on his podcast yeah really nice intro
11:40
we love you Craig
11:43
that can happen
11:45
on the on the team front all the producers you guys like to do a bit of stacks on in the at the prey podcast gets wild How do you know when
12:00
It's the line and when someone's gonna cry, because I feel like I would
12:04
love it as long as I'll stack like playing stacks.
12:08
on you know what's underneath. It's the most fun being at the top. Yeah.
12:12
How do you know when you go into?
12:14
Oh, when there are tears, but
12:17
it doesn't really happen like I think usually you know, it's sort of like that part of the podcast is plays on. It's like fun. It's silly and you know that it's all for a bit of a laugh. Sometimes at the end of the show, I might be a bit emotional and I'm just hungry.
12:33
What, what are you laying on when you're when you're hungry? What type of content Do you think you end up producing? Or what type of person do you become?
12:42
Just
12:44
I don't know. Maybe? Yeah, no, actually, I'm not really Modi. I don't I just shatter chair. Why are you hungry right now.
12:56
I saw you doing the detox.
13:00
A little head of that. What's this? No no just like a little compras thing but
13:08
it's time conserve in this chair Padang's. And as
13:16
you can tell that two days three days, but I'm not the best at committing to things like that but that won't change know when you're doing the thing because Tommy always says, well we're in an argument the first thing he says is eat something. Well, there was a time where I was dabbling and trying to not do coffee in my chat was so shit that morning Alex is like, Hey, I think we're gonna have to do the coffee's.
13:39
I mean, working in the team and definitely working as the on a person. There's a lot of exploring of who you are, what you stand for, that you need to go through there a lot that you've worked at, as an adult.
13:53
We think is because of the job well, we often say that basho is like therapy because when you're clerical
14:00
It's things that are going on in your life and often you'd actually an everyday scenario probably be too afraid to talk about it. But you like some of them I relate to this. I'm going to talk about it and then in turn you find it's actually really therapeutic. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean there's some we've done like extreme on honesty, that kind of thing which you today with what came out but
14:24
it had nothing to do with Joe Rogan.
14:27
But so you go to
14:31
James, my co host said that I'm
14:36
missing from
14:40
garden garden.
14:46
garden.
14:51
Just claim all three and what anything else that you've worked at about yourself, um, I have learned that there's a lot
15:00
A lot of other people who are pretty strange out there. Like, I think when I first got into radio, I had this mindset of want to be that cool MTV host. And I probably tried to make someone a wasn't really and then with time, and I think
15:18
this sort of was achieved by the chemistry with Jace that I learned to just completely own all my sort of flaws. And with that, that's where you get the true essence and the magic of the show, I think. And that's where anything can happen was, is it doubling down on who you are? Because it's funny.
15:37
Because I guess at the end of the day, you know, it's a form of entertainment, you know, it's content.
15:42
And so I guess you can select the aspects of yourself, but I still think you have to tap into that true part of yourself. You can't fake it. I think we've all got versions of it, I think so how does it allow for change, like if you change as a person, so if you want to be
16:00
A lot lately like I'm nearly 30 and i don't know i can i can tell this guy's been doing like I'm not just gonna look like I don't know cuz you're into like the wealth of the health and wellness stuff I try. I like to think kind of that balance I like to think like trying to the body but I also have fun and into the stones and stuff you got a crystal gets done
16:26
yeah we did a secret video just just quickly
16:34
just quickly getting on New Zealand used to have these things called party party drugs. Party.
16:41
Party pills. Dangerous dude. Yeah, I was over there 28 2009 maybe 2012 good. You're a bit lighter. But did you ever have though? you wondering what yeah, I said real good. He good and I was too scared of that stuff. And then there was the synthetic Wade which was really dangerous bad
17:00
This was off the market but it was you could buy it so many places that I thought I definitely remember Yeah. Chris I can imagine you getting into the sales attached to the main
17:14
charge them you get them charged USB or just just just exposed to the old light
17:24
that good some people always have to remind me and so I've just put them out on the table so they constantly charged
17:34
the crystals or no no you haven't killed Christo, let me know if it has charged there's no way that you feel the energy made no clouds for charging. I don't think so. I think it just has to be so kimono.
17:46
solar power. Okay.
17:49
And so do you feel like these things like you can call bullshit on Yeah, those kind of anyone can call bullshit but I think I got exposed to all this stuff because my mom that she
18:00
was a very mainstream doctor for so long and the my deck and I'm well quite a while ago and that sort of lead her down this crazy pathway which is when she got opened up to Reiki and the vegan diet and all that stuff like years ago, no longer vegan been through absolute roller coaster Have you
18:19
I was just reading an article by Joe Rogan
18:26
watch it but yeah, he was they were claiming that you know it was very very one sided. Yeah, it was. Yeah, I was vegetarian for a while. Sorry.
18:36
us. I just ate a lot of like peanut butter carbs. Yeah, a lot of top keto.
18:50
But that's the thing. You can be vegan or vegetarian and be very unhealthy. But if you do it right, and you eat well and I guess you make sure you get all the nutrients in find that that works for a lot of people but
19:00
Yeah, it's interesting when people get on these bandwagons and sorry mom was exploring that stuff. And so I get kind of opened me up because I mean she's got a very strong medical background. So seeing her you know, starting to talk about all these ideas that really opened me up. Is that a is that a shift in belief for someone who is a doctor is this like, I think she was always a heavy wanting to come out. Back in the day she very nearly could have become like a guitarist and a white little was either a doctor or Spanish.
19:35
I wanted to do Spanish Yeah, we did before the podcast you say?
19:41
What do you mean you're going to Spanish doing Spanish? Well,
19:46
I would have literally gone so aimless at university.
