fun guy, New Balance Basco is that some form of campaign that they're doing? So the fun guy thing is called whitelisted, a basketball player. He's saw my new balance, but he's actually like a really sort of boring guy like the way he speaks. He's quite boring. But when he got traded to the Raptors, he had a like a press conference and like, Is there anything you want to tell us about us? Like,
0:39
I'm a fun guy. It was just was he being funny? It's hard to tell he's one of those guys is the new balance and it picked it up and turn. Yeah, yeah, to be honest, I actually don't know if this is like a legit New Balance because he had
0:55
this isn't like this is just like a Disney internet thing. I just thought it was hilarious. Where'd you get it from?
1:00
Internet Etsy or something like that. Can you see if we can get a fun guy t shirt Mr. nicer you bet see if they actually released it and how much it was how much did you pack? Like 20 bucks? Yeah Nice. I mean I did I bought a T shirt that was a photo of Louis through the documentarian and it said by that's like a love heart. There's something fun about it so yeah t shirt. Yeah, very cute. So if you've if you're watching or listening this is Josh Janssen brother middle brother I'm the youngest you know I'm the middle
1:35
of this is completing the full brother circle or yeah we had James on that would have been really nice yeah pretty hundred currently have James got on before me. Well, now we have to get him on because he's not living this true. Is this true? He's been around we've asked you to come on but you management is finally said it's okay. Yeah, I must get clearance, something I had a realisation
1:56
when I was looking at our tickets for our live show.
2:00
We're just sold out so you can't get any more. Sorry about that.
2:03
Your mom got one. So your mom's coming, you're coming. But what I noticed was the mom has a domain, the Janssen com that I use. Yeah. And then I thought, hang on fuck me, Josh. Jake James. Do the Australian Kardashians.
2:21
Kylie Kendall
2:24
cares more this morning, Courtney good. Yeah, this trialling Kardashian, the bug.
2:33
Female so I'm just thinking to the email go through. Yeah, so we've been doing a big server migration. And what happened was all of my all my hobby sort of a met like websites that I have or friends, I'll get them onto my server so then I have to pay anything and I am in and missing 97. The other day asked, I can I just update the server? It was just like, oh,
3:00
Yeah, like I was impressed the button. Yeah. Okay. He presses the button. The whole server goes down. Yeah, not just goes down. But when we contacted the web host there, and 97 said, Hey, we're having some issues. They're like, Hey, here's some recovery software, basically Good luck. And good 97 you weren't really equipped to be able to use the recovery software. So maybe have a few late nights, he was up at 12 to four. Well, that wasn't even then because what happened was the websites just went down. And so then we had a crisis meeting where we're like, hey, the big media company full stack films, all these websites are down.
3:41
Now we could either fix it on our current server, our current solution, or we can move baby 97 from the responsibility of managing the whole server thing keeping updated. We pay a bunch more, and we go for home web hosted in Neri Warren are now is actually nary. Yeah
4:00
I think I looked them up. I think I saw it on LinkedIn. I think they are. And so anyway, very familiar. They all those guys look like I went to school with them. Anyway, although Thompson muscle Yeah, absolutely. You know it. And so anyway, what ended up happening not only did our websites go down for the transition, there was a few things that happened and big media companies email stopped working. And then Brady's dad, who has a web just sort of set up a set up a basic website for him. It just so happened that he tried to show a client his website, and not only did it not show anything, it had just showed this like Josh Janssen page. So it was a good look. So hang on ever we migrate all these people on to our server here we will Yeah. And so what's the kickback? What are we charging them? Nothing.
4:49
I mean, yeah, I mean, well, I was covering it personally before then. And so we're just, we're just catching up. So is the Jetsons.
4:56
So the Janssen would just it's just a very basic direct line.
5:00
holding some name server or DNS records for a low level MX record stuff as Jake God, I do have Jacob the Janssen but I don't think I've ever used it. I think I said, Yeah, I think I said everyone
5:14
Yeah, because I put a Josh Enterprise
5:20
cash. Well, yeah, there was a because there's Janssen pharmaceutical or something and so we couldn't get Janssen so the janssen.com JUO bad not bad. So mean being middle brother. Yeah, in the equation with a brother like Josh. I think you guys are all slightly different James is you know, the
5:44
James is very different. Actually merges down like you guys are closer to looking and being of a similar nature. But then it's like my older brother. He's, he looks different to us. So he's like, what was mom doing? Yeah.
