Talk Show Episode 310. Happy Monday. Did you say that speech? Come again? I didn't say I did a big bit of spit there. Sorry about that solid effort. Are you someone who would point out if someone was to speech on you?
0:17
Like as in mid conversation just accidentally, just a little. Now, I've very much not said anything. not said anything very much. I'll just stop talking. Now. I haven't said anything. As a couple of times. That's happened. You don't like you're the dude who avoids awkward situations at all costs.
0:38
I couldn't imagine you ever do it like point here? in my mouth. I've got something I've definitely caught something from this person. Yeah,
0:47
I know mine too much. I'm someone who was share cups with someone. Yeah,
0:50
we shared a coffee this morning. When I say shared a coffee. You bought a thermos and poured your cup full and then I drank out of the thermos bra surprised that you kept going back? Yeah, I don't mind like you get done grabbing and pouring more into yours. But I've been sipping at it.
1:04
I feel the only time I'd ever sort of be like our which side of the cut, like being weird about it was to make the other person feel really sad. So you don't give a shit. I tell you what you do give a shit about numbers that you don't have in your phone that call you? Well, I just feel like there's a lot of people calling nowadays whether it's scamming to print pretending to be the A to tax office here in Australia.
1:29
So I've got a handful of friends that I know. They scream my call when when I when I'm calling
1:34
and that's that's another issue.
1:36
There. That's it. That's it. You know, who's calling me like, Oh, just get it like that. And I think it's just their anxieties. But I think I've always had the rule of just answering the call. Whoever it is, I'll just especially Yeah, I know numbers. I'd probably screen someone's call, just like I'll get back to them later. But answer it.
1:56
Yes. You know, the thing is that the voicemail that's what I like about voice malfunction I now Yeah, I'm with Telstra purely for the fact that I've got Visual Voicemail. So I can see, I can click on them. And I can listen to them.
2:09
Jeff Jarvis, who we've had on the show he his voicemail is hilarious. He says something like, thanks for calling. Do not leave a voicemail. I will not be listening to any of these. So he does the opposite. I know that tells her things good. But will would you say we could have missed an opportunity? Had you not taken my advice. I called this number back because he spent five minutes trying to Google the number
2:34
was googling I was getting to the point of calling them back to be clear, but the thing is that I was like before I call them back I'm going to make sure that it's either someone that I want to talk to Yeah. Or if I don't know like if I can't work it out. I was gonna I was going to call them but I wanted to do my due diligence. Yeah. And be like, okay, am I not? I didn't want to end up on a scam call or ended up like
2:58
you just hang up on them. I've got a I'm brutal as soon as they Hello, Mr. jacket. Hang up. Thank you. I know who you are. I know which calling for you will call back. He won't call me Mr. jacket. If you know who I am. Mr. 97. I feel like you would be rattled. If you get a phone call. He doesn't even answer my call. He doesn't even get phone calls. Yeah. What do you do to communicate with your friends? Now not
3:21
really
3:23
afraid of us? We actually what about what about the other day when? This is probably a month and a half ago? Yeah. Hold Mr. 97. Yeah. And
3:34
it answered. Yeah, it sounds.
3:37
Diego and cool, man. I just like to hang up, like, like a fumble and a Hangout.
3:43
And so I was called I was calling 97. And I think what happened? I literally just hopped in the shower, and left my phone on the bench and Sam came running in your brother, brother, my brother Sam came running and he got a cold. And I was like, just panicking. I had no idea what to do. Hey, up.
4:03
Bad. You know that he Dan said he said he didn't know. I didn't know.
4:06
I didn't know. He answered like he just he came running in with the phone. Yeah.
4:09
Every time I call him. It's like this, Tommy? Yes. I got surprised. Like, oh, he's called me. Tony, can I help you? Is that Yeah, I just called you, bro. I want to have a chat with you. What is it about your generation? Like is your 19? Is this a thing within your mates? And this age where you're just not actually getting on the blower?