19:51
degree The thing with I guess majoring in a second language, otherwise feel that there's gonna be other people who are going to be better
20:00
Yeah, and I am so I was really good at Spanish disco. I don't want to brag but that was my best subject Did you go to any country?
20:11
I mean, I went to Barcelona a couple years ago and I was awesome. I want to learn Spanish again. And so I did it the reverse and I started doing night lessons after I'd come back, but I couldn't tell you what I learned in that time. Is that what I did the whole
20:25
it's one that the FBI uses which got many lingo
20:30
lingo but it's similar it's if something stone 97 Do you know what it's called? But I paid like a bunch of money it was like an apple you listen to what you just have to say. It's all
20:42
that that's not a good way of learning. Yeah, but it was I didn't get anywhere. I can't remember my
20:48
oral Let's go. Let me know but it is Polly vivo in question with alanda tinka dos hermanos my RS KCM and Sam a Tom, a quanto Arabic Kenya and then that's all I can remember.
21:00
Good, sounds good, but really I'm saying Hi, my name is Polly. I've got two brothers.
21:06
Tony Robbins and Sam and Sam Yeah. And then at klenda Kenya I think it means when I was younger but then I can't remember what I said. What fascinates me is the the accent that comes along with you. You become fluent in Spanish. Speaking English one arrogant or you do an American accent and you fit into a certain region like you grew up there in California Santa Fe, California a lucky sound lucky know your luck when you just start it start speaking that language. What do you Where do you sound like you're from kalian bro.
21:43
Did you ever do like what does it call when you to try to soften your accent or whatever when you came to Melbourne I had to take Australian accent listens who runs that?
21:56
I think it was like a voice coach back in New Zealand and
22:00
Yeah, I was ordered to work on my vowels and I had to watch homeaway episode. Really?
22:06
Maybe like some old school nivens Yeah, yeah. And
22:10
yes, I had like four different classes and I was like cold scarn really well and I had to have moments of and then I got here and it was just weird. Like, it's always I'm okay with what was some of the words that you would
22:26
like, I hate words with I and station. We're on his kiss. So I'm like, Keith, and I get such anxiety.
22:34
Keys cough otherwise it's tough Kiss Kiss Kiss. Kiss. Kiss. That's fine. Kiss is it? There's no like, I mean, it's fish.
22:48
Fish, fish fish. He's
22:52
kind of like, up with inflation every time as
22:56
well. I think Jason sounds pretty Ozzy. Yes, haha.
23:02
I was saying that we he had to make a way or he's got I think, How many years did you guys spend together and three, so
23:10
I feel like the Ozzie could go towards the New Zealand a little bit k way it's funny, I think because he constantly stamp out phrases like when I got here, I'd say oh head away dance outside. Why were you taking this dance?
23:28
I remember it was like if you leave if you're sit if you have an accent up until seven so you live in America and
23:35
you don't lose it past a certain age. Yeah, I heard that. That would make sense. You're still gonna suck out anyway. I'm gonna still going anyway. Do you like Australia love that? I want to be on you're not gonna say you
23:50
want mean you come from New Zealand so it's very similar and Melbourne is very. It reminds me of home. I think people are pretty cool here. They're pretty down to earth for its
24:00
Really good looking for a new place at the moment or not just found on really hot because you were looking at us on some type is
24:08
saying I've been treating it like I've just got to have
24:12
champagne on Friday and I like you haven't bought this place your leisure
24:18
it's pretty it's pretty hard when you when you do it because I feel like property managers for the most part are quite unlikable people
24:32
when you go to your first
24:35
but I feel like it is that weird state where when you find the place and it's all working. You work out how to become best man. Oh yeah, yeah, I'll do whatever Harry needs.
24:44
Any tips for that? that carries on mine. Too much too strong. No one just gave us a hamper. We went picked up the case. I thought this has been the best. This has been the best dealings with any agent. I got to the front door. I forgot to give him the fly screen dorkiest
25:00
I couldn't get there. It's neglect. I had to jump the fence getting through the side door Open the guarantees it was fact so annoying
25:09
like the letterbox k if you like your big box k all those types of things yeah I've got a few keys for quite a few people right now
25:21
I mentioned it
25:24
three years ago
25:26
now and I smashed a couple of lights by accident which I've got a replay wind of it check. I'm sorry I have to move out to the lemons but I'm about to go on holiday so I kind of want to begin a stone kick claim the quite pedantic here in Australia you don't know because I thought that by law they had to Tommy will do anything you can to get out of doing shit but he has to do bloodstains will start, like border, like plan
25:54
has to be sanded back and rich restyle. Yeah, we were
26:00
chance to completely I was looking after a friend's house and the dog pissed on the ward and we didn't wipe it. We didn't say it straight away. And it just burns through the wood. absolute nightmare.
26:15
It's just like, it's like it
26:18
was like it's the security would I guess if I pitched on the floor I would clean up right away. Yeah, well you don't didn't little bastard.
26:27
You You guys have spoken to a lot of big names over the years. Something Josh has anxiety about is the keys how go handshake.
26:37
Oh, I've got the domain name do you kiss? Kiss a handshake, hug kiss handshake. And
26:47
I don't want to be too presumptuous. We just we had but then I
26:55
was amazing.
26:59
You
27:00
sparring with babes tonight is an article on The Daily Mail and I just remember this and it's like baby flirts with radio hosts. Oh yeah, he had he shoulda just
27:11
drunky BBQ
27:15
at night that was your idea. I don't think I did climate to the end of the earth button. Yeah. And hey, we're having a great time. Like he was just pretty playful that day. coronas? He was Yeah, he was. He said that I looked like Seth Rogen
27:33
and, and Carson Wentz was on Mars. Yeah, now cuz I was filming for Fifi and jewels on the radio show back in the day. And he was very nice. He introduced himself to me. And he said, Are you look like Seth Rogen, Joe Rogan
27:51
will be Joe Rogan
27:53
call Sandilands then said yeah, before step lost, all the way
28:00
Bit pot kettle.
