It's the daily Talk Show Episode 655 already, can you believe it? 654 650 I screwed it up because I didn't come to us. I didn't didn't trigger it properly. That's okay. Wait a
0:19
minute. How however is to capital gronk you know, a few shows in
0:24
few shows in for the day. That could be why Josh I'll give you that. It's an old our cheese. Cheese. What are you drinking? Oh, look at you. I had the rule guys that are
0:37
not drinking till Friday, I think is last week. I almost drank every day. I would it would have you got there. So you've got your smoothie. Okay, it's a nightmare doing it in reverse. Look at my cup bars. It's very clear the missus. And the missus is that I drink from a cup.
0:55
You are living the dream. TJ
0:58
I haven't I've a ticking time bomb in the
1:00
car in the garage?
1:02
Not, yes, birdie child bomb.
1:06
He hasn't done a poll today. And I hope he has given himself. He's got no nappy on. And he's asleep and has been for 3035 hour and 40 minutes now, which means that he's any moment we'll get up. And I've, this is what I've done. I've, I've set up the TV, and so it's going. It's a movie that runs for an hour and a half. So even if he sleeps for another half hour, I can take him upstairs and put him there, but I'm little in the show today. I know you guys aren't the people to lean on when it comes to parenting tips. But I want to lean on I'll give you some you guys. Yeah, I knew that's how I brought it to guy that would give parenting advice here and advice monster
1:52
sets, set sort of feedback around screens. How are you feeling about at the moment? I don't know.
2:00
No Schiff when he when he told us to limit screens until they're sort of four or five, I don't think he facted you know, working from home and a pandemic breakout. I don't know if that was factored in. Yeah, I think that one I got Can you guys just talk? I'll be bashful
2:18
sibs. Yeah. Can we can we talk about your catfish?
2:24
Yeah, sure. So it is a catfish. Well, so you were saying, you've really doubled down on it now. You received a message from someone who was like, Hey, I love you, like and from this city, and they probably
2:41
wasn't great. And it was a photo of the person who had it in the text. It was sent via sort of the Instagram.
2:50
What is it called? Like? It's like a snapchat feature. Yeah, it's Instagrams disappearing photos in your DMS. And so you received this. Do you know how
3:00
Long this person's been following you for
3:03
No, I think I mean, I think it's pretty recent.
3:06
I would say last last couple of days. Okay. And they said that they've been liberated was he found that three days ago? Okay, so they said that they've been listening since April 30. Yeah. And then real specific last year. Yeah.
3:23
And so I straightaway said, not that you're interested anyway. But I said my catfish catfish.
3:32
What do you think?
3:34
Yeah, I mean it's it's it's looking more and more like it is a catfish.
3:41
Yeah, it's, it's quite hot. Why are we talking about grace? Is she not real?
3:48
now serves serves received a message from someone
3:54
that was saying that they love him and sent to different two different
4:00
messages and then start talking about the shot room. I don't think I don't think this person's legit. Who I mean, you went?
4:09
Yeah. I want to have you read the messages yet or? No, I haven't read the messages out yet. Can you do that? This is juicy. Jason I didn't know about this
4:21
show.
4:24
You know, I didn't know about it. Obviously everything goes past me. Did you have you run at least found the ABN? Well, who is who is Laurie, I tell you what I do. Let's saves readout in the messages and they'll tell you what I've done. Okay, so it's it's hard because all the messages are in the photos that have been sent. Some of the questions are in the photos. And so I'm just replying to them. And so the photo would have been,
4:49
I don't know, I love listening to the show, whatever. And how long have you listened for
4:54
and I did laughing faces as well. And she said Why are you laughing at me and then
5:00
Write every episode since 30th of April last year. Also, just a huge fan of you. Have you watched Tiger King?
5:08
Right? I mean, this is lovely. This is just you've never had banter before with a woman. No, but this is
5:17
a person. The person had zero posts on their Instagram. It's private. And I think the the photos sent felt like something you'd see on MTV is catfish.
5:32
There's a few things here. Great if it is a catfish, because content is king and no content is king King. Far out Lion King now as he called it, lion king, king king, king, king, king the name in Lion King. I'm probably why they call it Tiger King it's a play on words with Thai Lion King Lion King. But yeah, they also Yeah, yeah.