6:00
mean definitely. James definitely has different vibes. Yeah. What's it like? What was it like growing up with Josh?
6:07
It was it was different
6:12
it was different
6:16
luck he was obviously very endearing to a degree but just what? I haven't heard that we've never spoken about what I was actually like, Okay, well let's do this. Let's do this right now. Okay. You were he was all he was a snitch. I'll tell you the real snake is still a rat. He faces something down dad first with his phone and calling the father
6:38
just any opportunity to just just niche and obviously like we we punished on all the time. And this is this is what was your favourite snitch looking back that is? Ok.
6:50
So there's a couple of those one time because so good.
6:54
Well, I was a rat bag as a kid like I was pretty remember really good snitch.
7:01
Okay, so a couple. Yeah. I'll go one. You tell me yours. So this time, my parents had gone away for the weekend.
7:11
Well, yeah, Josh would have been maybe 1112 No, so I was 13. I was 16 or 17, which means he would have been 14 there abouts. Yeah. And I was just you know, I think during the CDs I went out I just left us sort of, you know, to do our own thing. What were they doing in the city?
7:31
Like the Novotel
7:33
the LC every now and then that is that is this stuff a breakfast? Yeah, yeah. But um, so they just sort of left us to do our own thing. And I remember it was like a Friday night and I wanted to walk walk down the street to a party. I had some nights made up with me, we went to a party. And
7:56
we there was other parties going on, and how we going to
8:00
Get to the other parties is obviously before Uber and everything like that, and we can we're going to get to the other parties. But well, I'll just drive and obviously I didn't have my licence or you didn't have a car. So us so dad's car, which was not the Ford and those are the eight lane. Yeah. Holden yeah so old 1962 called me KU. So like, wasn't the SS but this stands out Why
8:25
did a burn out in the you know, as well? Yeah, I did it. But that was another time. Then he snitched on too. Yeah, yeah.
8:32
himself doing it burn out in dead dude. Yeah, but this time in particular. So we went to these parties, you know, and like, I was addicted like I was drunk driving. As a 16 year old. We had a couple of nights in my car. If anything happened, we would have been like, we would have been stuff. So don't you think that that's fair? 97. That was snitching on someone who's drinking and driving and drinking and driving all that he knew. The only thing that he knew when he found out about was we drove to this party, and we drove to a couple parties but we drove to this one in particular
9:00
KO anyway,
9:02
the next Monday at school
9:05
one of Josh is actually upset about this
9:10
one of Josh is someone in Josh his classes comes up to Josh. He's like, Oh, your brother's got a really cool car. And I can I just say, there's something very annoying about what annoys me more, I think is the idea that Jake's flashing these cars it's like when you try and be too flashy and sort of, I like to cut that shit down and be like, do you know the reality you know, Tommy doesn't own that. He's still got a couple years left to pay. Anyway, so so
9:42
real flesh. And so when James when Jake's flexing his I got the car was I wasn't even flexing that was my brother. So cool. Brother. So cool. The coolest car sometimes you sleep at details to someone compliments you on somebody? Yeah. Thanks. But Josh let my brother
10:00
doesn't have a car oh this kids yeah he does he wrote out to this body and I can just imagine like seeing Josh his eyes just light up just Yeah, I've got
10:12
a nice niche. But what was the punishment? I don't think my parents believed. I don't think there was any real repercussions. Yeah, I feel like Jake was like a big lie a big big liar. Absolutely yeah
10:28
he's really
10:30
super honest these days but up until one of the things I dove on your about
10:39
I remember when I broke out one of your life. Yeah, I remember that. Yeah, I was. I was talking it was when I was dating this one girl. And he told that girl that I was talking on the phone to another girl just
10:51
just talking you you were kissing the other girl. And so yeah, anyway, so I so I said so there was all this shit going on.
11:00
I can't have it anymore. I say took it upon himself to say their names and say Christie, you know, he's been kissing Steph or whatever it was. I can't remember Emma. And so anyway, yeah, I've done a bit when it comes from MMO in the circle and someone's reading from the inside of you circle your family. See brotha it's Fox. That is what I just remember feeling like that when the people I love
11:33
your brothers do something like that or no. Maybe maybe Mikey.