28:03
But anyway,
28:09
that was a
28:11
bit that was a bit upset that really sting like that. Were you actually emotional?
28:17
Because you probably could. So yeah, I'm trying to think. Now. I mean, when you get my
28:26
story, he probably doesn't remember. To be fair. Do you think these people that you make because a lot of them It feels like a friendship when you're around them because you're building this rapport on a lot of these people you'd would not remember us there was absolutely no any that you think would
28:49
know. So just
28:52
have to presume always care. Yeah, I think so. Like, I think go in expecting the latest and hope for the best.
29:01
They want to further communication and then we'll do remember the band time. I'm yes ha I am. Mom. Sorry. Didn't it didn't it didn't and then 10 friends a Taylor Swift Huh? What did I support her maybe on
29:19
the wrong rock, quite a successful friends, no friends but we'd interviewed her interview with him at the studio. I mean, I was walking down the street later on that night and I drove past and they're like, hey,
29:36
why not?
29:38
was a thought not gotta be it was something I don't know what I was doing a midweek Yeah, it was when I was doing the night show. At the end of the day, and yeah, they were heading the same and awkward and how do you go with like having a job that's so playful and fun that you need to take serious because it's one of the top roles in the country.
30:01
But also allowing yourself to sort of let loose or have that fight like I found. I struggled with not being so like, uptight I need to get my sleep new, you know, you have to be strict with breaking Australia. Thank you really it is an emotional roller coaster if you don't get sufficient sleep and I reckon always verging on insomnia on Sunday is a really serious but normally I sleep really well and it was sort of a like a month or two earlier this year that I just couldn't and not the wake up in the morning. And I know I've parents probably get this all the time, but it was awful and you just feel like you're running on empty. And yeah, I think you need to fill that cup to be able to go into the studio and fully
30:43
What's your relationship with your phone?
30:47
Look, not always,
30:49
not always the best but at the same time.
30:53
crave not having it. My boyfriend was on a farm and New Zealand and when I get there, I can just
31:00
He might disagree with this, but I guess it's true.
31:06
We're not having you on this way.
31:10
No, I like I really do agree that time apart from it because you get so sick of reading news headlines every day. That is so sensationalised and everything. Like, I wonder what that does to your psyche?
31:22
Why do you think there's a move because I've been going on news.com to you to procrastinate, and it's always really, really, really good. Do you recognise more like sex pests and stuff nowadays? Like, I feel like there seems to be a bit of a trend that people can't get away with stuff they used to. And so a lot of that it's been called out which is good, but it's just yeah, you need a break. Like I genuinely wonder what that kind of repetitive negative, negative negative just you smell good. I thought I had somebody
31:53
forehead. I do actually lock it away or what do you do? I don't lock it away. I did try and
32:00
Do about two weeks off her maybe last year? Or was it earlier this year? I can't remember. And I think I got through maybe like 12 days, they might have been a few breaks in between. But on the whole, I was pretty proud of that because I was able to do that. I think breakfast radio is a great like, gives you this amazing ability to have this huge wide span of general knowledge about not much like I found. I found Like I said, I just knew like my what my wife at the
32:34
time. I was like, Oh, yeah, so then it's about this isn't that? I don't know much about it. I've read all the fucking headline, headline person that you don't actually know any depth to it or any content that's like, Oh, yeah, I heard about it and then ask a follow up question like, All right, let's ask you a few. Kim Kardashian. It's just been a new idea. Give us the lowdown. She was on the latest campaign with
32:56
Matt get Magda. Do you know how much money they would have gotten for that. Oh,
33:00
Want to say that was the article I was reading? Oh What did I say? How much how much 500,000 or something reinvigorates vouches?
33:11
What did you say they interview with laser weapons and in the end it was just over it's vague right? No. I love that.
33:19
What else is going on Josh anything that you've that that imitation? Me? I don't know I always remember the doc stuff
33:27
is what is open Nutella me telling Marina port and that surf wave machine
33:35
is on at the other day
33:37
in January
33:39
he tested it out with another woman right?
33:44
It said this is
33:47
what you Wait Did you find it that's more than point like when are you actually taking you to remember the moment that I took half of this should
33:54
you be on your phone going oh, I better just check the news again. Check it again. Take it again. But I was thinking
34:00
It's better actually just to reserve a better time at night. Yeah, I mean kinda just cuz eyes. Oh, it's exhausting. It's actually fatiguing. But it shows you though right like what content you know it shows you knowing based on the role you're in like it's it's handy stuff on coal but still I always sound really
34:22
nice we like and then
34:25
you know what colour was the blouse that he was wearing was I don't know
34:30
he's a steward he's always nicer and he knows that I will often just love him
34:36
but I'm not it's good fun what do you do if you feel like you're gonna get burnt out? What do you actually do? What when he says when know when you're gonna
34:48
change of pace.
34:50
Let's take more crystals. Take more crystals, I like to use float tanks. Great really good if you're really hooked. So if it was like a 3pm today
35:00
You feeling completely exhausted? or worried about tomorrow? Yeah.
35:05
Well, it depends if I'm like, truly, coach and I just can't do anything because otherwise I don't run because often that gives me a bit of a bit of energy. do some yoga, I get little naki run it, okay. Yeah, I'm much sir. Okay, we cannot do much but just enough to get endorphins going again, cuz you just with bricky you go into this,
35:29
like constant jetlag. And so when he writes as I'm like, Oh, that's what it's like to feel normal again. And so when you do the podcast bit at the end of the show, so you do like a 30 Minute. Yeah.
35:42
Which I love.