4:34
blower his phone?
4:37
Getting on the phone call? Yeah,
4:38
I don't know. I? Yeah, I think like if it's like a best night or something cold, like, I think it's like, okay, I feel like best friends. But yeah, it's just weird when you're talking to like someone else. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just like, uncomfortable with. Yeah, I don't want to
4:56
say for example, your you know, potentially dieting go. And she just called you. Like you hadn't hadn't eaten maybe caught out once. You had a nice time. And then she calls you Yeah, just what would you What would you? What would you feel?
5:11
At the start? I think like when you say look down and say who's calling and be like, Oh, hang on what? Like what's going on? But like after it is fine. I think it's just like the initial anxiety. Wait, what's gonna happen?
5:21
Anyway, this also leads to this lack of communication on these kinds of devices. I think you and I were together. We're here on a job in the maybe it was the HR person was saying there's a real problem in businesses these days where people just stop rocking up. And they have quit, hold anybody. They literally just haven't handed in their resignation. They stop answering any calls. It's a ghosting, it's like an actual problem.
5:48
Well, because the way like, especially when the contract involved and work cover, you can't just save someone's employment just cause
5:56
I'd be pretty disappointed. Mr. 97 just stopped rocking out what we do? I don't know. I was actually thinking about that around like, we haven't sort of have we don't have contingency plans for if 97 has a sick day.
6:09
I know. I mean, we are capable of doing it.
6:13
I don't know. The more days he does it for us. Like sure you link to do stuff.
6:18
He better not be one of those employees that starts thinking these guys couldn't do that money.
6:23
You just six months in will come in just
6:27
I teed up a guy to work with my dad who's a landscaper. And he didn't rock up on a man down.
6:33
And it sounds like when your mind my dad caught you
6:35
what he was a year above me. And he wasn't really a friend. But he was you know, an acquaintance. We went to prom school and then I knew in high school. So anyway, he identity ended up going around to his house because he was really I think it's really unusual. Like he was more just concerned a bit. I mean, my dad probably had the right concerns because he ended up being a bit of a junkie and he robbed one of my mates houses that's not good inside and then he fled. actually saw him in Bondi once he was wanted by the bar he's had his you know, with the bike, he's putting out signs. He ripped off someone in a drug deal. stole his don't do
7:11
that.
7:12
Well, I'm ended up somehow in sort of the same field. Yeah. Being on a wanted lyst minus the drugs minus the drugs. Well, we didn't talk about it on Friday because we had the shameless girls on the show. Yeah, but that morning was one of the biggest mornings I've had this year. Yeah, you're you're I witness account.
7:34
Over crime
7:35
also at 430 in the morning. We we've been sleeping with our sort of window ajar to have some fresh air coming in. Yeah.
7:44
And the
7:47
basically we heard this really loud bang. Yeah.
7:49
shut yourself.
7:51
Well, I straightaway woke up like you don't know what's happening. Like when you hear a bang that loud it was like a really loud bang. You think that just got this vision? high up in the apartment? I have this vision for some reason of the whole apartment tipping on?
8:05
And what would that feel like? Like, what do you grab on to you Dan format. Yeah,
8:10
but I just wonder like, what do you do in those moments when it's all falling? And
8:14
like I mentioned making that sound doorframe. Go to a doorframe Isn't that like a thing in cyclones and, and earthquakes you go to a doorframe and hole because it's like a structural point. That's what I have my bathrooms as well. But if your buildings falling over us,
8:31
so anyway, but we heard this bang, look out the window. And there's a huge which is like what would you international listeners, what's a huge pickup truck? Yeah.
8:41
Had reversed into like a door of a shop. Right? And the guy was in high visa. So it looked like they were like trying to deliver something I don't know what time it was wiped me out here. And then I realized that it was a ram ride and they were trying to smash the front door open yet
9:00
fact it
9:01
was I got caught on a on a pole, like a steel pole that was sort of specifically designed for if cars tried to ram right.