6:00
Target he does online as well and a bunch of other weird shit but so yeah content great
6:08
when you're, you can't. It could be it could be real you might fall in love with this person and now
6:16
I tried to do some investigative work did a bunch of googling stalking now just investigative work is that
6:26
it's definitely not stalking. Oh no, absolutely not. That's stalking. What I did. Yeah, absolutely. He's literally going on face at face out what he did. He's sniffing the bomb bomb crazy cream. It's still on my desk. Okay,
6:41
great. I was just hanging out. Sorry, I was just I just got a message from Harry. Say, how how dare you talk about should I say no, no, no, I cannot talk about this potential catfish behind her back. Don't let this get between us. Okay, so Harry's obviously being taught because so what I
7:00
did last night was I used a website, which gives you a short link.
7:08
So I created a short link for the daily talk show. And if you go to that link,
7:15
your IP address is shown to me. And so I and then a dummy can work this out. You just take that IP, go to the IP lookup, and then you paste it and you can see where they're coming from in the world. Is that what you did? Yeah. And so I once I was in the city, the thing is that I tested it out with Bray work to train just through text message. And then I tried it on Instagram. So I sent a message and said, Hey, gronk so I wanted to make it seem like it was sort of for everyone. And someone, if you're the other person on it, if you have the person, if you're the person that has sent this message to Mason, and we've got it totally wrong. Just know this is Josh's behaviour. This is not a normal, so almost seen as a compliment that he's just doing what he does.
8:00
Anyways, I sent it I sent a DM through Instagram, and Instagram saw what I was doing and
8:09
I can you I don't have it. I got Yeah, drunks. Thanks for listening to the daily talk show. Have you checked out our new page for our latest announcements? And then you just put in this link try fine there.
8:26
He got
8:29
absolutely. I wasn't a bag of shit. It wasn't a business it was that was just me sort of going out on my own and having a crap. How many reds Have you had at that point? No kidding. diners not and I did the daily talk show. It was on our daily talk show.
8:47
What would you do TJ? I think serves I think for one you should just ask.
8:52
I mean, this isn't you're not there's no commitment over over Instagram message. So hang on. Just
9:00
Can you just run through without us interrupting the text message feed? Or is that it? Have you already done it?
9:08
Not so then yeah, so they mentioned what episode Are you one of the Tiger King haven't started
9:19
putting but but then those save the photos or you can just throw them but tip if you saw the photos, it's got real names. But this is what this is what I found out. If you screenshot a photo someone sent to you in Instagram, they get a notification. So I was screenshotting every photo that was coming through something I this is for one. So I screenshotted them and then and then they messaged and so when you scratch them, what's the first thing you do?
9:47
Send them to you.
9:52
I got to find the message but anyway, she called me out for screenshotting every will they called me out for screenshotting every
10:01
Yeah, free photos and so is it too much for sieves to ask her to take a photo with one finger on her nose on one finger covering her right eyebrow? Why would you do that? What does that mean? Well, because she wouldn't
10:17
say I say
10:20
I say and then has to match up I mean, these catfish people go to a lot of effort.
10:26
And I did a reverse Google Search couldn't find any photos. But hang on. What's when jumping straight? I mean, it feels mobile is online. It feels online dating dead because you thinking everyone's a catfish is always done to us. Why would the first message be? I'd love you
10:47
because Mr. 97 Love you all. He's really adopted my love You strategy
10:55
and, and probably taking a bit too far. Emailing people directly
11:00
He's probably already telling grace that he was waiting for the Yeah. The wings are back on.
11:06
waiting to hear back on. Is that right? No, no, he's waiting for weddings to be back on. Oh, he's waiting. I thought you said we're waiting.
11:15
Yeah, I mean, so did you fly it out? No, I don't think played out. I don't think like if this is you know, Darren from Falcon Collingwood's, it's chatting to you we want to know.
11:26
They don't seem like they're wanting anything. They're just looking for a vulnerable 19 year old or a 20. Year 20 year 20. Yeah, I'm 20 but I reckon this person's less than maybe 15 1516 years. Okay, well,
11:43
that's it. That's my guess.
11:46
I mean, a little bit all outside and you're trying to find the right page.
11:52
I didn't realise that I would have been under age. If I would have just blocked you out this person. Can you
12:00
Please just tell us you kept fishing, or Yeah, you legit in love with Mr. 97. I have a query, I think it in line if
12:10
you have a theory of who it is, I don't want to. I don't want to defame anyone or suggest to I thought maybe I already know who it is. Maybe the IP thing did work. And maybe if you're listening right now, you need to back off.