35:46
Do you feel like you bring in a certain energy because it's at the end? Well, I've worried about that. Sometimes. Sometimes. I just sort of remind myself because I'm like, I'm obviously like, this is the start of the podcast and it's been like all the characters in the show. That's where they say
36:00
The day and you know, you get the really good banter. Do you think that you need to hide when you're feeling tired on air? Or?
36:07
Oh, I don't think anyone wants to join us a radio and you hear shit. Welcome to the radio station like
36:14
today.
36:16
Like last night, I think if these may be a relatable aspect, like sometimes if James has been keep up with it gets all night, you know, we might mention it and then we might come back. But I don't think it's very captivating to hear someone talking.
36:30
And so you'll go for a run and then what will you do? Um, yeah, it'll depend I meditation really, really changed sort of my outlook this year when I learned it was the transcendental on later on. Yeah, yeah, the word mantra. Yeah. What's
36:54
that doing this sacred is it sort of
37:00
A
37:01
word or no?
37:03
Say crystals. Is it an English word?
37:08
What's the rule? You have to pay them? But I'm really scared that I'm gonna break them. It's like what like 1100 bucks a day like it's a it's not the the three day course. You have to hang out with other people. No, I she just did it with a friend. So that's good.
37:24
And it's only like, maybe 90 minutes per day over like Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
37:30
And it was Yeah, it was so it was so much easier than I thought to learn and it's just so simple and it gave me that energy that I was craving because I was just getting really tired. And it gave me that sort of boost in the afternoon when normally I'd be like sugar. Like, you know, that 3pm slump. So I do it once in the morning and adult and the afternoon you do it at work. You can if you can slip off to a room for 20 minutes for silence.
37:57
Ideally, ideally you can do it like in a few
38:00
On the way to the airport, it's like a 20 minute ride or something that's perfect. And you could do it in Uber.
38:06
Tesla, autopilot. Have you seen the new Tesla? I knew that was coming. See again.
38:14
Elon Musk is out to $7
38:17
million a year. He's valuation personally. He's gone down 700,000,100 million. Yeah, it was 770 or something. So
38:26
that was the headline. But then it was like, Yeah, he's since since the botched announcement. I say it's all just bullshit like there. I watch the news.
38:37
what's the what's the guy with the old Tesla truck? Is it like a Tesla car where it goes to zero to a fast way getting one is an outside broadcast vehicle for 97 put a pre order down.
38:50
Yeah, hundred and $50 you pay the pre order for the price.
38:56
You're not a chicken No, no higher. We're not fucking hiring out, sir.
39:02
Is it just for the show? No no every see the fire yes that's the plan. It's true
39:08
financial
39:11
base my god we made a lot of promises on the show. And I like this one it's full it's a future future plan that might not pay off if we don't have the cash or if it doesn't come to Australia, but that's for
39:27
me No madam basements me man. I mean this studio.
39:33
Did you put the word up? Yeah. I love it. I feel like I'm in a cabin in the middle of the countryside we found found some on the side of the road actually the Titanic the woods from the Titanic. No. Lie.
39:48
She told me that.
39:50
Jackson I'll be exchanging always encouraged facts about you go
39:56
from the
39:58
Tesla Yeah.
40:00
We bought a Tesla so that you can say we bought a Tesla, but you haven't pre ordered. Yeah. What's the biggest misconception of you? What do people always get wrong? Oh,
40:09
I don't know. Someone called you Fifi on it. I didn't know.
40:13
They did. That was I really enjoyed that. That was a good favourite. I lost
40:18
a prize big calling both stations on a plane. Okay. I mean, I don't think people actually know who they're listening to half the diamond.
40:27
Because we are probably still very new here.
40:31
And I think it takes a bit of time for it in today's day actually come and grind and become like a household name. Like I don't think it just happens overnight. I mean, the billboards help when
40:43
we go through phases of having a lot of him Yeah. Last one. my nostrils were flooded a lot.
40:49
It's a life cycle at the time like a great father and could you did you ask them a flame placed a flame? Well, and they roll up and then you count as a flare. I don't know. I'm just
41:00
Extra flair prime
41:02
it just makes your nose more defined my Josh his nose becomes the way you drawer and fake nose when you
41:10
can you flare man, Mr. Vain.
41:16
So misconceptions.
41:19
I don't know what about me about you and me will come up and say to you. I thought you were blonde. Okay. Yeah.
41:30
And what else do they say? I mean,
41:34
getting it on. Okay, sure.
41:37
Tommy and I were partners. Yeah. Well, they just say that you're a couple.
41:41
Yeah, I think that's natural. If you've got that chemistry on here.
41:45
I think people want that to be the case, because it's so much more juicy. happening but now we get it especially when these videos will be quite intimate, not intimate. But there's this one we were trying to touch over the the other day and we have each other's spice that would like you
42:00
sure you're not like no. dummy. Tick Tock. Yeah.
42:05
It says it says for it, it says, Hi.
42:09
I mean, it's similar to the Joe Rogan thing. Really? what's the what's the conversation on Tick Tock?
42:16
How does that how does that conversation happened? What do you mean? Boy, you I guess like getting on there. We've thought a bit about it. I don't necessarily know if I've got sort of the cool factor. I feel like I'm going to break them. Like every diet. So let's do this crazy thing in and I feel like it's not going to end up pretty but yeah, we sort of we dabbling in a few videos at the moment.
42:38
But
42:40
it's real. So all my mom and dad have just joined social like,
42:46
that's fine, but then I know that it's actually not just a platform for kids. I mean, making off the hard thing was when ash Williams put up a post about it was just like one of these tweets he said, if you're over 30 and on Tick tock, you need to be on
43:00
The watch list and then I got tagged itself. Because Tommy's been I had one viral video
43:06
40,000
43:10
likes or that views plays 170 It's a weird one though. Like what have you learned about building audience?