9:09
Well, you said that and then I looked at the footage and I saw the news reports and I saw up close of that metal pole. Yeah, it it is it was this it's a solid metal rod coming out, which I would think if I was doing the ram riding that that thing would just pop straight out as soon as you you just hit it, it would just fly on. That thing was so solid and actually took the back of the car. Yeah.
9:34
So I was filming I strike. My first thing to always do is to grab my phone. Yeah, it's a good move. And so I grabbed my phone and I was zooming in I was getting footage of the whole thing and there was swearing at each other. And one of them just started bolting and like dying
9:49
off do they say Go go go
9:53
on a part or something like that. I think that we're trying to
9:55
fix the situation of 100% of stolen van. And I bet you they found the hive is in the van and thought it's like the song maybe? Definitely.
10:05
And so anyway, the frustrating bit was that in that moment, I was telling Bray to call the police and she didn't call the police so I feel like it's slightly irresponsible of me filming a crime. Yeah, I'm not calling but then I went out and I called triple zero which is the number here in Australia for emergency services. And they put you through first I say police fire ambulance. I say police I've done this like I've called I've called emergency services. probably half a dozen times that guy yeah. Something on the phone always say something saw some kids start a bushfire one's really a whole park went up and flying and anyway so I
10:49
did that said police and then they they put you through to the police like unit The thing was it was ringing for so long running for ring for about a minute. So what time is 430 in the morning so doing well what I was saying is like so the person who like transfers you through this thing on the phone until you have the call through and so they just say that that's true like ringing and then I just placed hold on the line
11:21
that's the ring as I please hold on the line and then I'm literally like start having a conversation I say does it normally take this long to connect
11:29
what she said she said just repeated just place down the line. Yeah,
11:32
and so anyway, I got for I'm terrible with exact directions but I could hear because I was out the balcony at this point. The people above us had called the police and so anyway, but it was it was pretty exciting and I've watched I then we could see everything from our bedroom. So I spent from 430 until 7am on my side being in the live by mosquitoes it must happen every night you know you've got no next year for filming. Get the name getting it like a network go on the balcony the balcony I felt like I was too exposed. Now you're you're high up should
12:11
i have i mean what you're exposed he's going on the news and saying that your name is Josh Janssen you witness this crime and I put the video for it. Well, that's like saying I'm a rat's was that that wasn't that wasn't what was going to happen. So what?
12:24
So I watched everything. And so for people who have just joined the show haven't listened to the first hundred episodes. I spoke about how when I was an apartment, my last apartment, there was a fire at the next door's apartment which was more probably way more serious because its immediate danger to yourself like the fucking fire that house is on fire. The apartment was on fire next door and so I did a whole video I started as soon as I heard the guys Hey, everyone get out as a fire. I pressed record on the iPhone. I've got footage of me running out of the apartment and saying all the flights and stuff you saw from The X Files from the outside those flames from inside with initially next door It was like a doorway. Yeah.
13:09
And that it didn't ruin the wall. Well, so
13:11
that's what I thought because annoyingly like the way the fire was Yeah, I was the thing I didn't bring any of my hard drives or anything. And the other thing I remembered was like my phone like we're to record the offer content, but only for the content for now I'm not for and so they
13:30
Yeah, when I ran out I saw the flame was basically next to our bedroom. And so I was like a way down. Because the thing is that not only was it next to our wall, the wall which the fire was on, like coming up against Bray had this like stack of her perfume. Again, all these fucking small bottles. I was like, this is the perfect explosive device. She's got like 14 fucking bottles of perfume she since got rid of. But I'm I was worried. But surprisingly, between all the boats, I was super surprised. The flames didn't damage it at all.