12:24
And yeah, I mean, and maybe it's us, Josh.
12:30
You got so bored. You got
12:33
your IP did come up hates on that little website. The other thing so it's a VPN. I mean, just get a VPN. You can't you won't be able to tell. Yeah, no, but that would have to. Yeah, don't give them ideas. But
12:49
sibs did show me a photo he was complaining that I'm not smiling in any of the thumbnails.
12:55
Do you know why? Why? Because you do look like you're concentrated.
13:00
On switching what your eyes are never towards the camera unless it's on you and you're doing a piece to camera
13:08
there we go we got a nice thumbnail there. That's all you get.
13:12
So that anyway you guys crepes. Yours are absolute crepes. But service had a photo of me he said this is the best photo that I've got a view and I said it was a it was gonna be part
13:26
if I'm ever on Netflix, whether that's real comedy special or a true crime,
13:31
I could be the next Tiger king
13:35
in doing a stand up for an expose a which is my
13:41
expertise, for sure. He started when he tried to extort the South Pacific health club. He moved on to bigger fish.
13:53
breeze a brave one, picked up a puzzle from work so we could do a puzzle together. Is that off the bat?
14:00
That actually legit off the back of SCO mentioning now we will be doing sorting or before scam. Oh God is what's it What's his partner's name? Who's going on? Jenny?
14:13
I haven't seen scammers patent actually, you know Jenny, she was the one that waited anymore Scott got the puzzles.
14:22
Okay, so Jenny's going to get the puzzles, but he's going to get a puzzle from work when you get to do this puzzle. Well, so it's, we've got to find a surface area that's big enough, because that doesn't it doesn't come for two weeks. But yeah, I'm thinking it's a 500 piece. And I'm sort of I'm not passionate about the actual illustration that we're puzzling together. And so what I wanted was a world map or something that's a little bit sort of more international bit travelling, but I believe it's a woman. It's just just a photo image of a woman on a chair or something.
15:00
I mean, women are puzzling if that is any correlation between the puzzle as Mr. 97 finding out
15:13
Don't get me started just have a one boys. Geez.
15:17
I tell you the different thing about this though. Dating, dating in today's age, it's not something Josh and I have to navigate selves. It's something you're navigating. But think about if you just met somebody and you were physical so you're in the same location you've hooked up with them you might have kissed them once or slept with them. And now just with all the shit that's going on, like where's that leave? just cutting away to your face you tell me
15:49
I mean, I'm at I'm at a patchy but is anyone listening on YouTube? Yeah.
15:56
Yeah. has just joined the service been catfished question about Yeah.
16:00
It's not grace. Oh, Grace is 100 level because
16:05
services upgraded to FaceTime video with grace. Yeah. Well, he's okay. No. So that on the dating thing, think about apps like Tinder, where you can get sort of flings
16:16
you know, especially the the activity some, you know, gay men get up to on those gaydar or these things. Like, I've got friends that I saw, I saw one man, this is like, my, what are you doing tonight? He's just getting some sex, though. What do you mean? He's like, I'll just get some sex or go on the app. And I'll have some text that Oh, you mean you just you don't even know you're going to get it but you know, that you can based on the app and just meeting up, I think about how that would have slowed down. Because of the Quran of Earth. There's like less sex sexual activity. I mean, this is maybe I don't blame this person for catfishing you What else are they gonna do? They might just being quarantined. And just going on. He said, I'm just getting sex with you Like, how you getting sex?
17:00
Were you interested? Yeah, we I mean, this is where he was then told me about medication that is. So I mean, I looked it up. It's like it's almost promoted the gay community, and it reduces the chance of AIDS by 80% or 90%, which means that you can, they don't say like this, but if you have unprotected sex is a higher, there's a much, much lower risk and you take it daily. And I was asking, I was just fascinated. How much is it? How long do you take it for? Anyway, I looked into it. I was the guy. I think he must be. You know, I mentioned it to you. I didn't mention it on the show. I actually mentioned it to you. I wasn't sure I did. No, I don't think so.
17:43
But yeah, I mean, it's an interesting thought. And so, casual hookups aren't happening. So I mean, this is changing the landscape for you know, the dating scene. TJ you had a long distance relationship with Amy.