43:21
What's the likes things funny? It's almost like the whole like, guess how much dinner was
43:28
good
43:30
What is a likes and views? You know how it works? You went viral on it so what you didn't know it? I have no idea. I'm not the person to ask. It has likes and views. Yeah. Well got a lot of views.
43:44
Always say this video, but no, it's the one I made about Oh, bikes fishing.
43:51
The tears
43:55
this moment where you guys
43:58
told me with love that Tommy you
44:00
You know Joe Rogan? Yeah.
44:03
He was the one that got me. Well, he was he made float tanks like world wise, renowned.
44:10
Falun Gong Dodie the connection between the mouth and the brain.
44:16
He was the one that sort of got that chat mainstream. Yeah, well, it's going in the
44:21
studio today. Yeah, so we had been installed it's a fucking what's the vibe? What are you actually like? closed in? Does it feel I think there's you can get rooms where you open a door if you're more prone to claustrophobia. Yeah. And in the is the full on, pull the roof off the roof off for the lead. There's ones that are like also Yeah, like many doors like they look. I look at it, I'd be. Yeah, it's funny because sometimes you'll have a really good experience at the times you'll come out really agitated. But at the end of the day, it's so much magnesium that you're psyching yourself out and I think it's been really good.
44:58
You made a tightening in there.
45:00
You can say, cheese, cheese, cheese. You
45:06
know, although a lot of people do that and I tried to do it last time, then I fell asleep. But you kind of go in and out. Is it the status day?
45:16
Not the face.
45:19
This What is it? Even just before sleep like well I think it's the status
45:25
it's this consciousness we you're not quite looked up but you feel like you're not really there yet how many people have used their phone in a float tank? it defeats the purpose but to really take it in. The worst part is when you squirt a little bit of salt water in your face. And then oh, that's all if you got a little scratch and you haven't put vest on.
45:46
They put on a bit of petroleum jelly. Did I give that did they provide the bass? Yeah.
45:52
Yes.
45:54
flannel. Seeing the final was final flooding doesn't have fled. Oh yeah, but
46:00
What's the drama?
46:03
Like if you have any weird residual in your face? Yeah, okay, I went to the Dead Sea which is a float tank just a
46:11
real big one.
46:13
Geez I got that shit my eyes that was the worst thing ever, but cuts out my bum hurt
46:21
going
46:24
on what's going on? What's a tingle way? When we're in LA? There was no air b&b there was a body wash What was it called 97
46:34
yeah it was like tingle
46:40
Tommy Tommy said my
46:43
penis was stinging that you said and then so anyway i did i was i may feel it on my ass what's going on like something's wrong with me and then said the next time
46:53
so I just left it all on for a little bit longer and really fucking
47:00
One that kind of like happened to a lot of a few years back I remember and that chicken on the balls and the entangle
47:08
there is something it was called tingle.
47:12
It's almost like a cold shower. Like there was something meditative about it like if it's a controlled environment. Yeah, what few tingle just because yes, yes, yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's a Swedish technique with the Swedish technique.
47:33
We jumped on a really, really cold like
47:36
a sauna sauna and then you jump in the car. Huh? What's that? Yeah, old Mike
47:43
Robbins. Tony Robbins gets around around it, but also the Tony Robbins or not, we haven't not yet a free shake you thinking that we could have even had the event, but that's really not
47:56
producing
48:01
You're into self help. Yeah. Yeah probably too much i'd I'm trying to write fiction.
48:09
Yeah, no, I
48:11
have no idea. I'm a bit of a sucker doc. I've got so many self help books. Yeah, I think I want to write one one day when
48:18
I was a bit of a cutaway or Deepak Chopra. And I'm still yet to get through. What's the name?
48:29
The vulnerability one daring.
48:33
Greatly daring greatly. Was that the name of this this other one the
48:39
fourth commandment. I can't remember who wrote it? Or is it the Gretchen Rubin one which is the tendencies or whatever.
48:50
I love Gabby Bernstein as well. She's great. How do you not just have them be just a fluffy Ray that doesn't really have any impact? What about them? Like how do you how do you
49:00
Yeah,
49:03
they were if you apply the sheet applied the shaker I think he, like I won't always write them all at once. I'll just
49:13
be impressed
49:16
trying to do for both.
49:21
Like I what I like about it is you can sort of just read a few pages or just in in really focused on that and then go and sometimes I'll just be lying in the
49:30
bed again.
49:32
Oh yeah, that's really date. Yeah. And then I'll try and process at other times it just completely goes. What's a funny thing, these books I've read a bunch and I don't really know what the bin was the change something for me, to be honest. There is a lot of fluff out there. And I think it's how much you resonate with it. And also at the end of the day, I think a lot of it, you've actually got it all in here. It's all sort of that untapping that I'm taping, uncovering,
49:55
realising the power of tapping into it
49:59
today
50:00
Tap on tapping in. And so I mean most of this stuff gets when she gets hard is when we somehow pull on these things. No. Works doing a bit tough. Yeah. What is it for you that when you when you when life is a bit hard? Yeah. What is it that you sort of resonate with combination of all things? I've not really I had a pretty hard couple of months after my father passed away. And so it was quite hard coming back to Australia and being away from family. And so I sort of went on the mindset of just got to get through to the end of the year.
50:36
And so, sometimes there's just eating shitty food. Sometimes it's just having friends sometimes. You know, just having a chat with friends. Sometimes it's music, sometimes it's running, sometimes yoga. There's no one sort of way of getting through but yeah, it's just not being hard on yourself and it's knowing that eventually things will get better. I think and it's okay to feel
51:00
And because I've always been a pretty positive person and so I think this year it's been that well,
51:05
things can be hard is for you positive meaning it's, it's the instant response. I've never, I mean, even though I've I've lost people before, I've sort of always
51:17
managed to, I can see the garden every situation I think this year, it's been
51:23
very trying even though I'm in such a fortunate position, but getting up early every morning being away from my boyfriend and family is sort of like Okay, come on, you're just gonna
51:34
I don't know, it's sort of finding that
51:38
it's gonna be okay. Just having trust in faith that it's all gonna work out in the end. How do you reflect that on a do you think?