14:07
Does it have a those sprinklers? The sprinklers do that
14:10
they went off. So they went off in their apartment so flooded our apartment. So they had to do all carpet sort of thing. Yeah. But the problem was that I put the video online. And Bray had this big event that she was running for work. Yeah. And I just cold. Just like I don't know if it was the right thing to do. But I just called it
14:30
the whole buildings on fire. I've made
14:32
it out for the whole building. This is just before she's like running the biggest event that she's ever done.
14:37
I mean, there is something about witnessing these things. That is mildly entertaining. It's like when the house next door blew caught on fire. And then I was following your life
14:45
very similar. But
14:46
I was directing a musical the place and and while I was filming, I did the exact same thing.
14:52
But I recall.
14:54
I think
14:54
she did. But everyone else had called like is the thing is a lot of things are being seen by other people if you want cop Yeah, hi chance. You're not the only one that has seen it.
15:03
But the thing is, when when that happened when the fire happened to my last apartment, yeah, I fell into the trap of engaging with the news. I just started my business full stack films. And I saw it as an opportunity where I'm like, I was at the stage of guerrilla marketing. Here we go. And so the like, Can we speak to like, so I saw, I was on the balcony. And they were like, Oh, do you want to come down and chat? So I spoke by lead everything with? Yeah, I've just started freelancing with my business full stack films. And I heard this explosion. And obviously,
15:38
the I mean, the only way you kind of like if you actually approach it with this, you use giving a serious account. Yeah, I think next time because you are the guy that will go to the media obey or you'll get taken in somehow your end up. Okay, I'll tell you my account
15:52
where it went wrong last time at the other fire apartment fire was that they asked me to come stairs. Are they sorry, they asked if they could come upstairs. have access, right? I was like, yeah, sure, you can get some shots. And so they were they set up the sticks the tripod out on the balcony. And that was fine.
16:11
And they said, Hey,
16:12
Josh, do you mind if you just come on to the balcony and just sort of look over. And it was a horrendous idea because what they were doing, which I didn't realize really until they left was it was a reenactment. So this footage and so I was also into a reenactment and I was working from home so I had the most horrendous neck view.
16:33
I think you should know you're a video person. You make him for a living but I've but I said don't you
16:40
know by said the rule. I was like so I spoke to win this Ram. Right? Yeah. And so after I spoke to triple zero, I think cold the local Collingwood police station and said, hey, I've got this footage. And they weren't really that interested. Yeah, I was like,
16:56
okay, whatever.
16:58
So that that was all done. They took my details. And then I was getting ready in the morning and there was all the news. I was watching every news channel coming out and getting you know, Channel Nine channel 10 channels from the Vatican, you can see all that sort of thing. And so that was all fine. I wasn't engaging at all. I was like, man, if only they knew I had this footage. And now I was walking, I decided to go to work. And normally I walk on the back streets. Yeah. And this was on a main road and Smith trail you
17:28
like to avoid any close contact with humans. Yeah, morning time is a bit like that. And
17:34
so this was the first time where I was like, Oh, you know what, I'll just, I'll walk past. And if there's some police there, I'll just shut them in. If I feel like the vibes, right. I'll just show them the footage. I'm like, this isn't this isn't me seeking attention. I'm just I if this is going to be helpful. I want to be helpful. Yeah.
17:54
And so I was walking and I saw a young police officer. I said, Hey, I just say no, I said quiet. I said, Yeah, I'm just I'm just up the apartment just up there. And I actually got footage
18:06
is your footage. I was like, yeah, and he's like,
18:10
I'll have it kind of look it's all Wow, he's like,
18:13
he turns to me guys. Now, channel 10 News is just there. And they're going to love this guy's
18:20
idea
18:22
goes on. This guy's got some actual footage of the ram raid and then to journos quickly walk I can't really can we say I'm showing it and then it goes out of focus and the police officer had a huge amount of investment right? Yeah, when you show someone something on YouTube Yeah, it's not it's a funny video but it's not funny in a certain bit. Yeah. So USA.
18:41
I thought funny in the 40 Yeah.