11:39
He might rest on maybe now. We're all pretty good. We all normally wouldn't read on each other. Yeah, but I definitely I definitely had my own flaws. I ruined one of Jake's birth. This was the thing Jake was always very hyperbolic, very sensitive. So anytime, anything would happen. small thing could happen. So it was his birthday. It sort of position at the
12:00
Like this is the only time that we ever look at me like this is my one day. Attention is not on Johnny kind of was
12:08
like, yeah, tension was always on Josh. So
12:14
what was the attempt? Because he made the attention on yourself
12:19
faces with a camera
12:22
camera for us now.
12:26
Jake in the fat man you were I couldn't sing. I was the fat man. I was the singer you were the iris you had all the skills. So from an attention point of view you had the front man. You had the cool hair. You had the getting all the girls, I wasn't really getting girls.
12:44
All of that sort of stuff. And you make excuses why it was okay.
12:50
What I'm saying what I'm saying what I'm saying is my the attention that I managed to get came out of extreme adversity.
13:01
Anyone interested in terms of Josh is white Yeah, was he actually his fat as he takes was the fattest kid yeah honestly he was the fattest kid like he was a big boy like and because man especially stood out because main giants very very skinny when we were younger obviously I'm not anymore but um yeah when we're young we're very skinny and then those the fat kid and yeah obviously being a pro paid him out of course I'm hating savage existence in it within a three boys Mr. Nice part of three where I'm a part of three your poetry Yeah, like like I'd eat biscuits from the the cupboard like you know I'd go to the cupboard Angel the quatro biscuits which were like I think, yeah, they had like nuts in that really good or whatever. And like he didn't know what they are.
13:49
But I remember Josh like busted me eating him or whatever. And I'll yeah, I was just like smashing these VCs I'm telling mom like, who she gonna believe
13:59
she can't believe the facts.
14:02
It was actually is strange because quattro is I pretended for the lifetime of my existence I didn't like what throws and so I whenever mom would say do you want to catch up I don't like what choice because I knew saying no to one now this is me to later as the ultimate its
14:21
correlation between that and a drug addict
14:25
trading and breaking the Simon cynics infinite game right there. Let's play the infinite not the finite game Well, like I would do the same thing whereas like yeah, like I'd put the like I'd eat something and put the rabbit in he's been and then
14:38
we got to think ahead so I put the rapper in my own being and then I'd set him up Why would I put the referee my like Josh is putting rappers in my being where it's really Kim just fucking he's made it even easier for
14:50
him manipulative little. Yeah, the word where I've ruined his birthday apparently was it was when I was old enough I would have been like 15 old enough to
15:00
I'm walk home from school, and I got home first. And there was a lemon cake
15:07
on the kitchen bench
15:10
before anyone got home and so I made an incision where I cut
15:16
directly down the middle and directly down the middle again. So it's like a slice like that. And then put the two half circles back together and put the icing over it. And the
15:28
problem was
15:31
because he like it, because I'm coming home. And the cake went from being this like, beautiful circle to weed.
15:43
Just
15:48
like you soccer path for doing that. I thought yeah, it was very inventive.
16:00
He's getting away with it yeah it's like that that level you know where like a drug addict will go to to get their fix that was just you trying to get your feet yeah what are some of the positive things
16:12
positive we made some great videos together yeah no i like it was definitely you know for the better part it was very fun you know is it like I did a lot more with Josh and it with James like mean James played video games together we played sports together
16:27
What's his age gap between you between each of us so yeah James two years me to each Josh yeah four years project yeah I think like the one Thanks for clarifying there was a thought it had everyone's like how does that make sense so today yeah we're for
16:44
and so anyway so yeah I'm the same but exactly the same but for which I can't Jake and I dude my god get him involved with all the like the early podcasting stuff like we did the vlog like them the old video of the dragon your show with Jake and Josh show that
17:00
was fun was it was fun was Jake and Amir and then we modelling it off. Remember that college humour? I do? Try and chat with him in LA and who did you? Did you try and model it to the two of you I think we're really modelling it's why wasn't it now? I think it was just like it. That was all that was on like you were just watching whatever was online. Yeah, I did buy one of their silly t shirts.