51:46
I mean, yeah, it did. It was quite challenging coming back and having to get back into that I literally, we know that went down the left
51:55
on the right, yeah. Well as and, and I've never been that person who sort of wanted to hide the
52:00
I wanted to hide and just being an accountant or where I can have bank run, never told anyone, and I do some of the shows and you'd get to the end and I'd be like nine o'clock and I just crumble. And I think this is the first few weeks. I was like, sorry, guys, I just have to get out of the room. And that sort of got Peter. I mean, it's as still goes through waves grief is a very interesting based, um, what did you need? or What did you need and what do you need from people around you? Oh,
52:31
it's hard. It's so I don't think you can say you need one thing I think just
52:39
listening, people listening and being there, I guess. Did you want to talk? Yeah, I will talk but not always. Sometimes you just sometimes I.
52:51
Sometimes I talked to my mom. Sometimes I think particularly early on I just wanted to talk to people that new media and said it was probably quite hard and I probably
53:00
Disconnect a little bit
53:02
from people that did not as well, because I just wanted to still have that connection.
53:09
And
53:11
can you can you be positive and those you said,
53:15
I think it
53:17
it was officially the first week hoto that it was just like, I just felt like, every day it was just trying to stay above water, and then it sort of got easier. And that sort of is chilled out a bit and it's life has become a bit easier to deal with. And still you go through those. Just when you think you're having a good day and out of nowhere. I never realised and I think it's gonna be such a deeper understanding for people going through that, that, you know, like,
53:47
one day you're flying and there's just one thing that will trigger you and in here, what does it do to curry and looking at what you want to do with your life. It's interesting. I think it definitely
54:00
puts everything in perspective and
54:04
be I need to learn to bullshit just goes out the window as well. Like you don't really have time for people who are decades is as brutal as it sounds like life's short. Be a good person, hang around with good painful, and I think especially in those times you learn who actually cares for you. And what matters the most. Yeah. How do you think it's changing how you approach people who will be going through? I think it Yeah, I think it's all for and I think this sort of applies to so many situations in life, but when people do go through something hard, the eyes are opened and you do naturally become empathetic with so many more situations and when I can empathise with people who've been probably in flower situations, I think it does
54:52
naturally make you connect a little bit more. Sorry, I think in terms of broadcasting
54:59
it you know,
55:00
It's another element, I guess, what does it mean for performance? So if you're in that sort of space, you're doing a Breakfast Show.
55:10
You wouldn't necessarily feel like talking about like, happy shit or being in that sort of place or banter, please have to suck it up at that time.
55:20
Is that hard? Because I guess there's like, sort of like ego depletion, where it's like, the more you do shit that you don't want to do, empty. And I think I didn't feel like that for a while. And I think that comes back to the connection you've got with those around you. And so
55:34
as tough as it can be, it's sort of having this transparency with the team members coming. Hi, Chef de back. I'm so sorry. I'm not quite myself, and I'm feeling sensitive, and having those chats because then there's a bit more.
55:50
What do you call it?
55:53
empathy, I guess there's more empathy and there's just a bit more room for understanding instead of them
56:00
Like,
56:03
I haven't lost someone close to me or my grandma. But yeah, I've lost a bunch of mates. Yeah, but, but not no one is closest mom or dad? Yeah. Is there a sense that you feel any guilt with feeling okay, or feeling good in those moments? too hard. It's so interesting. Because and I think I felt that actually quite soon on because, for me, my dad, he got unwell when I was about 1415. And
56:32
he was given about 35 years and he ended up going really 15. So that was amazing. Thank you for everything you've ever done.
56:40
And I think along that way, you go through a real emotional rollercoaster of, you know, ups and downs and, and especially over the last year, I guess, I came to grips with, you know, what was potentially going to happen that I always wanted to be not the outcome, but I think I sort of had that build up
57:00
Time
57:02
to process it more than other people would. And I know that different
57:07
you know, different wise people have the pros and cons. So like, you know, if it happens straightaway, you don't have to deal with them, and the deterioration and stuff. But yeah, I think for me, that sort of potentially helps process it doesn't make it any easier. But it just, it's a different kind of journey. I had go through waves of feeling guilty, and then all of a sudden, the waterfall tears come out and you're like, no, it's fine. But these are right or wrong way. Yeah, written yesterday a quote that was something around it's okay to feel good in a bad situation because we can't always control like, you go for a run anything really amazing. Like you're feeling particularly on a different journey and you don't know what other people are process. You don't know what they're going through. Like it really is. I find grief so fascinating. Yeah, it's been really interesting to talk to other people about the area.
58:00
experiences and how,
58:02
you know, they got through those initial sort of months or years. And for some people, you know, it'll take years to really, I think you never ever get over something like that. It's sort of about someone made a really great observation that it's,
58:17
there's always the is always a hall, but you're going to walk around, and instead of actually filling it in to walk around that sort of,
58:27
yeah, part of your life that's gone. What have you learned about yourself?
58:33
I think I've learned I'm stronger than I thought. I think I always
58:37
just I've always a very close relationship with my parents, I guess. For me, that was always the ultimate like, terrible thing. It was like, if that happens, how am I going to survive and so
58:47
to be able to get through that and then come back and continue going, I think it's like, okay, you're tougher than you thought. And I think everyone is tough for them. They think you don't realise you know, as human beings, what we can actually do and what we're capable of
59:00
So I think that's been, personally quite interesting to experience about geography like being somewhere else. What do you think about living and where you set up your base? Yeah. And I think that's also been a bit of a heat. If.