18:00
Before you got married
18:03
is great. Absolutely great. I loved it because so we met in Bali. I was flying home the next me was flying home the next day, I was flying out two days later. And it was, you know, the fun sort of carefree Knights are of, well, we don't live in the same city. But then when I got back, I was in shepparton at the time. And it was a nice reason to go to a city that I loved, which is Sydney and a more bonsai.
18:33
And so, yeah, it was it was it felt it definitely added to the spark. And I and the problem with online dating that I never, I never really it was very it was sort of first iteration of Tinder when I was still single testing for an MVP was just random and like it wasn't, it wasn't the fuckface that it is now and those are just
19:00
It was bought skinny on to me like, I remember having this one bought that was just like, jewels line was on my phone. He was loving it. Anyway, what do you mean? What is this button? It was a bot literally that was auto sending, or it might have been someone on it trying to like, hey, go to this link. You know, it was almost it wasn't you, Josh?
19:25
Like they trying to con you Right. And so it was weird. I don't know if that is happening as much. There's more people on it. More actual real users. Anyhow,
19:35
I always found with those dating apps that there's no spark. I like having kind of meeting somebody and it's like feelings of lots of feelings. It's kind of nice. It's not the reality for everybody. But I was grateful that I met Amy and then we kind of kept the sort of spark going because she was in the state. And so there was the phone calls and you know, it's like the first time I
20:00
Hold her, I made up some bullshit story that she had me hat. And I lost my hat. And I was like, do you have my hand? It's so stupid. I knew exactly what I was doing. She knew exactly what I was doing. Absolutely not. I just thought I needed some reason, you know, you need some reason to start a conversation. And so, but yeah, I think this, I think the, I think the distance is why we
20:27
grew this sort of really nice relationship
20:32
where we had breaks from each other. So when you you know, you're not just catching up three nights a week. It's like once in a weekend and it was quite intense. You know, you hang with each other for extended periods of time and for me a great bond and then you sort of step away from it and talk on the phone, but it's, it's really not advice for long distance relationships.
20:56
Well, I mean, if it's if it's gonna play out and
21:00
I mean, this is the thing, I think relationships. There's so much around timing. Like if I was
21:07
cutting to him again, because
21:11
if I was in Melbourne and Amy was in Melbourne and we met in Bali, I don't know, I don't know if it would be the same I can't I can't really say based on it not being the reality but I just think there was something about intrigue of someone from another state and just kept that going for a little bit longer to get us through some of those first sort of stages of a relationship where you're building a friendship and trust and, and learning about each other and, you know, learning to love each other and so I think it Yeah, I think it's definitely advantageous in some respects, because you just you've got your own space, and then you kind of get to test the waters and fly to Perth. You know, all that kind of stuff. It's, I mean, for the Sydney it's
21:56
sorry,
21:58
there is he even
22:00
Set up. That's how funny got about it. But yeah, so it's it's a bit of fun and it might work or might not
22:08
for people that are doing long distance, relationships, but hey, it's not one of us.
22:14
Anyway, can I get some before we finish up? Can I get some parenting advice?
22:23
So you're either How would I adhesives though Can we just admit
22:28
competitors? This this whole episode I've just been holding in my, my yawns and so I just had an absolute meltdown just before where I held it in, but my eyes didn't so it was just like one of those. I saw one of my clothes and the other eye.
22:47
Eyes are twitching and everything still is twitching. Yeah, I've got I'm getting MTR. What's going on boys. Why are we Why is this happening? My time.
22:57
We're all buddy. We're all screwed.
23:01
Advice. Yeah, sorry. I'm feeling like, I mean, I don't feel great about giving Bodie, a screen safe guidance. You know, looking down on me right now.
23:11
But we're gonna get the show out. And I was thinking like last week noticing him and seeing how
23:21
sort of disruptive these with no routine. And I'm trying to work out what his routine looks like and simultaneously what my new routine looks like with you guys. And so I have a few things I've been getting up super early to do some work before Bodi wakes up. And it's lovely because he runs down he's happy and he sees me runs to me and cuddles. But, you know, then mom goes to work and we drop her there. But I'm trying to build out a routine. So I've just kind of, I'm starting to I want to optimise this and because I feel like I want to be a good dad. I mean, I am a good dad, but I want to be a bad dad.