17:22
sandwiches itself sandwich. I'd like to talk. Yeah. So I got that which has grown a lot. Yeah. And I also use Google shirt. Oh, yeah.
17:32
It says sometimes when I'm alone, I google myself. Yeah.
17:38
Yeah, I was very into the novelty t shirt. Yeah, what were you into as a kid? Because I think Josh had you know we pretty strongly
17:48
Let's not talk about Josh for a sec. I get it guys. That's been the narrative near that, but I'm actually curious. Yeah. What were you into
17:59
music
18:00
love music love playing music and going to say gigs and stuff I used to love band mixing I go band mixing all the time. Yeah, I've got I bought a new BMX. I bet a year ago. can't ride anyone like, like do tricks or anything. You just lose that from not riding. Yeah, um, what else you self taught? guitar? Yeah, taught myself how to play guitar.
18:22
Which I wonder like if I hadn't had the lessons if I hadn't been any good. Second, you're also very good at like Indonesian, a different languages. I still, I still know a little bit of Indonesia. I pick up whenever I speak to somebody who's speaks a second language. Always try to like learn some words. That is funny. Interesting. Yeah. And I feel like Jake was always told that he was, which was always annoying for me, but he was smart. He had said like he could do amazing and ease exams. He didn't have to like do any tests like you just run membership. No, I couldn't remember anything.
19:00
Well what episode we had today? For 91.
19:06
There was also like Jake would do things like the teacher, he would pull his pants up.
19:12
And there was an older teacher who was like, not a great community communicator. And so Jake would pull his pants up and so when my pant legs and his pants happened, the teacher would say, jack, pull your pants down and he pulled these pants down.
19:33
So, yes, sir. Yeah, you also got in trouble for the blacklist, you created a list of people that you're gonna kill. And they thought you were they thought it was fucking Yeah. I made like a it was like a heat list. Yeah, yeah.
19:47
Yeah. Sounds good. Yeah, I think that it's like fucking post Columbine and all that sort of thing. And you got this kid putting together a list. Yeah, but it was just like people. It was like all my friends are on there.
20:00
You're not going to give me You're not going to give me one of your chips. That's all right.
20:06
Matt. So it was a little bit like you tell me where it's like
20:10
that you have a bunch of teachers that are against you. And so then you lean into it and all these sort of things to antagonise. Of course, of course. Did you ever get suspended or
20:21
like internal suspensions or I just had to go sit in the office and that should issue Yeah, and we did you get that Josh or not? Oh, hang on the relationship Josh had with these teachers what we think of that? Because from the outside right now, it's still weird. It was a little weird. There was definitely like a few a few teachers was like, Oh, that's an uncomfortable. That's, that's a weird look. Ben
20:44
was always on the inside, like inside of that. Hang out with the in.
20:51
Like the staff room. Yeah, I think I didn't practice this.
21:03
over the holiday period I was there a lot yeah, yeah. But um yeah, I mean, I think they realised that I wasn't
21:10
I didn't have many friends in regards to like you're a floater. Yeah. Ever nobody really disliked him. He just didn't have like, really solid taught friendship groups.
21:22
voted. Do you have friends from high school? Yeah, I primary schools. Yeah, yeah. Um, there's probably five or six people are still saying speak to from primary school. It's only seven. Do you have like the primary school buddies? Everyone's from promise. Jason Andre. They're both promises. Both parish Oh, yeah. I cannot grow. Yeah, praise You for the year for. Let's move forward. When I met Andre and then year six. I met Jace. And then year seven. When we went to high school, Jason I became better friends because Andre was at cuna IQ origins
22:00
coconut curry missing 97 can't believe when I tell storeys of like the punch on you
22:09
have any specific things around I remember when we lived in Huxley's you remember Huxley we I think we fought at Hawksley actually was like we were renting it because we were going to move into it will moving into a new house and it was a two storey I think I remember what you're going to say there's a there's a couple of situations was on the bike One of them was with the box and one of them was with the book having a bike race
22:34
with some of the night like neighbours kids you know we all have our bikes are killing the guy mouse smash anyway, Josh, isn't it funny because I've never swear haven't spoken about this in since five years since it happened. But I'm 2520 years we've
22:50
been with Bray for 15 years. Maybe see 14 days or so.