59:17
Because obviously, when David was really unwell, I'd sort of be tossing that out between saying my boyfriend, so be like, I want to say, hey, AJ, my boyfriend, but didn't drown. Well, and so it would be this constant tugging on the heart, like, oh, and then I
59:36
almost felt like I didn't have an anchor. And it was kind of like,
59:40
we don't like or where am I sort of just didn't feel grounded.
59:44
So that's been another interesting kind of balancing act. But I'm ready for 2020 I'm ready for a new slight, got a new place to move into.
59:56
And my mom's gonna come visit and I'm gonna try
1:00:00
Say my preferred as much as possible, but we make it work like people always say how do you do long distance? And we just do. We just make time and it's not always easy but if it's worth it, yeah, I do when I was living shipping my wife lived in Sydney. Yeah, we met in Bali. And so there was that more talking the car on the weekend about how we think that there was something about the long distance that gave the relationship bit more of a spark early. So it's kind of like pro Long's that honeymoon period, you get the full sense of independence. You get to do exactly what you're doing. But you still I don't know. I think he he get the best of both worlds.
1:00:40
Kind of, yeah, I have. I have this dream of one day living remotely in this part of Tasmania called Stanley. Where I have like a high quality, like fibre connection like an ISDN line or whatever, where I can do the show. And Tommy's in like another place Mr. Nice Evan can sometimes come
1:01:00
visiting my dream cottage or whatever, I often talk about having to be in like some kind of commune or retreat on the track and I'll be in the jungle. Or I'm like a farm somewhere. Do you have those dreams?
1:01:13
Absolutely. But,
1:01:16
you know, like Melbourne is where it's at right now. And it's amazing. It's what an incredible opportunity.
1:01:23
So I don't want to waste any opportunities coming my way. The moment you look that far ahead. Do you look at how would you
1:01:31
run a retreat? I do. I don't know. Where do you want to? Maybe my boyfriend's phone?
1:01:38
Yes. Beautiful. Beautiful land. Yeah. What sort of animal cousin shape? Okay. What do I do with them?
1:01:51
There's not a great deal of other animals like there's
1:01:55
no
1:01:56
I heard this exact same fact yesterday. What was that on?
1:02:00
I've heard content Why did Rogan was talking about it with maybe
1:02:06
why his
1:02:08
claim to fame is New Zealand's UFC claim to fame at the moment is rally at a Sonia Of course he is from Rotorua something no North all in some way Oakland transit. It was talking recently and it was mentioning this nice nice now that we've got nothing scary. What is this SS? k waivered Anyways, I'm gonna attack you. A pretty cute and sorry you went to a retreat? Yeah, I'm still refining
1:02:43
happen yeah, maybe hit some float tanks nobody yoga, gorgeous photos. I don't know maybe some talk what sort of produces
1:02:54
a natural organic radishes
1:03:00
My wife is so much Carolyn sweet on the phone to feed the animals. Really? Yeah. field of it. If Kyle Yeah. And sometimes I'll just be driving past on the four wheeler and oak Is it is it fine to was only before it was heap. It was always there and sold it like it is in Australia. When I get hydrated you get into Jase chips. Yeah, I will chip. Yeah, they're so good. But no one knows when I first did my first first ever juice fast. You couldn't get Kyle in Australia. Try silver Be
1:03:35
strong. Yeah. So the first time I worked on a film called I was the Community Manager for a film called fat Sick and Nearly Dead, but the guy Joe juiced around us for 60 days. Another Joe Yeah, sorry. So this is another Netflix. Yeah. And so I was the community manager and in Australia. And so as part of it, I'm like, I'm going to do a reboot like a juice and so the first video is me saying Hi, everyone.
1:04:00
I'm on day one of the juice and then he would have this phrase catch cranberries say juice on and so I said juice on it and then I went to Drink it. Drink it and I vomited the whole thing up. Yeah. And it was great. I thought I loved gingerbread. So I thought I love ginger. And I put it they said a thumb of Jinja look at my phone.
1:04:24
Yeah.
1:04:28
Yeah.
1:04:30
It's not that yeah. So he's got his own Instagram account.
1:04:36
Do you want to say my car?
1:04:38
What is this your foot?
1:04:41
Here
1:04:45
we are. I went downhill. I saw one of these really hot girls. She had here twice but I saw that she had shaved it sounds like she can do I can do this the deal with women and shaving. Can you do it on the face? I think if you don't on the face, you're asking for
1:05:01
Like you know have a like like a dermatologist or whatever yeah who is secretly saying she came home the other day and said I the dermatologist said to to get Botox early and i was i prevented them yeah and I was like in your face isn't yeah so no I just think
1:05:23
yeah and the whole
1:05:26
night
1:05:31
Did you have any of those regular things you do like going to a demo or did you a natural path given a cosmetic acupuncturist?
1:05:41
Was that just set too high so it works on the it's actually like natural books are really put like a needles in your head and face and in your body? And so to actually be working on your body as well as Okay, well that's good. She helped a lot my I had really strong I mean, I still got some forehead wrinkles, but
1:06:00
She's suffering from a great Yeah, sometimes I'll come with bruises though. Yeah, it's like the topping on the
1:06:09
you see people on the beach or the rafter that looks like they've been like I there and I see her in like she follows Chinese medicine so sometimes if I'm getting sexual glasha my back, sink wash outside this kind of Jade toe, and they just scrape, scrape, scrape. And the more you like needed, the more marks camp. It's really I got a breakout one at some event.
1:06:32
And so I've been using it on my face. It's nice and cold. Yes, it's really nice a cold I know. Yeah. It's cold again, and it feels like it's been in the fridge. Yeah. Do you have any issues in regards to temperature of the studio, I think you save your body. And even when people say you're hot or cold person,
1:06:50
I would generally say probably hot stereotyping. Females usually running a lot hotter than
1:06:58
running
1:07:00
Yeah, cuz Jace gets really hot really quickly. I might Yeah, I like I could sleep with the dinner off me. I mean spikings you're freezing girls in the shower we can don't all right sorry much harder.