18:44
And so I already showed the police officer the video and so I'm showing them the video video and in the video there's a bit where it goes blurry.
18:52
Zooming on these fucking phone and the news is that it blood for me. Yeah.
18:56
But I just love how invested the police officer was in. Cuz he goes Oh, no, don't worry. It refocuses. He's saying this to the journos is it's all happening, right? And they're like, oh, could you add drop us that 40 inch? I was like, Oh, yeah. Okay. And they're like, actually, do you mind Do you mind if we get you on camera? Yeah,
19:15
I guess it doesn't,
19:16
doesn't hurt and so before you know what I had two cameras and two microphones, and they're asking me all these questions
19:23
that I think were if you want these I mean, it was great. It was awesome. Did you watch me on channel 10? I don't have a TV but I saw what you posted what we what we shared was a man shit. Oh shit I want to say
19:35
so mom said are the 6pm they really
19:39
the few things I worried about as soon as I heard that you were done by the news coverage. These dudes also have televisions. And now they know what apartment building you live in and what your full name is. Yeah, this is hey, I and missing
19:55
the here's the thing. Criminals dude. They fucking thank you many ideas tweaked? No, but I done I don't know. If I would tell me jackets and put my name on to any kilda you can find me but I don't know if I give my name on any eyewitness like I'd give over the footage.
20:14
Absolutely know what I'm speaking to if you're watching me if these are these? Listen here. I'm serious. He's taking us down as well.
20:23
Mr. 9725 days
20:24
straight. Come to the office. I prefer to you actually come
20:29
to fucking do the bashing Tommy jack I will have to do the bashing. come at us. I'm serious. Comment today you did the wrong thing.
20:38
I agree the wrong thing. But it's like people who do that kind of shit a tweet. This is where I but honestly, I was honestly like a fuck. That's a bit annoying what they they know these data.
20:51
The thing is criminals the fact that I was like the main witness in the whole story. They use my footage and all that sort of thing. And so the one thing is that like Ray wanted to go to we're looking for I'm trying to find a slim line bag. You know, at the moment, my laptop and stuff. Embrace it. Let's go to Mac pack, which was the place where it happened because I will open. So I don't want to because I know that all the Mac pack employees will know. I've definitely seen the footage rise and I'm the
21:19
boys me why how many people watch TV? Yeah, like I got a message from someone that I don't speak too much was like your mate from work is on the TV. Yep. Can you please next time trying to be a bit outrageous? Like bring some quirk like, like get Ruiz with it? Because otherwise it's just you just like, Yeah, I saw this because I
21:39
didn't want it to be silly. I was like, why did? Why not? Yeah. Well, because it was. And that's why was it? Because it always what happens is after that whole thing, you have all these ideas. It's it's very
21:51
heated, like live. It's like, Can we
21:54
do it again now? Like, I'll show you what I would have done. So you asked you asked me or whatever. I'll be the witness.
22:01
Hello Josh is it? Yeah, yeah. Mike, can you tell us a little bit about what happened as soon as you saw the incident? Yeah.
22:10
So I just heard a bang. And then I
22:17
thought now was a year and so I thought the good I always laugh at the guy who did the backing. Yeah. And so I thought that I would do this
22:26
character. Now we're out of here. And so that's where I was, that would have been good Sam to the car. And then a bit of a reenactment of the sound of the dude.
22:34
Come on. Yeah,
22:36
they really fucked up. And so the thing was,
22:40
that I definitely felt like after you
22:43
know, you gotta be careful.