22:58
You
23:00
But if you think about so as I was about 1415
23:03
when we're there, and I would have been 1212 so 12 and I'm 29 now 17 years yeah, yeah
23:14
yeahs a long time since we've talked about it. So it's curious. It's interesting that I, we have this prompt Yeah, essentially 17 years ago. So he, Josh, I don't know, he was like, I guess in charge of like the finish line, the finish line. And so like you tied like a, like, he tied a finish line. You know, like you say, when people run through the finish line, like Yeah, well, ribbon, whole rock and roll.
23:40
So I'm like tearing it up.
23:43
Like, you know, going through, and then I get clothesline by these roads, like, straight through the neck, and like, like a head like a rock band. Like if I hadn't been gone a couple of decades faster.
23:59
And you got a dead brother.
24:00
Did you know that that was gonna happen? Now?
24:04
Not everything was positioned as this will be funny. Yeah, it's like the uncle that I handcuffed by that was
24:12
that was the same five years. I can think I got clothesline and like my immediate thing was I think he was like nearby and he tried to ride away from he was on the bike is what I get off like, because I was already off my bike. I fell I saw him and obviously like he had like had a stupid smile on his face or whatever his routes was not the one he's got right now.
24:31
Except he was backing away and I just kicked the side of his bike so he fell off and just started laying in top. Yeah, do you remember that? Yes. Or another one that Hawksley where you met was over because my friend Matt reminds me about this is like remember that time that Josh tried to hit you with the golf club or whatever? Cuz he tried it inside. He's been a few Golf Club. Yeah. Yeah, the mood.
24:55
But he tries to eat me the golf club and I'd like just timed it perfectly and I grabbed the golf club.
25:00
As he was swinging at me, and Matt, remember, like, just remember that as Josh just screaming, so I grabbed the thing, and like I just throw it down so I don't need a club.
25:10
And he just goes
25:14
after him. Yeah, because Jake would like you wouldn't do the whole. This is the guy that had a hit list.
25:21
And so he was saying he was like, I'm gonna fucking kill you. Well, I used to get in so much trouble from like, Josh would just like, like, antagonise me in antagonise me and poke me and poke me do all these things. And then I'm beat the shit out of him. And mom would be like, Jake, you're a psycho.
25:39
This little sheet. Yeah. What about like, I remember climbing up the stairs like chasing you up the stairs at Huxley wearing rollerblades who's wearing lights and he's running away from I don't know what he did but something
25:56
and I tried to kick him and he closed the door at the same time.
26:00
Like my
26:05
rental that sort of stuff happened a lot my yeah my head went through a wall
26:12
James James is more violent. It wasn't like I'm curious to say I honestly believe like I could beat the shit out of it. Yeah like back back in the day and probably now
26:25
I mean any thought any any side of that you can you to do a
26:31
rather say the brothers Brother Brother Brother
26:36
ya know
26:38
always had shoulder issues
26:41
German yeah yeah What were you doing how'd you just clicking like it I can use the crack I can real noisy and I saw some bass or the den on basketball stadium saw some horrendous dislocation so
26:58
James's team
27:00
Man three times have you ever broken a bone? No not all my nose I fell off my bike and land on my face and Oh, what is some good memories?
27:11
Ah Did you know that mom's gonna listen? She's a bad memory away landed us I'm fucking suing
27:18
she wouldn't say that by the way the bad memories always stick but it's a really fun time. Oh absolutely like when when Josh like first started making his movies and like we'd make like I remember we made like little parody episodes like home and away and stuff but panel, the panel that was fun.
27:37
There's got to be Stevo and it's like the adventure that was cool. That was good. Yeah, we used it when we did play Was it me or you that would lose and probably me Yes. Yeah. When it was the classic would playing PlayStation and I actually know it was you doesn't say my something I'll do when you whenever you're losing, you press the reset button, which would be network so remember that
28:00
We actually had a lot of fun playing Duke Nukem time to kill a good game. Tony Hawk Pro skateboarder, turn on instant grind.
28:13
Cheat Sheet codes. Yeah, we had
28:18
one other thing. What about if we go back really early? The computer stuff in the early days was fun. Yeah, like Mother Goose. Oh, yeah, Wolfenstein 3d. Did you remember playing a game called Torrens passage? No, I think I play that by myself.