1:07:17
It's because you're bloody frozen.
1:07:20
need that Thor at? Will on that? Do you have a favourite foreigner that you'd like to pull out if you're feeling tired?
1:07:29
What's your favourite one? Always go weird to get stuck or what? What did you What did you swallow?
1:07:37
What did you have to get taken a
1:07:40
lot that requires dump but potentially. Yeah, can we actually 97 Today I posted a riddle onto my Insta stories. Maybe we could steal a benchmark by again? Yeah, yeah. 97 can write it out though because he's actually sure I've got my phone here. I can write it out. Here we go.

1:09:18

1:09:31

1:09:44
Like I say,
1:09:46
it's very stressful. Yeah. How do you think you would go Tommy and I were talking about IQ tests. I don't know. What's there's an English component of maths. I'm terrible at math. Okay. And Angliss? Yeah. What else is there?
1:10:01
One quick IQ test 97 and we can look so I did it the other day and it was smashing it, but it was. Okay, what's the top 100 is an average IQ is it 100 is average you
1:10:14
know what I am? Yeah. Well, so we did a testosterone test because Tommy thought he had the most testosterone and so Episode 500 you guys
1:10:23
tell me tell me one Really? Yeah, yeah, I had annoyingly I go there. I just want to get my testosterone done and before you know the fucking show me the food pyramid. Again, I'm like blood test. 1:11:27
really beautiful the soap the connecting Yeah, they breathe in. Yeah, I was like I hate other people's breath and I was like, at least
1:11:37
Yeah.
1:11:39
suggestion. I don't know, man. I feel
1:11:43
good. Nice. That's my question. Do you Okay. Okay.
1:11:47
Thank you. Yeah, it's right. It's it's sort of English.
1:11:51
To Spanish.
1:11:54
Which answer expresses the meaning of the specified word best.
1:12:00
specified word is reassuring. And the
1:12:04
multiple choice is compassionate, comforting, comforting explanatory. Middle some. Oh yeah, reassuring again comfort I can hundred percent
1:12:13
middle it's a question one out of 10 so I'll have to go through the whole thing
1:12:18
to the final one.
1:12:21
Okay, hang on. I'm just answering
1:12:25
test we gotta get through each one
1:12:28
and then they'll take you how's your back? No, I'm just
1:12:33
gonna say how you put into it was fun
1:12:38
why you doing is you find me it's it's not that I thought you were sort of moving you're
1:12:45
like
1:12:49
oh
1:12:52
hang on oh I'm really
1:13:02
I want to have dangerous it is to go to the osteo I'm afraid to announce to you I'm not an angel Kira
1:13:10
surely you guys have done like a Is it dangerous to click your bones? Like I'm sure I know. I know. I wasn't asking you to do it. Yeah, I was a kid everyone was
1:13:21
just like the instant nodos
1:13:25
band and you have them with what did you remember that? No, no, but that sounds right. With just sprinkling on. Before. Before before we go, the
1:13:37
I watched a documentary over the weekend. It's about fire. Have you heard about fire?
1:13:47
Fire, it's financially independence, retire early. It's a whole movement towards all these people. But yeah, I retired at 29.
1:13:57
Anyway, but one of the ways that
1:14:00
was doing it was the What do you do for breakfast in the morning? You do a burrito menu I'll
1:14:08
go into story
1:14:11
that's fine Josh hashtags
1:14:16
for a while and then I just got lazy and then like the table come and nobody feels like a cheese toast a
1:14:23
while anyway, so this place I don't think I've even told you this yet, TJ they do dumb. This documentary. They have this couple and the way they prepared their breakfast is they did breakfast burritos that they freeze. You put it in the freezer, and because I don't I don't eat anything. I'm a bit picky when it comes to that sort of stuff. I don't like leftovers as a general rule. Yeah. However, they get a little bit damp. Yeah, I don't want to wait. It's such the checklist of the modern man
1:14:53
leftovers.
1:14:57
But now I'm a bit more work and so
1:15:00
But it does require foil which is not good like to wrap them up this lady on Instagram or YouTube she did 170 of them, but you can do them 30 days or good use scrambled eggs What are you laughing at 97 I'm just thinking you could batch like half a year they had cost get like just buying eggs and then mixing it all or whatever. Surely it's as good as that. Then this is how they do it. This is the good bit. You get a sandwich press and you hate them up in a sandwich press in the morning
1:15:31
or later retiring cash. That's one of the idea yeah.
1:15:36
didn't work out to be burrito burrito meal. It's very very low. SES burritos I've even
1:15:43
hit you in Mexico. Or Henshaw and Mexico.
1:15:48
I love that.
1:15:50
shimmy shimmy. changa chimichangas man but I had I am a burrito. Bit of Teresa was yesterday and I was walking home on Friday night and it was honestly
1:16:00
Yeah, one of the biggest burdens on the walk. Yeah, I do like them. So you are a money saver. Okay you actually go with the cash Are you embracing every meal I know I'm rich
1:16:14
I'm not great with money but I could be worse
1:16:19
but no no. can kill one person say I could be listening. Do you ever do you ever upgrade to premium economy or business when you fly? I have like once because then you Zealand has the they used to do they've gotten rid of it. You know, the white like Domi sort of thing. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's really nice anymore. They're phasing it out. Well, that was it. I think it took up too much space, right, which when you're running an airline, you have to worry about that stuff. Tickets, and New Zealand and virgin now we're all fighting
1:16:48
to be together.
1:16:50
Anyway, before we go final IQ thing.
1:16:54
Which number logically follows this series 469
1:17:00