24:00
So today I've created in my notion 30th Of March 2020. And I've started outlining what his food has been, and also what his
24:13
activities have been. Because I'm thinking about like, you pull him out of daycare, and that's structured learning is, you know, constantly. What's the learning that you're doing when you're in daycare?
24:25
No, but if you can't, yeah, it's not like they're just packing kids in a room and that's it. They have painting time they do cultural dancing, and like they bring in people from outside. They couldn't do the dancing thing for us on the show.
24:40
Well, here's the thing. It's different with dad. I'm not somebody dressed in, you know, native Indian, but like,
24:52
I can't do that on camera. I can do what I could do it off camera, but no. So it's like they actually get the full experience and they
25:00
They're doing structured draw, like drawing and exploring sort of tactile things. Like, I'm out of my depth here, boys. I'm singing I'm being a stay at home dad. And I've got no idea. I mean, I'm not. You guys aren't sort of the people to lean on. But I thought now Who else have I got? What have I got? So, okay, so here is his, this is his day, food. Do you know day on a plate or day to day on? Yeah, okay. So 830 smoothie and toast times 110 30 am yoghurt quarter serve my first one. What time was that? I ready. He's up before 830 though, isn't he? Yeah, but um, I just, I definitely gave it to him before but I just I'm just putting times in them. I don't know. It's specific. It's just roughly why four times at all if you if you're not being specific, because I want to know, I don't want to it's like what time we left the house, which makes sense because he's still sort of eating he's toast. It's a pity you know, I'm not
26:00
What are you taking the last? It's okay, let's go. This is almost last bite or last mouthful. Okay, this is the time frame 830 smoothie in toast 1030 yoghurt, quarter serve 115, two eggs with cheese. And then it was about 230 3:33pm buy two bites of a banana.
26:23
And so that's all he had today.
26:26
But there's there's still the thing is he literally need he is struggling, he's hungry, but he struggles because he's got no routine around eating. And so the food thing that's obviously headlining attention to that, if you're gonna know, so then the activities, activities was a baby chair from the shops with dead. Well, that's also more like but I'm looking for opportunities. This is this is not to beat me down, exercise out the back for 15 minutes, and we did a live stream so I'm thinking about integrating live. I thought live streaming
27:00
Die doing the the exercise I thought that was so clever because he's releasing heaps of energy just before we do the show. Yeah, exactly. That was my that was my whole life is structured around the talk show. So now I'm thinking every morning What do you reckon? Every morning at 10am we do a live live feed. What about spreads he could he could he get into springs.
27:27
He likes to push ups and squats and he likes me sort of manhandling him and just lifting him. He gets around. I could do swings I could swing him around. I don't know. I'll explore Do you reckon it's good idea to keep doing large fades every morning time. Okay, great. Would you join saves like for a little workout with Bodie? elda Yeah, I even thought like Tommy Davidson.
27:53
pt get him to sort of join the live feed and run through a training programme. I thought we could actually get
28:00
The trainers in. I could ask, you know, a bunch of other people that we know like to
28:07
get Darren. Yep.
28:11
So that was one of the activities Josh. We went to the shops and we bought vegetables and then in the car I got him to tell me the back the vegetables we got this similar.
28:25
We could ask Bodie is it?
28:29
a potato? Sweet potato? onions eboard yet? No. Broccoli, Lake
28:39
eggs. Can you guess what I'm making? an omelette for Tata close.
28:47
beak on.
28:48
Video is a huge honour now and then. And then we did an outside box session. And so can you cut to you when you're drinking a glass when you drink?
29:01
As he sips giant, enormous glass now And so anyway, can you What else should I put in there? What's like a? So I've got the, you've got like food category activities category. Oh, we did some drawing. I forgot to put that in there. But he got a bit bored of them. What about a letter to mom? What about if he could write a love letter? A bit of
29:25
doing his gratitude journal already
29:29
do these three. What about what about meditation? Could he with in SAM Harris's app? Could you use? Yeah, was it an acre or an acre? an acre Harris? Yep. Herman I should I put one on in the car today. And he yelled at me and said that's for nighttime. And
29:50
I mean, he's telling me what to do. But anything else Josh say you're an ideas guy. So did you write down something around the creative writing, writing
30:00
Later. Yep. And
30:02
what about I think this could be stuff with me being at work you could double down on doing nice things. So then yeah, you could get a bit of cleaning.