22:44
I definitely had that little feeling of like, I'm already a little bit paranoid with stuff. Yeah,
22:49
but I genuinely feel that way. Like, I know you don't want to hear it. But it is like if you see some real bad crawling, and you put your hand up he's gonna go public like he like there
23:02
is about like, what about all the other thing about if you would going off to like Donald Trump or any like, big people at the moment? It feels very low level this stuff, but I did I
23:12
say junkies, like drug addicts transit. Dude, what are they gonna get from a fucking clothes store? They're gonna break in still 400 it was silly. $4,000 It's not that much to resell it is it actually have to
23:29
learn the business? Yeah,
23:31
I think you'll be fine for this one because I probably get away with it. I probably won't find these people. Yeah,
23:35
well, I did but I may try to be low key is the word like I'm so bad at Embry because I made located in what I said. Like I said to Bry I'm just like, I inevitably like I said, I'm the one annoying thing is that people in the apartment block or what? And then No, no Josh is like the narc we had a comment on Instagram. Someone said knock. Yeah.
24:03
We're saying rat rat. Yeah,
24:04
so basically like saying the rats Yeah.
24:07
And so they should be ratted on it's just about putting your name to the rat. And so I was just like,
24:12
I wonder like, I'm st probably seen as this attention seeker, whatever. But anyway, I just for whatever reason, I lean into these things. I was in the lift. And we say we made our next door neighbor for the first time. Yeah,
24:25
like you're right next door. Yeah.
24:27
And so I just can't how I actually it's almost an out of body experience. Where I see myself like Oh,
24:34
please tell me you open the video and like I didn't I didn't have the video
24:37
but what I said was I was like just get woken up by the ram right now I gone no heard about it. Like Yeah, I was on the news.
24:51
You fucking say the thing you guys are love to say that. I was like, Yeah, I said it was real Ponta mentality. But anyway. So please tell me you spoke like that as well. Yeah.
25:02
So anyway, to me, was a little bit. There is something about you where you are so aware, and then so are unaware, but maybe you're aware in the moments where you're coming across in a way. It's like this. The antibodies, you deciding to lose awareness. Yeah,
25:19
well, the moment what's the is definitely a little bit of
25:24
the guy on the balcony doing the reenactment. Yeah, I didn't have get to do any rain.
25:29
That was that would have been funny. But the other thing I've noticed that I did this morning, I don't know if you ever do this, I thought it was a little bit tweaked. So I thought I'd bring it up just to find drinking out of my thermos know your service. But now my tell you could actually you guys can play as my psychologist until we find me one.
25:47
Reason only seven doesn't answer phone calls for fuck sakes.
25:50
What do you think psychologists would? Yeah, right. a psychologist don't answer but Hey Josh Hey, feeling
25:55
well, if if I'm assigned to them?
25:59
I'm just talking about in general, I'm saying Mr. ICF. Doesn't his phone
26:02
phone do? Can you do psychology appointments for the phone Lifeline? Are those types of ones? Okay. Well, no. So I was I realized that this is maybe a little bit tweaked this morning. There's two lifts what a live chat today. Two lifts, which are elevators if you're outside of if you're in the US. And so we there's two lifts, that could be if they go up or down, you know, as lifts, two. And so I press the the one down button to be able to go down the lift. And it takes a while it doesn't show you which Lyft to get into until the Lyft arrived in the arrow of the correct one. And so
26:45
I walked over to one Lyft and I said to myself, if it's this Lyft I'm going to have a good day. If it's not it's gonna be a shit day. Yeah.
26:55
lousy
26:58
day. Luckily, it it was that late? Yeah.
27:01
But I was just like, fuck now.
27:02
I've played little games like that. You can it's just I think there's I don't think you like some people to take this to access. Do you
27:10
say like, oh, if I don't cross if I can cross the road before it goes red. It's going to be a great day. Yeah,
27:14
I've done a little things like that. If I if I get lots, the problem is when you start affirming the thought so if you get the right Lyft so it means the good day has always end up on this list. And then you the games off the table. And all you think is this Lyft means good day. Yeah, so I can't get into that. And then you actually stop writing that fucking Lyft I because you is the last one. Yeah. And then yeah, you have to take the stairs when that's broken. But then what does that mean?
27:41
It's all luck. What is it?