28:33
Yeah, there was also we had this um, you remember the free internet. Sharon Kay your listen to so you pay for the phone connection. But then you use the special web browser and they just had ads on the actual browser.
28:50
It was like as a special one and actually had to look it up nice. It was like free internet browser and 90s Australia.
29:00
That was interesting. Napster and lots of thing will ride into all the like downloading all that we use tech heavy is Joshua. I'm not I mean, I used to know my way around it a little bit but yeah, just knowing the same level like Josh was yeah on a different level. But I was also should I didn't like I just I was into Max and all that sort of thing. Yeah. And I couldn't really believe man. So let's see who says you
29:27
recently did. Was it app was it Steve, not Steve Jobs. Microsoft did they gobble up Netscape? Like in that documentary it was that them that sort of they did. Yeah. They ruin Netscape next Netscape tried to sue them. Was that them? Yeah, I think so. Yeah, there was a bunch of stuff in that early. I think they realised that the browser was going to be the thing. And if they could, you know, take control of the browser. One thing that I brought in the show, I was just gonna say, maybe you could say a few nice things about your mom.
30:00
Just because you mom. Yeah, my mom's great. Yes. Lovely.
30:04
And the thing is,
30:07
how do you describe mom?
30:09
She's very Mama's funny. Yes, she's hilarious. A bit
30:16
in moments completely rational and hilarious and like the most sort of rational person or whatever. But then if you were if something would happen, I guess she would blame it on having three boys would be like solid excuse, get that little bit of crazy or whatever about stuff and get very annoyed. You heard him Josh, his voice that he does. Yeah, I think my voice is exactly. Josh.
30:45
Sorry, Lynn. Yeah.
30:52
It was always whatever it was.
30:55
Nothing was is actually nothing was I agree with you
31:00
Shit, especially if they scrambled but they're always always very good at like driving us and start like Jake, we had a really privileged good
31:09
childhood yes from the huge sacrifice, having three kids and we lived in like in the in the suburbs that we're in, we're in the best suburb in the southeast. Like really nice houses and all that sort of thing we had, like, Jake had room to be able to ride his bike and do all the BMX stuff. I made videos on that sort of shit. We were an excellent National Park river, your brother, your other brother, James, who was just so heavily invested in basketball, was he getting it? So he wasn't dead on basketball setting like four days with Blackburn as well? Yeah, yeah, it was a Blackburn, you know, playing for them. So he's life like, that's what his life was just sports like basketball, tennis, and probably the main two, I think 40 when he played 40, and then the so Jake, and I managed Jake's band. So all this stuff where I was a real sheet that was sort of from
32:00
Say
32:02
1995 to 2008 put it What did you
32:10
What did you so I started managing the band
32:14
manage the website, I was a witness.
32:18
I never called a venue
32:21
a single gig by like as far as like, what would I do stuff like promo stuff like, you know, you helped us so to speak is like, I mean I designed a couple of the you know, like the album cover or the EP cover the CDs that I got, like,
32:36
you know, organise all that sort of shit pressure the CDs of the actual Yeah. How exciting was that? That was awesome from DH found a full box of Really? Probably like 200 of them. Yeah, when I just said my parents house was a full box. well
32:53
can we give some out of the EP 500
32:56
Has anyone ever seen a Dr. CD
33:00
CSMDM China trying to think the other. Yeah, I mean, the thing is that we enjoy this. We have such vivid memories. It feels like so many things
33:14
happen like the marine Villa like because mom and dad were going out one night and they'd met this couple there were a nurse in a police officer. And they were like, well, we can look after your kids while you go out. And then that was when I hit. Was it you or James James James at the golf club.
33:33
The thing is, I had was a bad
33:36
they would always
33:38
Yeah, I mean, he's okay.
33:42
Yeah, and so I'm I'm just
33:45
embarrassed in my
33:47
deal, which is probably fair.
33:51
It was
33:54
sport wise. You played a bit of basketball. Yeah, but you never got into 40 No, I never
34:00
Fight for the played tennis. Yes. And I could swim. I'm not good. That was one thing I could always be because James obviously like really competitive with sports is better than me and basketball is better than me at tennis but I could always beat him in swimming and I knew it killed him.