30:14
She could you get him going around the house with like a broom or something like that. I feel like you'd enjoy that. You might make a mess here or just picking up your stuff. yet. We have great pickup stuff. What about making
30:26
picking flowers from the garden? Every Wednesday? Yeah, mom.
30:31
That's a great idea. Josh. Wednesday. Wednesday, flower.
30:37
Flower winter flower. Yep. What else?
30:41
Thursday.
30:44
I'm thinking like,
30:46
spray painting past a gold and then taking it to apply. God can you give a three year olds frightening trick and
30:58
I think if you could do the spraying
31:00
Are you trying to do spray paint past that? I've actually got some I've got some spray paint. I just, I've actually set the office. Pick that up.
31:11
Great. Now this is good. what's what's happening on Friday, Friday night drinks Friday, I think it's, um,
31:17
for a toy audit. He's going to go through and put all the different categories.
31:25
He's not there yet. He's definitely not there yet. What about like so obviously though, that language is a bit hard to frame to understand, but what about just
31:35
pick, putting your colour coordinating all of your toys, so putting them in a row from all the different colours?
31:44
Yep, no, that's good.
31:46
Ryan Spencer said.
31:49
Tommy get some dice and teach him easy math.
31:54
style. He said grace. I mean, we're, we're using up all of our supplies.
32:00
Next you're gonna be making 10 necklaces as well. Ladies said try have playdough and toys on it. Or she also wrote that librarians have recorded their reading stories and that's been buying her a bunch of time. Oh, that's Oh, that's great. Can you use LinkedIn
32:20
job ready? Future fit? get him get him to do a one on one with Andrea o'clock. What about this? What about something for Tuesday's? Yeah, recording a video message for one of his friends. Great idea Tuesday. Good for presenting, you know, getting his presenting skills out including doing one forum. I think it'd be nice to do one for his normal
32:45
daycare workers.
32:49
Video friends.
32:52
Shannon said that it's by law government enforced so so
33:01
have started the daycare stuff. So where I was saying she said
33:06
let me say it's too hard Tommy I swear to God, I do 50 different activities a day for her son. They have certain curriculum they meet at in childcare. Obviously not as much as primary school, but they definitely have to follow a specific structure. It's government advice. So it's the point is Yeah, I'm seeing the effects of no structure on body and
33:29
and I definitely need to lift my game.
33:33
So painting, Brees texting, because she's watching in the other room. What do we think about writing your paintings? Great. We've got paints. I just need a sorted out because there were it was all dry.
33:46
I couldn't find the paint. You know, can you drop in some hand eye coordination? To say yeah, am I catching tennis balls and stuff. I've got found a ball found double near tennis court.
34:00
And I brought it home. Grand. Yeah, I think about that just throwing throwing him a ball. What about making making your own muesli?
34:10
Oh yeah, so he could pick the ingredients that he's like like goji berries and different bits and put them into glass jars and then he could have nibs just now we don't live in two rack. This really sounds like something the two rack or you could use. You could use them.
34:26
I don't know what's more cosy. I'm just thinking you can get like
34:31
Yeah, get
34:33
out. Brand brand is it brand brand? What about orienteering? I love orienteering.
34:40
He's just a bit young for orienteering. I did think like a man I saw one on, I saw one on Facebook video where someone had put tape on my go to the office and get some tape. You put tape like coloured type all around the house and it's like it leads you through the house goes up onto tables and
35:00
have to get up there and go jump off. It's almost like a it's almost like a
35:05
ninja warrior course. Well, that's fine. But I saw
35:09
that looked at it. I saw something similar.
35:12
Just around the block
35:15
around the block. What about Have you seen the teddy bear thing?
35:21
What teddy bear thing. So I saw Ben Fordham post about it and a bunch of people in the neighbourhoods are putting teddy bears in their window and so the kids can walk around and try and spot teddy bear. Oh, that's cute. That is cute. But if it is of your neighbourhood and not getting involved, it's gonna be pretty disappointing.
35:42
Mostly all the Italians around my neighbourhood. So that could be I mean, we might find it so there is another one Josh that people are doing. Putting up Christmas lights, putting them back up to bring a bit of Joy to the world.