27:42
Well, so yeah,
27:44
we're giving it meaning. Right. Talking about like, I got a call from my brother Jake. Over the weekend
27:49
that lucky to get a call from jack. Well,
27:51
he got very lucky did he because he went to a pub. And they had betting bet on things. What do you mean? Like a tip? I guess? Okay, like a sports bed. And it was I didn't know you could bet on dogs. I thought dogs that was sort of no gray hands. I thought greyhounds that was in certain states. Maybe every person has a fucking Greyhound now. Yeah,
28:16
cuz they're all rescued from
28:19
because the industry not in certain parts. Or in some parts anyway. I don't know if that's true. So can you look it up? 97 around the gray hand right hand rising, Benny anyway. Got a call a voicemail from Jake. There was a dog called go 97
28:38
go 97 and so Jake's like a 97
28:42
This is a sign I'm going to put 10 bucks down on go 97
28:44
that's generous. 10 bucks. What do you want hundred and 10
28:49
far out? Yeah,
28:50
that was quite good. 97 The lucky number. I thought so. If you had any word on the Greyhound stuff? Yeah,
28:56
bands coming in at the top.
29:00
Okay, so just say camera. Yeah. How much dog racing is going on in camera? Maybe a lot. But I mean, there's so much noise around it being crew. I've been I've been to some of the races and shepherd and it's a big one. The trots,
29:12
like I'm just not into it.
29:14
Well you can bargain it I think it is
29:18
that new stuff the stuff that I did within the news. Very bad that's very bad, but it also feels like how many times can that happen again in my life?
29:27
It seems every day
29:28
Why have I been driving down the road and seeing a fucking hot air balloon coming down onto a main street? Why is the house burned down next to me and I've happened to capture
29:37
on your special
29:38
no I'm saying I look for the things I think you look for them to you're looking for them I think you attract I think you attract this stuff Mr. 97 What if you had having to unite anything nothing
29:52
he had five opportunities could have been something
29:56
using all of the power of the sacred on yet to happen the news I get
30:01
so situational things like the house burning down next to me the place next you the Lyft 20 down but I'm saying like I think there is a trace in humans that want to sort of looking for opportunities like I found some weird shit like think about all the things I've made videos about it's like I'm looking my filter is whatever all these people doing the amount of stuff I noticed that it doesn't Yeah, she's not looking
30:26
if I say if I say police lights and it's closed by the way we're on it bro head over there was like a big it looked like sort of like a terrorist response sort of thing in this city in Christmas. Christmas time. And I just like you're in there now I just like parked my car. Yeah,
30:43
watch we sort of full car pile up this morning. Because we're coming up on punt road massive just happened and the traffic was really bad. But as soon as we get past it I made a point that I was just like creeping past because I'm just like, just checking it out. Yeah, the person in the back is really really going hot into that the food cause the worst? I'm just taking getting a little I'm just wrapping some information around what happened then I zoom off Yeah, but I think Yeah, you and I definitely sort of I'm waiting around to see see if the fight actually happens. Yeah,
31:15
I thought I was gonna go real doc.
31:17
Well, any fatalities at all I was gonna say how many bodies we can see Actually, yeah,
31:22
stead so that's why I like Victoria straight in Collingwood the corner of Victoria and Atlantic's fights and sorry lightning. Yeah. And I feel like it's never going to be like, it's always amongst the, you know, the community there. They're all fighting.
31:38
What Yeah, we are in an out there suburb. It's good. Welcome to to the suburb. Yeah, welcome to Collingwood bro. Why were you knows I was gonna say but then I'm like, we work here. Everyone knows. Everybody knows. You know Mr. Josh Janssen.
31:53
I don't know, I think I said it to you off air. When I said, I said, I've decided that when I move on. I'm going to tell it any one of that song.
32:03
next minute, this is the
32:07
idea of like, you know, just being able to live a quiet life not telling anyone the suburb. And I've as 97 said, I would say I've cooked it do you think cooked it? Yeah.