34:15
Because we had the the pool at our house and you know, we race and I knew every time I beat him, it just killed him a little bit him so I'm like, yeah, hold on to that James.
34:25
Brothers, a brutal siblings a brutal ZD like, what do you relate to with this stuff? Like, ah, I mean, we were the four year gap between me Mikey.
34:38
We were We were close because the gap was eight years between me my eldest brother. We became close as we got older because when I when I'm bloody 12 He's 2020. Yeah, it's a he's a. he's a he's an adult, human human. He's an adult that wants to go out and do shit and I can I'm just little kid in grade six.
35:00
So I get that but yeah bit different bit different. But Jake was very good at the, like the writing songs. So feed your monkey was the band that I was had a very small part in managing their web website
35:17
but yeah that you did the hot they went to what the basin and the base in in the game you know set the suburb Sydney baronial beach super club of what I'd like is one of those big out of suburbs pub clubs
35:33
like a suburb Okay, and so that's where they recorded their own pace and studios we used to go to
35:40
and yeah like we recorded a couple of AP like to a page and an album. Yeah, that was me see only saves Can you look up middle brother syndrome and then look up younger brother syndrome because we're Josh and I both younger brother so we can find out because the middle brother thing is always been like the middle brother.
36:00
You know, yeah, it's a little brother. I mean is always because Jackie always felt because I had VC. So the final two years of my school, I would go to the Victorian College of the Arts and like film and TV and do that, and James did the basketball stuff. And you were doing music, but I think that you felt growing up, you're like, people don't spend enough time taking me to gigs. Like as my
36:25
mom and dad, they always like, supported when I started playing gigs, like, you know, playing gigs wherever we went, my parents would come like me go to the SP like, remember what the SP used to be like before was done. I should know. Yeah, exactly. But it's like you go there. Please play there a lot. Yeah.
36:44
Like we go there on like a Saturday night way like that place gets pretty crazy on so yeah. Lynn and Richard just come along. They bring a few of their friends and my kids. Lynn, Lynn and Richie. You're going to be at the 500th gig. Yeah, just like this is like our shows too.
37:00
She's to put on in these in the lounge room. Did you find anything with an ICF? middle kid or middle child syndrome? Yeah, they're often ignored and often grow resentful of all the parental attention given to the eldest and the baby of the family and often feel short shifted middle children have to try a little harder to be heard or get noticed. That's relatable
37:25
for the middle brother that's middle brother and then you're the you're the middle Yeah, middle. Do you feel that? You get it? This is good to entice kids. I can not know I shouldn't I shouldn't feel well.
37:38
He's so numb. Yeah, yeah, no, I
37:42
know I feel like mom and dad have
37:45
eldest like Sam, I think he not caught it, but he's like school because he's the first one to go through everything right? You have to like, my dad is super, super strict in terms of like school, like, do you like to have this whereas like, with me, there's more laid back
38:00
IMZ it's like even more laid back so given up my 97 enter scores so clearly the laid back thing Yeah, yeah. Most interesting I think our schools that were interesting that we went to Yeah, younger brother still funny thing say time is not really a syndrome for young well I mean there's definitely tried yeah yeah it's it's definitely sort of widely considered that I guess the younger child gets more you know, because it's like that. You know, quite often the the parents are like more developed and they have the the provisions to give more and do more. Well, my eldest brother, when he was young had a party. Mom made carrot cake, cheese.
38:44
Chocolate, the chocolate the dogs get carrot. It's literally you can buy it from a dog pet store carrot chocolate for dogs.
38:52
By the time I have my parties, it was an ice cream, ice cream cake every big, big football shape.
39:00
Rice cash shake and I get a cake. That's been
39:08
one thing that Jake's very good at. I think he's spelling.
39:12
And also a trivia, like extreme. I don't mind a bit of trivia.
39:17
Unless you found the younger brother. I reckon do some trivia, trivia and spelling, no joke, just real off a bunch of trivia? They'll be a treat. Yeah, trivia.
39:28

40:49
his mom and dad love that of us they don't say they're not really wants to say I love you. Mm hmm. But they do. They they provide their love based on in the early days.

41:10

41:20