35:57
not cute. What about painting egg
36:00
For I know I don't know if it's getting into the sort of the religious thing but painting eggs for Easter I've I painted eggs as a kid I remember doing as long as you get to eat eggs after it Amy actually said paid let's we should paint eggs like as a family it's that's a good one definitely painting eggs this week and yeah a lot about you know the things that go on Christmas trees that is it a bob bobble? Yeah, well yeah. When I was a kid every Christmas when I'd go to my Nana's we would all make our own balls. Why don't you Why doesn't he make baubles The other thing too is he could be doing cards for everyone that you could send out in the mail. So Nana
36:45
Good idea. Yeah, she sent him the egg so that's our I'm doing a trade off with my dad. Cake it to close tomorrow. Get some wood off it. We made it aside straight
36:57
once in a
36:59
while. Just
37:00
sound more theatrical. We are really excited straight just because he's working in a lot in in nearby suburb. So I'm just gonna do a trade off. But
37:11
anyway, boys, I got to go pick up, Amy. It's part of the routine Bodi comes with me. What about could he do something in the car? I feel like there could be something creative in the idea.
37:25
Automatic accounting of red cars.
37:29
Great it recap Can I think can we spot a red car?
37:33
Right caspari right.
37:37
don't even need to be dead. This is getting through me. Yeah, I'm happy there we go. You could play a directions game get Bodie to tell you how to get on.
37:47
He does. He almost knows. He's fucking real good at that. What about a getting him a compass just so he can learn about like, although you won't understand it yet. If you can stay away.
38:00
Just get him looking at a compass by the time he's five he'll he'll know it off by heart.
38:05
Yeah I also thought a magnifying glass so we can burn shit out the back.
38:12
Yeah, why do you say good to have some outdoor time definitely agree
38:16
to keep some structure my seven year old is now officially in charge of breakfast every morning solid. We're also divvying up the house cleaning maybe by room, room or day. Not sure yet and gardening every every day. What's something that in the morning that he could do? Just to make the day a really good start?
38:39
I mean, tell me a great day. Yeah, it's gonna be a great day. He just has to say that he's feet on the ground. That's from tiny habits by BJ Fogg. Seriously, he's a different kid. I've dialled in that morning routine of smoothie and toast and he just, he's a new man. He just absolutely thrives.
39:00
So it's centred around food that routine but there's definitely something else we could do. The exercise seems like the go to for everyone.
39:09
It is screams and food. No wonder kids get set for quietness in the car. I always do snacks. Car is messy but they quiet.
39:19
Right?
39:20
Boy shoving food in their face a guide. I've got I've got one, clean the car. I hit cleans you get around the vacuum cleaner. I feel like you'd love the vacuum cleaner. Yeah, I could get him to use these blower. He could just blow stuff around. He does blowing gardening. Yeah, that's good. Structured gardening. Structured blower time. I think there's something I this is due in the morning. I really think that if you start the day, right.
39:47
I'm serious. You'll still believe that it will. But we're not speaking that may
39:53
mean we've got we've got a chance to redo somebody to give someone you know redo what Josh made wrong. So
40:00
At the moment, he just he just run it like how does he start the day at the moment? He gets up when he feels like it, which is usually 7am comes into mommy and daddy's bed has a cuddle. And but at that time I'm downstairs. So now he's new one is to run down to data. And he's so happy smiling runs over and gives me a big cuddle and kiss. So maybe
40:23
maybe he stands on a specific you've got tiles in the kitchen.
40:27
Yeah, we get tiles. What about just matching like a hopscotch thing with the tiles in the morning. I was gonna say even more specific, he just has to stand on one tile that you've sort of dedicated and he just says, I love you. And then he can move away from the tile. I've got chalk on footpath outside. I that's my brain I have loved what Yeah, all of that. From kids to chalk. Chalk up the back. Alright guys, I've got a run but nice one to get another episode in. Yeah, check him doing every
41:00
Every day today, tomorrow, we've got Brad on the show from New York. He's actually coming from Long Island because he's he's left Manhattan with everything that's going on. But we'll have that. If you Bri gave some feedback, she said make sure you're not making too many visual references because you're going to alienate your audio audience. So I appreciate that. And if you are listening, we do live stream. If you live streaming and watching right now and you prefer to listen, you can do that on all the podcast apps.
41:32
Yeah, right. Oh, here it right on cue guys. Alright. So daily talk show. I have gone guys say bye.