32:16
I saw so just quickly. I won't go read this whole note. But I saw a guy on Facebook who I used to work with the radio station. He He's an actor, and he does want us to act like ads and he's been in a few TV show. Yeah, a few corporate like a bank ad. Yeah, going around putting the cat anyway, he's posted this thing it says my first ever fan letter and somehow the guy finds my home address and sent it to me it is the weirdest later I'll just show you Josh I'm gonna put it up because I want to keep his privacy. But the dude is written this full page letter and at the bottom got a photo of him and put his full name and said can you please sign here?
32:58
That's a good I don't think that's creepy. I reckon that someone entrepreneurial who thinks this guy is going to be someone? No, dude, this
33:04
guy's creepy. How? How do you if you get a piece of mail to your home address and your you haven't put your thing out there for people to be sending like we do with the P o box 400 episode, send us you can send it to there but if someone sent today, it would make sense if someone sent it to your home Linda box. And I'll just read you the start of the letter is named after Dr. That I'm writing this letter, which I'll keep brief. As I appreciate the time is precious. I'm writing to read a precious precious. Yeah, I'm writing to respectfully request an autograph from you. Firstly, firstly, firstly, please forgive my intrusiveness. If this address is not the most appropriate to send a request like this. If you're stating that it's inappropriate like if you're going maybe it's inappropriate let me know your it's been very inappropriate. If you can find the time to personally autograph the homemade fan card sent with this little I would be extremely grateful in case you're wondering I obtained your address through the electoral roles and do not share any details so he's fully he's been transparent about the fact that this is the roles so that means the electoral roles I think you can see where someone like when someone leaves so I'm so if you lived out in the burbs and then moved to Hollywood but never change your dress. You'd be on the electoral rolls out
34:27
but it would give suburb it wouldn't give full address
34:30
the guys find found full address interesting so but that was creepy Yeah, there's some crazy i get i get that but by yo
34:37
bar yeah box 400. Abbotsford Victoria 3067 if you want to send us anything crazy because I just I check it every fucking week. Yeah, nothing renewals I'm going to pay it remind other thing I need to pay what ambulance cover you've mentioned that we
34:55
have to do that today. If you need to tie your amulet
35:00
you've got gotta pay your ambulance Yeah sure. Yeah Easter is coming up yes that's also the time to change your to check your batteries in your smoke detectors. Really?
35:10
What where's that
35:11
are because you worked at the fire brigade it's a big they use the early April around Easter as a just a time I think they even get maybe the Energizer Bunny involved Yeah. There's actually a difference between smoke detectors and smoke alarms
35:26
What's the difference? I can't remember which is which one to take someone along Yeah, so the detect should alarm you as well once the smoke arrived I think the
35:37
I think detector might smoke a nice place I have a feeling that the this for some reason. I feel like this smoke alarm is actually the proper ones that are used commercially. Okay. And smoke detector is what we would have like I would have one in my hand. Yeah. Interesting. smoke detector. Here we go. Nice seven Have you have you find a bank?
36:01
Yes, a smoke alarms a multiple station smoke sensing devices around the home. That sounds like they connect together. Whereas the smoke detectors is self contained. Yeah,
36:12
sorry. Yeah,
36:14
just like there. I think I think it's like that. Yeah.
36:18
The other thing is, a smoke detector is strictly a sensing device only, which senses the products of combustion smoke and sends a signal to a building's fire alarm system to activate an odd audible that would be your building would have one of those and sometimes visual warning or alarm smoke detectors must be connected to a building's fire alarm system and not a standalone unit.
36:47
Yeah so you what you what would you have in your sort of newer complex
36:50
no idea connected to the full
36:53
system that would tell everyone Yeah, yeah, well, that was good. Yeah.
36:58
High Fidelity talk show dot com is the email admin wise we need to when you get to three day deal and and focus on the getting here. Yeah,
37:07
